4th Quarter!!!

Mary's cast comes off. Play in a week. People who were not talking still aren't talking.

 

Lunch

*Quietness*

Kyle comes over to the table and Heero swears Duo growled.

 

Kyle: Hey Guys!

 

Tabitha: Kyle can I talk to you?

 

Kyle: Sure.

 

They walk away from the table.

 

Tabitha: Kyle, I told you we can’t be friends.

 

Kyle: (whines) Why not?

 

Tabitha: I told you why. Now please leave me alone.

 

After school

 

Tabitha is doing homework but by the end of it all she wrote was a bunch of Trowa's. Then she asked Melissa to proofread it.

 

Melissa: Ah, Tabitha?

 

Tabitha: Hm?

 

Melissa: Remember when you said I was obsessive because of my shrine.

 

Tabitha: Yea.

 

Melissa: Well did you read this because, dude, this is worse.

 

Tabitha takes the paper and reads it.

 

Tabitha: Guess I miss him more than I thought.

 

Melissa: Then tell him.

 

Tabitha: What do I say, Trowa I forgive you let's talk?

 

Melissa: That will work.

 

Tabitha: I will if you tell Duo you like him.

 

Melissa: Then we will be old, gray n lonely.

 

*Play Night-

Trowa, Heero and Wufei sit in the front row. Bobbie comes and sees Wufei. They begin to talk about their Sisterhood class!

 

Bobbie: It's a really cool class! I thought that all that hippie stuff would get boring, but I really like it!

 

Wufei: It's O.K. Miss Bl-

 

Duo: Shh! It's starting!

 

Relena walks in as curtain rises and Heero makes Wufei move so she can sit next to him.

 

Wufei: But she is the one-

 

 Mr. Carson: Hello there every one! Thank you for coming to our play. I hope you enjoy yourself. There is food being sold right out side that door.    

 

Sc. Callie tells Mandy

 

Mary: Mandy Dill?

 

Melissa: Yes?

 

Mary: May I come in, Mrs. Dill I'm afraid I have some bad news.

 

Melissa: Is James hurt?

 

Mary: No, but he is having an affair with my sister.

 

Melissa: What?! How dare you!

 

Mary: I'm sorry but if you-

 

She takes a letter out of her coat.

 

Melissa: Get out of my house.

 

She points towards the door.

 

Mary: Just read this!

 

She hands letter to Melissa, who grabs it, and throws it in the trash.

 

Mary: It's in his handwriting, to my sister.

 

She leaves. After a second Melissa takes the letter from the trash and reads it. After she is done she cries. To the audience it looks like Mandy sees her husband's handwriting.

 

Sc.-James and Jane

 

Duo: I'm saying I don't want you.

 

Tabitha: Then get out.

 

He moves to door.

 

Duo: I'm sorry.

 

He leaves. Tabitha begins to cry (Trowa sees not all of the pain is make-believe) Duo is in the hallway. Tabitha finds the prop gun. Lights in  Jane’s Apartment go off. A gunshot is heard. Duo winces. Lights go out.

 

Tabitha walks to Trowa.

 

Tabitha: Trowa, I forgive you. Can we talk?

 

Trowa nods and the take off to Tabitha's room.

 

Sc. Last, James and Mandy

 

Duo: I love you, Mandy, not her!

 

Melissa: I don't believe you.

 

He grabs her and kisses her sweetly.

 

Duo: Now do you believe me?

 

Then Melissa does something unexpected she puts her hand on Duo's neck and kisses him passionately. To the audience it looks like Mandy is trying to convince herself not to leave. As her lips leave his she pulls herself away. She is crying.

 

Melissa: No, I don't.

 

She leaves the stage and uses backstage doors to head towards her dorm. Duo stands for a second with his lips puckered out, as if he is still being kissed. Then he realizes that the play is still going on. He says his last line than heads for the door. He sees Quatre.

 

Duo: Quatre_

 

Quatre: She is heading towards her dorm, if you hurry you might catch her.

 

Meanwhile-T's room

 

Trowa: I'm sorry.

 

Tabitha: No, I'm sorry. It's just that my drawings are how I express myself.

