| 12/4/2002 Been a while since last update (as A. Wilson reminds me daily), so I have decided to do a somewhat brief update. I am taking a short break from DMing until after christmas, roughly, and will begin DMing again shortly afterwards. I am completely remodling Tarsonoth, up to renaming it. First, the world is MUCH larger then the previous version, and already I have developed more interesting histories and cultures, although the actual developements are only roughly sketched out. I recommend all of you subscribing to roleplayingtips.com due to it being an awesome site with excellent tips and ideas. I continue to remodle, remove, and add races to Tarsonoth, including a new race, the Thaon (name might change). The Thaon is simply a short human with varying traits and wings, as many have requested wings. I regret to say that Thri-Kreen will not be returning to Tarsonoth, but I am hoping the winged race will keep everyone happy. Expect new things shortly. I wish I could take the credit for some info I shall be soon posting, but D. Watkins has been helping with the races immensely. I am having to go over her summaries of the races, however, expect those shortly. A. Brazik is still set on moving the sessions to Friday after school at the school. I am not truly sure how likely this is, but I'm sure we can all pray that it works (you pick your deity). I will be changing the geography section soon, and adding a large amount of information there. The realms alone with increase tenfold, and I have added more lands (about 4 times as much). If you cannot tell, I will unfortunately have to restart the campaign, however I am debating starting all characters at fifth level. I shall soon be writing individual letters to each player talking about what needs to be done to improve our sessions, as lately they have just been going downhill, which I mainly blame that on me, but players run the session, as I have said and heard many times over. At this point, I am not sure what to expect campaign-wise, but I am (again) extremely interested in running a piracy campaign, because I extremely dislike the typical dungeon-delving (although that rarely leads us wrong). Alright, that shall cover it. Expect larger updates shortly. Thank you for you patience. |
