Ok, this part has the most blatant display of my anti-religious views in this plot, don’t go on if you think you could be offended by that…there will also be rape and mention of rape…
Wings and Tears: Part 16
Quatre stared at Solo stunned as the boy landed carefully on the floor. “No,” the blonde said, shaking his head, “You…can’t say that. Not here. Not Trowa.” Trowa came to his husband and gathered Quatre into his arms.
“It’s alright Quatre, I’m ok. Hanna’s ok. You’re ok. Solo was given that dream for a reason. Now let’s just go inside and see our daughter, ok?” Trowa looked down into Quatre’s tear-filled eyes. Quatre slowly nodded, half of his attention was still on the pain around him, the grief of the human species. Trowa and Quatre, still holding each other lead the way into the house. Solo stayed back, head down, his ears picked up the angry cries as well.
“Solo?” Duo asked and Heero watched them both cautiously.
“Dad, I…I don’t even know what to do about what’s going on. All those people out there are going to have to deal with the souls of Hell. That means: murderers, rapists, pedophiles, thugs, thieves, and the average non-believer. It means that people with a grudge towards God and the living are going to be set lose to torture those on Earth and the colonies.”
“How long do we have?” Heero asked.
Solo’s head shook slowly, his mouth was open and tears filled his eyes. His hand rested on his neck, “Anything from a few hours to days. It’s never been done before. It’s never been possible before.”
A tremor from the ground sent them to their knees. The Earth shook and rattled for a moment before it carefully stopped.
“What the fuck was that?” Duo asked. The three quickly stood to run into the safe house.
“Everyone ok?” Duo called.
“Yeah, yeah. We’re fine.” It was Rasid’s voice.
Duo entered the room where the four Maquancs and the Winner-Barton’s were.
“Daddy, what was that?” Hanna asked through Quatre’s arms.
“It…I think it’s started.” Solo said.

“Let’s go home,” he whispered, and the lack of sound around them enabled his voice to be heard.
Michael nodded. “Spirit?” he asked.
The Spirit’s body was hunched over and his hands were on the dirt of the path. “You do realize what this means for those on Earth.”
“Wufei’s friends have a safe house and Solo is with them, they’re safe.”
Wufei’s eyes flashed back into their color, he looked angry. When he spoke it was his voice, not the Spirit’s. “And what about the humans I fought to save, Michael! The ones you fought to create!”
“Wufei…” Michael began.
Wufei returned to the Spirit with a sigh, “We are still under your command.”
Michael nodded, “I’m sorry.”
“No, you are not. You merely care about dragging God out of his hole. You do not grasp what has happened. You forget about Trowa’s past.”
“What do you mean?”
The Spirit
sighed, “Trowa grew up with mercenaries, whom he killed because of betrayal.

The Earth began shake again. Hanna screamed with fright. Solo fell again and Duo and Heero grasped onto walls. Then the Earth settled again and they could hear a distant howling that barely reached their ears, it came from the city.
“It’s defiantly done,” Solo said, eyes wide with fear. Duo hunched down to help his son up. “The Barrier is broken.”
“Barrier?” asked Adua.
Quatre, who hadn’t been focusing on anything around him, looked to his daughter. Hanna had been looking around, frightened by the distant howling. “Sweetie, I want you to go pick out a movie for all of us to see, ok? One of the Maquancs will go with you.”
“Abdoul.” Rasid ordered. Abdoul quickly obeyed and went with Hanna to find a movie. Quatre stood tall and tried his best to ignore the horror his heart could feel. He looked at Solo.
“Explain everything to them. I never told them about your father.”
Solo nodded and told them. He told them about the angelic realm, his parents, the origin of the War, Michael and Lucifer, and explained what was happening now. When he finished the three men stared at him. None of them questioned what he said, but they were shaken by what they were told. Hanna skipped into the room.
“Look, look, Daddy, The Last Unicorn!”
They closed all the window and doors and played the movie. They tried to pretend what was happening wasn’t happening. Every urge they had has heroes told them to leave and help as many people as they could, but they knew there was no way to stop anything. Hanna clung to her fathers carefully and Solo sat in between Heero and Duo with his head resting on Duo’s shoulder. Rasid took Abdoul aside to explain to him all that he heard. When they returned Abdoul eyed Solo cautiously.
The movie ended and Hanna fell asleep with her head on Trowa’s chest. Trowa poked softly Quatre so he could see this as well.
“I want her to sleep with us tonight,” Quatre whispered.
Trowa nodded and they carefully moved to stand. Trowa took Hanna in his arms, careful not to wake her.