 

Walks into Melissa's room, Trowa follows Tabitha who walks to the wardrobe opens it to reveal all of Melissa's black clothing, along with a book named "Obsession". She pulls the book and the wardrobe moves to reveal the shrine. Trowa is surprised by what he sees, but says nothing. Tabitha knows he won't say any thing to Duo, which is good because if he did Melissa would kill her. She takes her drawing books out and moves the wardrobe back. She and Trowa go back to her room. Trowa closes the door behind him. She opens the 1st one and hands it to Trowa. He tosses it to the ground and kisses her. (Romantic type music) <Thought we had given up music-didn't you? >

 

Meanwhile-

Melissa reaches the dorms Duo at a close follow.

 

Duo: Mel!

 

Melissa races to her dorm.

 

Meanwhile (I like that word)

Back stage

 

Mr. Carson: Wonderful! Wonderful!

 

Quatre: Mr. Carson, Mel and-

 

Mr. Carson: Not now, time to take your bows.

 

Before Quatre can say anything Mr. Carson drags him to the stage.

 

Mr. Carson: Quatre where are Melissa and Duo?

 

Quatre: That's what I tried to tell you, they left.

 

Mr. Carson: Well, you and Mary go get them.

 

They leave the theater.

 

Quatre: Let's check your room.

 

Mary: My-(catching on) O.K.

 

Meanwhile-

Melissa makes it to her room and Duo follows her in.

 

Melissa: Get out of my room, Duo.

 

Duo: No.

 

Melissa: Then I'll leave!

 

She tries to go out the door, but Duo blocks her way.

 

Duo: No, not until you tell me what that was about!

 

Melissa: Fine then!

 

She opens the door to Tabitha's room. Tabitha and Trowa are on the floor kissing, they look up when Melissa walks in.

 

Melissa: Sorry T, but I have to use your door.

 

Tabitha: My door?

 

Duo: Oh, no you don't, Mel!

 

He runs to block Tabitha's door. He looks at Trowa and Tabitha

 

Duo: Oh, come on Trowa. You could get better than her. She kissed Kyle!

 

Trowa: You what?

 

Melissa: I guess I will have to use Mary's door.

 

She goes to the door that leads to Mary's room. She opens the door, than closes it quickly.

 

Duo: No way they were kissing!

 

Trowa: That was out of character.

 

Quatre opens Mary's door.

 

Quatre: What are you guys doing?

 

Melissa rushes into Mary's room. Duo follows her.

 

Melissa: I need out!

 

Duo: No you don't!

 

Trowa: You kissed Kyle?

 

Tabitha: No he kissed me! And I slapped him afterward, too! If Duo had stayed he would have seen that! Because no matter how mad I get I will never cheat on the man I love because I'm not the cheating type.

 

Trowa: What did you say ?

 

Tabitha: I’m not the—

 

Trowa: No, before that.

 

Tabitha: The man I love. I love you Trowa Barton.

 

He kisses her. Melissa rushes into the room closesly followed by Duo.

 

Melissa: D$# you Duo!

 

Duo: So be it! But I’m not letting you run away form me.

 

He pulls her to him.

 

Duo: I’ve been so blind, Mel. Please don’t let it be to late.

 

She kisses him.

 

Quatre: What the heck.

 

He kisses Mary. Bobbie opens the door to see Melissa and Duo standing in front of it.

 

Bobbie: D-D-Duo?

 

Duo and Mel stop kissing to look at her.

 

Bobbie: How could you? I am so popular and you leave me for that!

 

She points at Melissa.

 

Bobbie: And I was so close to taking you away from your trashy friends and molding you into a real man!

 

Duo: What?!

 

Bobbie: Come here right now DUO MAXWELL!

 

Duo: That's my name don't wear it out.

 

He closes the door on her face.

 

Duo: I never liked her any way.

 

Kisses Melissa again.

Heero and Relena enter the room to find 3 couples kissing.

 

Heero: As much as I want to join you all, you need to take you bows.

 

Melissa, Mary, Quatre and Duo: SHOOT!

 

Hurry to theater and take their bows.

 

*Later that night-T's room*

Trowa and Tabitha are on Tabitha's bed. Mary and Quatre are sitting on the floor holding hands. Duo is lying comfortably on Melissa's lap, who is in her "spot". Relena is sitting on the sofa, with perfect posture, next to Heero, showing no sign of even knowing him. And Wufei is also on the sofa.

 

Tabitha: So, we finally met the great Relena. See Trowa I told you she wasn't an ax murder.

