12/11/04 - I got volume 10 of Battle Royale the other day. It came out on Dec. 7th. Pretty ironic for a release date of a hard-core ultraviolent manga, huh? Speaking of violent and depressing, Dimebag Darryl is no longer with us. I never really listened to Pantera a whole lot, but his untimely passing is still sad nonetheless. I give my deep condolences to the Abbott family, bandmates, friends, and fans of both Pantera and Damageplan alike. What a way to start the Christmas holiday, huh? What a bummer... On a lighter note, I plan to start other little enclaves here. I might give a review of my favorite movie here and there, and I was thinking about starting another little page called "American Celluloid Heroes", where I salute badass movie heroes from my favorite movies. Keep your fingers crossed... 1/19/05 - Sorry I couldn't get another update here sooner. I've been busy with school. Yes, I'm back for the new semester. I'm taking Psychology and a course on ethics. As a nice plus, there's a cute girl in both of these classes that seems to like me, but from the looks of it, it seemed like she was flirting with a lot of guys. But I can dream, right? I plan to put up a movie review soon, and nominate the first "American Celluloid Hero". That will come REALLY soon, so please be patient, OK? MORE TO COME SOON... 1/29/05 - I was eating at Bennigan's yesterday with my family when I felt like having a cigarette. Instead of going out to have it, because it's still colder than the ninth circle of Hell here in Ohio, I went inside of the adjoining bar where I could smoke freely. The bartender asked if I wanted anything, and I told him to give me a Coke, because I'm an abstainer. "You come into an Irish bar, and you're an ABSTAINER," he said. "And on top of being a non-drinker, you SMOKE? Man, you got problems." "I just want lung cancer instead of liver failure, and certainly not both," I answered. "Well, you got a point there," the bartender sighed, and he poured me a Coke. Funny, huh? Sigh... On another note, I SWEAR I will have the first inductee for the American Celluloid Heroes. Next week by the latest. With pictures. I already have him chosen, so all you have to do is wait...more to come later... 3/28/05 - REALLY SORRY for the lack of recent updates, people. There's a lot of stuff going on both in and out of this little enclave. First, our very first inductee to the American Celluloid Heroes is here. Check it out and see who it is! Secondly, I got a new laptop (Sony VIAO K model) so I've been hard at work trying to get things reconfigured so I can bring fabulous updates to you (well, if you can call it that...)! Neeext, school is also an issue. I'm still going strong getting at least a 3.8 GPA. Keep cheering me on, people!!! More to come soon, I hope... 4/04/05 - AAARGH! I fucking HATE Best Buy now. I bought my new laptop from there (if works fine, though, and that's not what I'm mad about), but it's the last thing I will EVER purchase from their chain of stores, and I do not give a FLYING FUCK what I can get there that I won't find anywhere else. A word of advice, everyone - never, ever, EVER try to get in-store financing or a credit card with a department store. All you get is a lot of junk mail, worthless accounts that you have to cancel, and a lot of grief as the end result. In Best Buy, a privacy policy is nonexistent. I had three other cards sent to me because the store GAVE away my information like it was some party favors. And all I wanted to do was ESTABLISH credit, not be overwhelmed by it! Too bad I had to learn it the hard way...dammit... *huff, puff, puff* Okay, I'm calm now... everything is cool... on a lighter note, I'm posting some more links which should be up shortly, everyone. Take care until then. because I don't know when the junk mail will stop and I can relax...

(Left) I was so pissed today that I just wanted to blow a gasket like "Killer" Kiriyama here... It's a good thing that we live in a civilized country and not somewhere like Mogadishu, Somalia! Picture courtesy of Fight 4 Survival, another AWESOME BR website with GREAT pics!

4/12/05 - The new VIAO is still working great! So now I can bring more little updates to you! Speaking of which - while surfing around on my new wireless card I found some AWESOME point and click adventure games that you really need to try out. They're called "Crimson Room", "Viridian Room", and "Blue Chamber". Basically, the games revolve around you being trapped in a room, and you have to be resourceful and use your head in order to get out. Check it out at this website. According to their main page, another room called "Pink Prison" should be coming out soon...I jusr CANNOT WAIT! I really am such a big nerd, huh? Plus, more good news. I'm thinking of another American Celluloid Hero. I've got the next nominee narrowed down to two or three people, so keep your fingers crossed... 5/17/05 - I've declared war on all cats. My neighbor's cat tried to bite me the other day, and thankfully, it didn't break the skin. So now, I have a BB gun, plenty of time for target practice now that the weather is getting nicer, and a hatred for all things that reside within the feline race. Screw PETA. To hell with all cat lovers. I'm taking out all my four-legged adversaries if it's the last thing that I ever do. On a few lighter notes, the new inductee into the American Celluloid Heroes is coming soon! I'm tight lipped as of yet on who it is (my trusted confidants already know who the next hero will be), but expect to see him soon. Until then, check out the cool new background and, most of all, the new Celluloid Heroes Hall of Fame. That's right - who loves ya, baby?
