Welcome to our DARE Trek web site. For the students that we teach a very warm hallo. For everyone else, Ahlan Wa Sahlan (Egyptian for welcome) and we hope you find the site an interesting window into our fundraising adventure. The two officers pictured above are members of the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service bike patrol unit and are also DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) instructors. They have recently established the DARE programme in the Cayman Islands' primary schools.

From April the 4th until the 20th they will be attempting to cycle 1000 miles along the banks of the river Nile in Egypt, Africa to raise funds for the project. The following site includes a daily updated journal of their encounters and showcases the equipment they have used for the journey. It also shows their route and provides links to their supporters.