 

There is a knock at the door. It's Kyle. Duo and Trowa grunt loudly.

 

Tabitha: What is it now Kyle?

 

Kyle: I just wanted to tell you that you did a great job.

 

Tabitha: Thanks. Now will you please stop trying to form a relationship with me?

 

Kyle: But-

 

Tabitha: O.K. Kyle, now I'm going to get angry. Will you  leave me alone!. I don't like you. I will never like you.!!

 

Kyle: How dare you! Just wait till  my sister, Tess, hears about this. She is going to get her army to smash you. She's smart. She has already found the Gundams twice!

 

The Boys: TWICE!

 

Kyle: Yea, so there!

 

He leaves.

 

Duo: To the training room!

 

The boys stand up.

 

Quatre: Where are we taking them now?

 

Duo: We must take the cheerleaders to the landeray department, so the can he comfortable (Pauses and shakes his head) That didn't sound right.

 

Boys leave.

 

Relena: So, you girls want to help me?

 

M, M & T: Do what?

 

Relena: Help me find the Gundams. I need a way for Heero to say he loves me.

 

Mary: Need?

 

Relena: Well, want. I mean it would be awful cute. Come on if that girl Tess could find the Gundams, so can we.

 

Mary: Tess has an army. We don't.

 

Relena: We do have the Sanq Kingdom.

 

M, M & T: O.K.

 

Tabitha: Let's hunt for Gundams.

 

So Tabitha, Mary, Melissa and Relena began searching for possible places the landeray department could be.

 

*Lunch someday-- 

Mary and Quatre are next to each other, holding hands. Trowa and Tabitha are next to each other, holding hands. Melissa is sitting on Duo's lap. Relena comes and Heero makes Wufei move.

 

Wufei: But she sat next to me!

 

Relena: The cow has a new bell.

 

Melissa: What shoe size?

 

Relena: The dump.

 

Tabitha: How fat is the time?

 

Relena: Jupiter.

 

Melissa: Fire?

 

Relena: In the hole.

 

Mary: Wingspan?

 

Relena: Nataku.

 

Wufei: What?!

 

Relena: Five footed cow.

 

Tabitha: What about the ballerinas?

 

Mary: Take the tutus!

 

Melissa: One pink. No test on test day.

 

Mary: Millennium Falcon.

 

Relena: Bone!

 

Mary: I wide shut?

 

Tabitha: No, after Gundam time.

 

Duo: I don't get it.

 

Melissa pats his head.

 

Melissa: That's O.K. baby.

 

Heero: Do I want to know?

 

Wufei: What about Nataku?

 

Trowa: Gundam time?

 

Quatre: Ballerinas?

 

Relena: Well-

 

Duo: Let me guess  the cat is a dog!?

 

Relena: No. I have to go.

 

Duo: Oh, before you go, did you know that your brother married Noin?

 

Relena: Duh! It was a beautiful wedding and fun too.

 

Duo: Grr!

 

Tabitha: Look, you could fry an egg Duo's head!

 

Relena gets up to leave but leans to whisper something in Heero's ear. He whispers something back in her ear and she smiles. To the surprise of everyone he kisses her (really it was just a peck on the lips-but hey still a surprise, right?)

 

Duo: Well, well, well now everyone here knows how to kiss, even Quatre and Mary!

 

Mary: That's not the 1st time we kissed. It's just the 1st time we got caught!

 

Tabitha: No fair!

 

Duo: You guys act like I plan it!

 

Trowa: Knowing you, Duo, you do plan it!

 

Duo: (innocently) I don’t!

 

Melissa: I believe you Duo.

 

Duo: Thanks Mel! (Kisses her)

 

*That night: 10:00 p.m.*

Boys room

 

Duo: Something is up with those girls!

 

Heero: What do you think it is?

 

Wufei: They are smarter than we think.

 

Everyone looks at him.

 

Duo: Aliens have taken over you!

 

Wufei: Well we have to remember, what is the one thing they have wanted to see since we met them?

 

Quatre: The Gundams. They have always wanted to see the Gundams!

 

Outside Relena, Melissa, Mary and Tabitha sneak up to the boys' room.

 

Tabitha: Who would ever guess they all had the same room?

 

Relena: This device should lock the door until we come and unlock it. Not even Heero will be able to unlock it (Sweet smile with evil eyes)

 

She puts black box on door.

