We would live here if we had comparable jobs. Asheville has the benefits of a cooler climate than Atlanta, with snow in the winter and cool summer nights. It is much smaller than Atlanta but has an excellent cultural life; art galleries and colleges abound.

Darryl lived here in the Eighties and friend David Perkins still lives here. We visit Asheville regularly, often with the Killians and with Starr and Bruce. For a good review of the city's delights, see What's Doing in Asheville.
