My great-great-grandfather Derron Dracel was the son of a nobleman, and also the direct descendent of the first Dracel ever to exist, Derrick Dracel (who created the name from Draco [dragon]). He attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, just like every Dracel before him since the school was started. It is tradition and an almost guarantee that all Dracels were sorted into the great house of Slytherin. Therefore, Derron was a Slytherin and a great one like all the rest by being proficient in all schoolwork, extracurricular activities and dueling.  He met his wife while attending Hogwarts, just like his ancestors. She was a fair Slytherin, not one of the most highly rated, but a snake she was and worthy of marriage. They married on a gloomy, October day and bore three children: Dean Richard, Devon Constant, and Dierdra Maitland. All three were Slytherins; Dierdra married into an Irish family, the Skees, Devon became infertile after a tragic dueling accident, and Dean became my great-grandfather.

My great-grandfather Dean was a handsome gentleman that was known to woo any woman he desired while in school. He was a top player on the Quidditch team as chaser and pursued an occupation in the ministry of magic, working for the department of mysteries. Luckily, he found a beautiful Ravenclaw girl that matched him in every sense, Hayden Rosestone, during his last year of schooling and passed on his genes before he died a painful death of an unknown disease after just twelve so-called happy years of marriage. He fathered two children, Darnell Arthur and Derica Mairwen. Derica married a wealthy man by the surname of Bryan, whom was infamous for his odd wealth. Story is there is no story; the wealth was and is still a mystery. However, his granddaughter would be Isley Bryan, a temporary Ravenclaw student who is two years younger than I. I’m afraid the mystery became too much and Isley is no longer alive; I could be wrong. As one may suspect at this point, Darnell became my grandfather.

Grandpappy’ Darnell was the exact copy of his father, same looks, same wit, and same outcome. He took over for Dean after the tragic death and after twelve years of being employed in the department of mysteries, he died of another rare unknown disease. He, too, was able to find a woman that rivaled him that would bare his children and be known as his wife. She was a nasty Slytherin, second in her class, second to my grandfather; Maeryn Blackwood. They parented three children, Daryn Maynard, Devonna Bryan, and Demetria Christine before their death. Maeryn went out the melodramatic way by committing suicide following grandpappy’s mysterious death. As these three siblings reached adulthood, Lord Voldermort was building his army and naturally, a pureblooded mostly Slytherin line was to join in the battle. Daryn and Demetria survived to continue the line, but Devonna was brutally killed as she bravely fought for her side. Demetria went on to marry a noble Slytherin, Marius Harding, and they parented two daughters, Ligeia Harding, a Slytherin two school years below me and Della Harding, a Ravenclaw six school years below me.

After the first fall of Voldermort, Daryn vacationed in America for an extensive time, grieving the loss of his sister while rebuilding his character. While in the foreign country, he stumbled upon a woman that greatly caught his interest as he visited a magical town in the state of Virginia. This woman was Sanne Migliore, my future mother. She was the daughter of Marco Nox Migliore and Samara Migliore, both pureblooded Italians that had moved to America for financial success. Marco was part of a loving family that supported his trip to America; his parents were Giancarlo Nox Migliore and Valeria Ferro Migliore are sadly gone, while his brother Christiano Coti Migliore still resides in Italy.

And thus the story continues with my coming and the ending of any male Dracels. The lineage rest upon my shoulders; and when I marry, for I am forced to, I will be keeping my name and not changing to match my husband. Therefore, even though I may have lovers that others are not approved of, I am quietly searching for the boy to father my children and continue to the line.