 

Wufei: And what does Relena want?

 

Quatre: The Gundams.

 

Duo: All because Heero won't say "I Love You"!

 

Wufei: They make a dangerous group.

 

Relena pushes a button on the device.

 

Duo: So we should watch our backs.

 

The device beeps.

 

Heero: Did you hear that?

 

Duo: Hear what?

 

He gets off his bed.

 

Heero: The door.

 

Duo: Ooookkkaaayyy. Now you are hearing the door! Man, you are one messed up guy!

 

Heero: No, a noise from the door.

 

Heero gets to the door and tries to open it. It won't open.

 

Heero: It's locked. Did any of you lock it?

 

None of the boys had.

 

Duo: Stop bellyaching and just unlock it, Heero.

 

Heero tries. The door will not unlock.

 

Heero: It won't unlock!

 

Trowa, whose bed is closest to door, gets up and tries to open the door. It still won't open.

 

Heero: Duo give me a bobby pin.

 

Duo: I don't have a-

 

Heero: Duo stop trying to hide you quarks and just give it to me.

 

Duo: FINE!

 

Duo reluctantly reaches up to his hair and pulls out a bobby pin walks to Heero and hands it to him. Heero begins to try and pick the lock.

 

Heero: I heard it again!

 

Wufei: Where?

 

Heero gets up and walks towards the window.

 

Heero: The window.

 

He peers out he window just in time to see a figure in black disappear in the darkness. He tries  to open the window.

 

Duo: Let me guess, it's locked.

 

Heero tries again and fails.

 

Heero: Yep.

 

Relena, Mary, Melissa and Tabitha walk into an abandoned mobile suit factory.

 

Melissa: This place is cool.

 

Relena: Well if the Gundams are here they probably wouldn't be in the main rooms, they aren't exactly travel size.

 

Relena, Melissa, Mary and Tabitha search the whole factory but do not find the Gundams.

 

Relena: I was sure they would be here!

 

Melissa: Well back to square one.

 

Tabitha: At least we know they aren't here.

 

Mary: Man! We have been here for six hours! Wonder if the boys are still up.

 

Duo sits lazily on the bed.

 

Duo: Heero, just give up. You've been trying to open that door for six hours.

 

Heero: An enemy has locked us up. How can you pretend this is nothing?

 

Duo: You know, for the "the prefect solider" you don't pay attention, do you? It was the girls! Relena has corrupted Mel into doing things like this.

 

Heero: They had always been interested in the Gundams.

 

Duo: (Yawn) Yea, but they had plenty of chances to follow us and didn't. It wasn't until the met Relena that they did any thing more than talk about it. And all because you won't say "I love you".

 

Heero: Can you?

 

Duo: Sure. I love you.

 

Heero: No I mean to Melissa.

 

Duo: I'm not sure I love Melissa.

 

Heero: I'm not sure I love Relena.

 

Duo: Heero, you've had these feeling for her for three whole years, don't tell me they haven't grown  into more than "warm and fuzzy."

 

He lies back on his bed.

 

Duo: I'm going to bed, you do what you want.

 

Duo fell asleep. Heero looks at his friends. Duo was the only one who stayed up this long. Heero finally allows himself to yawn. They were probably right, it was probably just the girls. He started to climb into bed.  Relena, Mary, Melissa and Tabitha tiptoed down the hallway. They make it to the boys' room. Relena puts a drop of a chemical on the device. It dissolves into nothingness. Tabitha, Mary and Melissa head for their rooms. Relena goes to the boys' window and puts another drop on the device they had put on the window. She dares a peek into the room. She can barely Heero drifting off to sleep. She sighs and looks at him for a few more moments, then slips off back to her school.

*Morning-

Heero wakes up, all the other boys are eating. He begins to try and pick the door. Duo starts to laugh.

 

Heero: What's so funny?

 

Duo: You. May I try?

 

Heero steps a side as Duo walks to the door and opens it.

 

Heero: (confused) What?

 

Duo: It was open when we got up. How else could we get the food?

 

Sunday-12:00 p.m.

Boys come over to find the girls dressed up.

 

Duo: Wow! Mel's in a dress, voluntarily!

 

Quatre: Why are you dressed up?

 

Tabitha: We are going to church.

 

Duo: Haven't gone before.

 

Mary: Sure, but that was before Harry came back.

