Some of you may recognize this from a challenge
post I put out on another list back during the
early part of the year.  The challenge then was
what would have happened to the other characters
if Nick had not 'caught' the pipe bomb and
entered their lives.  This is based on the song
"Cat's In The Cradle"  And involves Tracy.

I don't own the song, nor the FK
Characters...ect...ect...ect...


My girl was born just the other day,
Such a sight, but I couldn't stay
There was work to do, and bills to pay,
She learned to walk while I was away.
And she was talking before I knew it,
And as she  grew she'd say,
I wanna be just like him, 
Mom.
I wanna be just like him

My girl turned ten just the other day
She said thanks for the gun dad common let's go.

and said that's okay.
Her smile never left as she said

I've long since retired,
My girl's moved away,
I called her up just the other day.

She said I'd like to dad if I can find the time.
