This skidplate is very very durable and attaches to the bottom of the frame with U-brackets. The screws on the bottom are countersunk to make a completely smooth undersurface. This thing can take severe abuse like nothing and still holds up. It protects the bottom of the frame if you accidentally case it off a jump, and also protects the soft underbelly of the motor from rocks and debris. It also has an oil drain hole in it so the trans oil can still be changed easily. Installation is very easy, it has 6 brackets that go over the frame rail from the inside and it holds it on there very firmly. It is a great investment for the safety of you quad.