 

Quatre: Harry?

 

Melissa: Old friend of the family. He has been on a mission for two years. Today is his first day back.

 

Duo: Mission? Like our missions?

 

Melissa, Mary and Tabitha laugh.

 

Tabitha: No. This mission is when a young man or woman from our church goes away from home for two years and tries to convert people.

 

Duo: (disappointed) Oh, so there is no fighting involved?

 

Melissa: None.

 

Quatre: So you haven't seen Harry for two years?

 

Mary: Yea.

 

Duo: Not even a little fighting?

 

Tabitha sits on her vanity and starts to put on makeup.

 

Tabitha: No, Duo. No fighting at all!

 

Duo: No fighting whatsoever?

 

Tabitha: Only slamming of doors in ones face.

 

Duo: That's it? Not even-

 

Tabitha: NO!

 

Duo: But you didn't even-

 

Melissa puts her arms around his waist and puts her head on his shoulder.

 

Melissa: (lightly) Drop it Duo. There is no fighting in this kind of mission.

 

Duo: Oh, O.K.

 

Tabitha stands and checks her watch.

 

Tabitha: It's 12:10. We have 50 min.

 

Mary: I will take us 20 min. to get there.

 

Melissa: And we want to get there early.

 

Tabitha: So we have 20 min.

 

They look over themselves, making sure they are ready. Duo opens his mouth to speak.

 

Tabitha: No Duo. Absolutely no fighting.

 

Duo: I know. I was going to ask if we could come.

 

Heero: I don't do churches.

 

Duo: Come on, Heero. It will be fun.

 

Tabitha: You guys, in a Mormon Church?

 

She raises her eyebrow and looks at her cousins. They all start to laugh. Their laughter makes the boys make a silent agreement 'We are going if they like it or not!'

 

Duo: Come on, Mel covert us.

 

The laughter stops as Melissa looks at Duo. She looks at her family and they start laughing again.

 

Trowa: I don't see what's so funny.

 

They laugh harder

 

Heero: They are worse than Duo.

 

Duo: Yea. (Realizes what Heero said) Hey!

 

They laugh harder.

 

Duo: You know, if you don't take us, we will follow you, but we won't behave!

 

The girls stop laughing has they think about the damage the boys could do.

 

Melissa: Fine you can come. If you dress nicely and if you behave!

 

Boys head towards door.

 

Duo: Give us 5 min.

 

Tabitha checks her watch.

 

Tabitha: You have 4!

 

Four min. later the boys return, dressed up and ready for church.

 

Tabitha: What have we gotten ourselves into?

 

Walking into church.

 

Melissa: O.K, shake hands and introduce yourselves by first and last names.

 

Tabitha: Be quite and bow your head to pray.

 

Mary: Take only one piece of bead and one drink of water. Got that Duo?

 

Duo: Hey!

 

Melissa: When people sing, no matter how good, don't clap.

 

They walk in. Bishop Frost walks to greet them. He shakes a hand with each person when he says their names.

 

Bishop Frost: Sister Anthony. Sister Anthony. Sister Chesonis. Very good to see you again. And who are these gentlemen?

 

Duo reaches out to shake the bishop's hand.

 

Duo: Hi, I'm Melissa's boyfriend.

 

Melissa: (Under breath) Oh, no.

 

Bishop: Really? I'm sure her parents will be happy to meet you.

 

Melissa: Excuse us Bishop.

 

She pulls Duo away.

 

Melissa: Duo, I kind of didn't tell my parents about you.

 

Duo: Really?

 

Melissa: Well, my mother is still in denial that my entire room is black, and that I haven't been to church since I started school. Our relationship has taken a turn for the worse and I want things to cool down before I tell her I have a boyfriend. She would only start to worry about who you are and she would probably snoop in places she doesn't need to be. Understand?

 

Duo: Yea.

 

Melissa: So please, introduce yourself as "Duo Maxwell".

 

Duo: O.K.

 

Melissa: Hi Sister Hyashi!

 

Sister H: Hi Melissa!

 

Sister H. comes over and shakes Duo's hand.

 

Duo: I'm Melissa's boyfriend.

 

Bishop Frost walks to Heero and extends his hand.

 

Heero: I don't shake.

 

Bishop: Oh.

 

He takes his hand back. Wufei comes forward and shakes the bishop's hand.

