We checked out from the apartment at about 1230 hrs, and settled our accomodation fee to the landlady. After that, we decided to take some pictures... or rather silly shots. All of us was forced to take at least a "silly post" photo... and it will not be posted here due to the.... ridiculous content. HAHAHAHA! :)
After that, we set off to visit the places we didn't go yesterday.
We first headed to Sam's Farm which has a large variety of flora. Many species of plants are found here, some which I never even seen or heard of before. Walked around the interior of the farm just to find even more plants within. The place was rather crowded here as people from the city also decided to make Fort Cameron their holiday destination. :S The Cactus Plantation was decided as our next destination as it was just next to Sam's Farm. All sort of cactus are seen here, tall, short, fat, thin...etc. ^^. We took some nice pictures of ourselves here, but due to the limited amount of space Geocities provided me on this webpage, I am not able to upload them here... ><
After our visit to both the places, we set off to have lunch at a restaurant near the Strawberry Farms. We decided to have some western food since we already been eating oriental food for the past two days of the trip. Well, personally I didn't quite enjoy the food. The serving was tiny and the price was exhorbitant. I do not know about the rest of them. When we were done with lunch, we walked over to the strawberry plantations. We explored the farm, but didn't get the chance to walk into the deeper parts of the field as they were fenced. Therefore, we decided to have some strawberry desert at the plantation. Okay, the desert was really something. We had nice Strawberry desert with icecream. :P
Csan is kept busy with his client phone calls that day while we were at the strawberry farm. If I were him, I was just turn my cell phone OFFLINE. :)
The last part of today was the visit to the Butterfly Park. The place was packed with many foreigners from other countries visiting the place. "There were many Smithsonians at the Butterfly Park." was the phrase used by FJ and I to describe the phenomenon. =) . Anyway, there were alot of butterflies there. Besides butterflies, there were tortoise, fish, snakes, cat, chicken, iguana, scorpions, giant grasshoppers and etc. HAHA! Indeed a lovely place for nature lovers. :P ...