Michael led Luc into the house by his hand. They felt His presence immediately and looked up. God Incarnate stood in Michael’s living room and looked at them with green eyes that lacked Luc’s charm. The angels froze quickly, this was a scene that hadn’t happened since the war, but they were so familiar with it:
*
Before the War in Heaven, Luc and Michael had lived in their own all-white house. Michael would cook in the massive kitchen. They slept in a well-furnished bedroom. Later, Luc would copy that room with the black stone of Hell. Each room in the house was huge, in human standards, and it suited the angels. Theirs was also the most sacred house, cherished deeply by the other angels. God would visit it; appear to Michael unlike he ever showed Himself to any other angels. Michael was their leader for this reason. However, they did not understand why, and Michael was good at hiding secrets, including what the Love of God really meant to him.
The night before the Plan of Humans was presented, Michael had prepared dinner. The married angels had not been expecting God; He had visited three days in a row and had told them he would not be returning this night. They were enjoying being together. Luc sat with his long legs draped over Michael’s lap. They were on the white couch, and Michael carefully fed Luc the meal.
“This is really good,” Luc said through giggles.
“Thank-you,” Michael answered before putting another spoonful to his lips. He accepted it and laughed again. “I feel like your child, not your husband!”
Michael laughed, “Well…maybe if you’re good, I’ll spank you later.”
Luc looked at him, shocked for a moment. “I can not believe you just said that!” He declared and playfully slapped his husband.
Suddenly they both froze. They felt His Presence. They turned their heads to look over the couch. There He was, standing behind the sofa and looking very calmly at them. Quickly they both stood. Michael set the food on the stone white table by the couch.
“My Lord,” Michael addressed Him.
“Michael…” There was a small pause. Luc looked at them both, his lips a thin, pale line. “Come,” He said simple and then started to go into the bedroom. Michael moved to follow.
“No.” Luc protested. God quickly turned to face him.
“What?!” He demanded.
“Lucifer…” Michael warned quietly. Luc looked at Michael, then back to the Lord.
“Well?” God asked, His eyebrow raised.
“How can you keep doing this to him?” Luc rushed out. Then, surprised he had even been brave enough to say that, he continued, “Forgive me, Lord, but I don’t understand how you can say you love him and yet ask these things of him.”
“Luc!” Michael cried out, shocked, “My Lord, forgive him. He--”
God raised a hand to quiet Michael. “I do love him.” He said, His voice dangerous, His eyes were inflamed. “I love him as only I, his Creator, can love him. And you’re right, Lucifer, you don’t understand. The other angels hold this home sacred because I visit it! And if they knew everything they would hold that room sacred as well!” He pointed to the bedroom.
“Oh really, so why don’t we tell them everything?” Luc asked defiantly.
“No.” Michael said simply.
“See? He’s ashamed of this!” Luc said, angry.
Faster than the eyes of any angel could see God was standing before Luc. He raised one hand high above His head and brought it down on Luc’s face. The force of the slap threw him to the couch and the crack echoed off the walls. God’s handprint was emblazoned on Luc’s cheek in a reddish-gold color. It quickly formed a dark black and purple bruise under his left eye. For a while God and Lucifer stared at each other angrily.
“He may be your husband, Lucifer, and you’re lucky I allowed that at all! But he was mine before this, and he will be mine after this! You agreed to that before the marriage and you will not go back on your word now! You have no idea who you are dealing with, child! Don’t pretend you can possibly grasp what I am! I created you; I can destroy you just the same!” He let that hang in the air a moment before He turned back to Michael, “I’ll wait for you.” Then He went quickly into the bedroom.
Michael rushed to Luc. “You shouldn’t question Him like that,” he whispered to his husband. Luc turned to look at him. The bruise was completely formed by now, his green eyes scared and worried.
“And I’m just supposed to sit back and let Him do these things to you?”
“Yes.” There was a pause.
“Fine. Go to Him, He’s waiting.” Michael kissed his husband’s forehead.
“I love you,” the archangel whispered.
Luc smiled weakly, “I love you too.” Then he watched Michael disappear into the bedroom.
Later that night, although not one of them knows how long, God emerged from the bedroom. Luc was still sitting in the spot Michael had left him. God strolled by him, and looked at him. After sitting under his Creator’s stare for a few minutes Luc finally looked up at Him. His smile made Luc’s stomach lunge.
“That won’t do,” God said quietly and reached to touch the bruise under Luc’s eye. Luc recoiled, but God’s fingers made contact with his cheek. The bruise quickly disappeared. “I made you two too perfect for each other. And you…you, my Son of the Morning. You are resisting My Will! I have to fix that.” Then He left. Luc didn’t even pause to think about that. His first and only thought was Michael. He quickly got up and went into the bedroom.
Michael was lying on the bed, staring at the ceiling. The white sheet covered up to his waist. Luc cautiously moved to the bed and climbed onto it. Michael’s blue eyes still were glaring at the ceiling. “Thank you,” he whispered and Luc didn’t ask ‘what for’, he knew. He moved closer and placed his head on Michael’s chest, wrapped his arm around Michael’s waist. Michael put his arms around Luc.
“I love you,” Luc whispered.
“I love you too,” Michael responded and Luc felt Michael kiss his hair. They laid together for what seemed like hours, until finally Michael motioned to get up. “I need to take a shower. Could you change the sheets and then join me?”
Luc sighed and then nodded.
*
Now the Lord stood before them again. The Spirit moved in front of them. God stepped back as to not be near the strange human.
“You seem to be afraid of something, Lord.” Michael said cynically.
The Lord’s face showed no emotion, “Michael you have disobeyed me. But I do not blame you. You have been tainted by that traitor.”
“Shut-up!” Michael yelled.
“I must fix that, my dear sweet angel. I must teach my Accuser a lesson.” Then before anyone could react, both Luc and God disappeared.