 

Wufei: My name is Chang Wufei. Call me Wufei.

 

Bishop: (Smiles) Hello Wufei.

 

Quatre shakes the bishop's hand.

 

Quatre: I'm Quatre Raberba Winner.

 

Bishop: Winner?

 

Quatre: Yep.

 

Tabitha: This is Trowa Barton.

 

Trowa stares blankly. The bishop leave to talk to someone else and the group walks into the chapel. They find Harry.

 

Harry: Hey guys!

 

Harry hugs the girls. Duo comes forward to shake Harry's hand.

 

Duo: Hi I'm-

 

Melissa: Duo Maxwell!

 

Quatre and Wufei shake hands. Heero and Trowa stare. Harry doesn't even try to shake hands.

 

Tabitha: This is Trowa and Heero.

 

Harry: Hi. Look, guys, I gotta go.

 

M, M & T: Bye Harry.

 

Duo: Should we be jealous?

 

Sister Prittyman comes over. She hugs Tabitha.

 

Sister P: Tabitha, I'm so glad you made it!

 

Tabitha: Sister Prittyman this is my boyfriend Trowa Barton.

 

Sister P: Hi.

 

Trowa sees this is important to Tabitha and decides to be nice.

 

Trowa: Hi.

 

Sister P: I should check on Greg and the baby. Bye Tabitha.

 

She leaves. Becky comes.

 

Becky: Tabitha! (Spots boys) Can I talk to you?

 

She drags Tabitha into hall.

 

Becky: Oh my gosh! They are so cute!

 

Tabitha looks back at Trowa.

 

Tabitha: I know.

 

Becky: I wonder what their names are.

 

Tabitha: Heero, Duo, Trowa, Quatre and Wufei. (Becky looks stunned) They go to my school. Trowa is my boyfriend.

 

Becky: You suck. Well introduce me to the one with the long hair.

 

Tabitha: Duo Maxwell. Melissa's boyfriend.

 

Becky: (* Grr! *) The blonde one, then.

 

Tabitha: Quatre Raberba Winner. Mary's boyfriend.

 

Becky: (* Grr! *) Well, the one with the pointy hair.

 

Tabitha: Trowa Barton. My boyfriend.

 

Becky: (* Grr! *) Then the other one with brown hair.

 

Tabitha: Heero Yuy. Relena Peacecraft's boyfriend.

 

Becky: (* Grr! *) Well-

 

Tabitha: Look my aunt, uncle and mom. Gotta go!

 

She heads back into the chapel and walks with the rest of the group towards Hal Anthony, Rochelle Anthony and Victoria Chesonis.

 

Melissa: Hi Daddy! (Hugs him) Hi Mom. (Small wave) Hi Aunt Victoria! This is my friend, Duo. Say hi Duo.

 

Duo: Hi I'm-

 

Melissa: And this is Heero, Trowa, Quatre and Wufei!

 

Wufei and Quatre shake hands. Duo stares at Wufei.

 

Duo: (Almost yelling) Wufei has been taken over by aliens!

 

Wufei: Shh! No I haven't it's just that my teacher Cat-

 

Mary: We should take our seats.

 

They take up an entire middle row. Sitting like: Wufei, Heero, Duo, Melissa, Tabitha, Trowa, Quatre, Mary.

Sacrament Meeting begins. Prayer-All bow heads but Heero. Song-No one sings but Quatre. Ward business is conducted. Time for sacrament (scary doomed type music). The prayer is said (all bowed heads but Heero) and the bread is passed out. When it gets to Duo he stuffs many of the pieces in his pockets. Melissa elbows him and he places them back, head down. Wufei and Heero take pieces they know he didn't take. Prayer, all bow head but Heero-Time for water. It gets to Duo; he takes one little glass. Melissa sighs of relief (TOO SOON!!) Duo holds the water, looks at Heero, at the water, then back at Heero, and dumps the whole thing on Heero. Who stands from the shock (his shirt socked) and everyone looks. Heero makes his way out of the pew row, but comes back.

 

Heero: Where is the bathroom?

 

Duo: I'll take you!

 

Heero: No.

 

He walks off. Harry's talk begins.

 

Harry: Well that was interesting!

 

Melissa covers her head with her hand. After Harry's talk the choir sang. It was beautiful. Afterwards Quatre stands up and claps. Mary pulls him down.

