We visited this elegant city in July 1996. We had the good fortune to stay in the home of Grace Durham on Moray Place. When Grace flew to Georgia to visit her mother in Americus, she left us her keys to the house and private garden. For the rest of our stay, it was as if we lived in Edinburgh.
Among other things, we had haggis, danced at a gay bar on Rose St., and took the train to the moutainous Isle of Mull in western Scotland.
We also had delicious Thai food at the Orchid as the guests of Grace's lovely friends Jimmy and David.