A bodiless soul traveled to find a certain human and found him.
~~
“Trowa?” Quatre asked.
“I’m fine Quatre.” Trowa was sitting up by the window, out of bed. “I was just thinking about…everything.” Trowa looked at his husband. “Just go back to sleep love, I’ll join you soon.” Quatre lay back down and closed his eyes.
“I’ll be waiting.” Trowa watched as Quatre fell back to sleep.
Trowa smiled and looked at the two bodies on the bed. His husband and his daughter. He quietly stood and moved from the room. He crept down to the kitchen. Duo and Heero were in it, talking about Solo. They looked up at Trowa when he came in.
“Relax guys; I’m not heading to the roof. I’m just getting something to drink.” Duo smiled and watched as Trowa got a glass out of the cupboard.
“Hanna and Quatre sleeping well?” Duo asked.
“Yeah,” Trowa answered. He filled the glass with water from the fridge “Solo?”
“Sleeping tightly, although it took him some convincing. He really doesn’t like this house and he can feel all the Hell going on. Damn, I hate feeling useless!” Duo slapped his hand on the counter.
“I know what you mean.” Heero said.
Trowa took a drink of the water. “I guess all we can do is…is…” his vision blurred and his head swayed. An evil soul possessed him.
“Trowa?” Duo asked, worried.
The glass of water fell to the ground and shattered.

Lucifer looked around himself. He was in a massive room; he fought back a nauseous feeling. He realized he was dressed in a simple black robe, with nothing underneath. God Incarnate stood before him completely naked.
“Where am I?” Luc asked.
God just looked at him a moment. “Heaven…well a room in Heaven. A room in which one million years passes in one second.” His face became evil and angry. “You need to learn who is God, Lucifer. You need to learn who has power. You need to learn who Michael belongs too!”
“Michael? All you brought Michael was pain and shame!” He was surprised he was so bold, even as the terror of what was going to happen to him overcame him.
“Shame? What do you know of shame, Lucifer? Even when I punished you, you felt no shame for your crimes.”
“What crimes?!”
“You have disobeyed me! You have ruined my original Plan! You created the need for a New Plan! You started the War! You feel no shame Lucifer, you feel nothing expect want! Want for my Michael! I am God, you little Devil! I AM, I AM! I am the Creator! I can destroy the things I’ve made. I can hurt the Created!”
God Incarnate lunged at Lucifer, so quickly Lucifer had no chance of ever escaping. Lucifer was thrown to the ground and he cried out in pain.
“You need shame, my Work of Art. You need to realize who I am, how much power I have over you…and Michael.”
The hands of God slithered down Luc’s body. He lifted the black robe to Luc’s waist. Luc cried out and tried to escape. But God’s brutish hands easily overcame the struggle. God positioned Himself carefully. His lips were right by Luc’s ear, his voice was thick with angry lust. “You took something that was mine, Lucifer! You destroyed something that belonged to me and me alone.” God pushed back Luc’s blonde hair with his tongue. Luc closed his eyes tightly and began to sob. With every fiber of his existence he prayed that he was anywhere but there.
“Who are you praying to, Lucifer?” God asked cruelly. “I am God, remember?!” He then thrust himself deep and harsh inside Luc. The penetration went far deeper than Luc’s body. The pain radiated through his being.
And so, on
the floor of the
