| This was the first band who played to start off thie brutal night of seeing Lamb Of God. They were heavy and the best opening band there. They had some sweet songs and got some crazy mosh pits going on, I went in a couple but knew that I didn't belong in any of them. The guitarist/vocalist for the band was a cool front man. He would do funny shit like twitch his face whenever he played an unexpected note. They are possibly the only thing good to ever come out of West Virginia. I would buy their album if I came across it. All and all, they were a good band. | |||||||||||||||||||

| This was the second band to play. They were power metal and very entertaining. Most of the people there didn't like them because of their really high vocals, but that's essential in power metal. I, being a fan of some powermetal, thought they were good for what they are. Everyone in the band could play well. We recognized the vocalist because he works at Smoothie King in Carry Town, so a couple days after we went and talked to him. He's a really cool guy, it's just a shame that they got a few "boo's" when they performed. It was really cheesy, althought what power metal isnt cheesy? It really made you feel like you were a night about to go slay dragons and save a princess. The frontman would say stupid stuff like "This next song is about being stabbed in the back by cowards. Cowards who listen to....false metal!" and stuff like that. He even talked about minions coming out of hell or someting. He claimed that they were "true" metal over and over again, and that got pretty old. I liked them to an extent and respect them for what they do. I would like to open for them. | |||||||||||||||||||

| Worse band there in my opinion. I heard some crazy hype about them being "southern metal", but they were really just punk. The songs were unoriginal and boring. The vocals wern't very pleasing to the ears, and the bassist looked goofy as shit. I couldn't wait for them to end so that Lamb of God could set up. | |||||||||||||||||||

| Wow, this was deffinetely the most brutal band I've seen. I don't think there was a single time when somebody wasnt going crazy and beatin the shit out of everyone near them. They played for about an hour and a half. Their setlist was very good.....opening with Ruin and closing with Black Label. They even played "Bloodletting" off of their first cd when they were called Burn The Priest. They also played two new songs that are on the album coming out in August. Lots of people started chanting for the "Wall Of Death" but Randy said that the place was too small for that. I am proud to say I managed to stay in the front the whole time. I was constantly being hit in the back and getting knocked almost off my feet. None of us got injured like we though we would. I only got kicked in the eye, but other than that, we made out well. I touched Randy Blythe's hand about 8 times, and he even fell off the stage onto me and I was actually hugging the man....it was a special moment. Before the concert when we were waiting outside, Randy would just walk on out and just be like "what's up"....He was really down to earth and a cool guy. I was the first one to go and buy a shirt, but they didn't have any change yet. The shirt's were $15 and I had $20.....so Randy himself came over and changed me with his own $5 bill....another special moment. This night was crazy and will be remembered for a long time. I think it's ok to say everyone had a great time. We hope to see them again in 2 months. | |||||||||||||||||||
