about jane:jane is darias best friend.they met in self esteem class(which jane had taken 6times).jane could easily passed but "she liked her low self esteem,because it made her feel special"like daria,jane is sarcastic,cynical and intelligent and she is also a talented artist.
She has had many boyfriends but her only long term one,tom sloane ended in diaster when tom daria kissed.their now going out.at first jane was uneasy with it but now she accepts it and often teases daria about it.
Jane was accepted into the boston college of fine arts and will continue to drag daria into more adventures as their colleges are close by each other.