 

Quatre: (Whispers) Well they were really good!

 

The entire meeting the only one who kept all the rules was Wufei.

 

*After-

 

Tabitha: Want to risk Sunday School?

 

Mary: You kiddin'?

 

After saying good-bye to Harry and making sure he had their numbers, they left.

 

*Back at school

 

Duo: That was fun can we go again?

 

M, M & T: NO!

 

Next day-Period One

Office T.A. comes into Mrs. Peacecraft's room.

 

T.A: We have a visitor for the class.

 

Dr. J walks in. Tabitha jumps up and hugs him.

 

Tabitha: Uncle J!

 

Heero: Uncle?!

 

Lucrezia: O.K. Tabitha have a seat. (To Dr. J) How may I help you?

 

Dr. J: I was wondering if I could take some of your students out of school for the day.

 

Lucrezia: Sure. Which ones?

 

Dr. J: Melissa, Mary, Duo, Trowa, Heero, Quatre, Wufei, Heero and of course my niece Tabitha.

 

Lucrezia: Wow, half of the class! But O.K.

 

The main characters leave the room.

 

Tabitha: Where are we going, Uncle J?

 

Dr. J: Well-

 

Heero: Wait, I'm a little confused. He's your Uncle?!

 

Tabitha: Yea, M & M and I used spend every summer with him in space.

 

Heero: How come I never saw you?

 

Dr. J: Tell you later. Now where are your Gu-

 

Duo puts his hand over Dr. J's mouth.

 

Duo: "Cheerleaders".

 

Duo removes his hand.

 

Dr. J: Good code name. Where are the cheerleaders?

 

Wufei: Later.

 

He gestures towards the girls.

 

Dr. J: Them. (Laughs) They helped me build Heero's cheerleaders.

 

Heero: What?

 

Dr. J: Yea, they are really brilliant merchants. And inventors.

 

Duo: And we thought they wouldn't know their way around a monkey wrench!

 

Dr. J: Now, where-

 

Duo: That's how they knew about us!

 

Dr. J: Yes, now take me to-

 

Mary: (With smirk on her face) The landeray department.

 

Trowa holds Tabitha's hand. Dr. J gives Trowa a look. Trowa lets go of Tabitha's hand.

 

Dr. J: I'm just messing with your mind. I think Tabitha has picked a fine boyfriend. Speaking of boyfriends, Heero how is Relena.

 

Heero turns red.

 

Duo: (Now holding Melissa's hand) So, Heero can blush!

 

Quatre: Nice to know I'm not the only one.

 

He takes hold of Mary's hand.

 

They go to the old factory that the girls had searched before. Duo kicks a tire. Heero jumps. Quatre pulls a rope. Wufei grabs a handle and Trowa yells "cheerleaders". The room is filled with a hot pink light and the Gundams appear.

 

Quatre: I picked the color.

 

Mary: Quatre, Hon, we need to talk.

 

Heero: Dr. J why did you want the girls here?

 

Dr. J: The enemy was with the Gundams five min. before you boys got there.

 

Duo: Hey! They-

 

Dr. J: I don't blame you boys, but I do need to make sure that the Gundams have not been tampered with. I know you boys know the Gundams well, but it's nice to get a second opinion, why not let some of the makers of the Gundams check them out. You don't mind do you boys?

 

Boys: No (though regretfully)

 

Dr. J: Well then girls, get to work.

 

The girls walk hungrily towards the Gundams.

 

Tabitha: I get Deathscythe Hell.

 

Melissa: I get Nataku.

 

Mary: Wing ZERO.

 

Melissa: You would! T you want to take Heavyarms?

 

Tabitha: Whoever finishes first should, same with Sandrock.

 

Mary: Smart.

 

The girls set to work. The boys were amazed by their knowledge. About two hours after they had gotten there-

 

Tabitha: Ah HA!

 

She was looking at Heavyarms.

 

Melissa: What?

 

Tabitha: Booby trap. Left drive system. It's designed to explode prom night. Those JREKS!

 

By now M & M had climbed onto Heavyarms and the boys had walked over.

 

 

Trowa: What?!

 

Melissa: Looks like if you remove it, it will explode in your hands, unless you cut the right wire.

 

Trowa: What?

 

Tabitha: Don't worry Trowa, I almost missed it. We should check the other Gundams.

 

They check the other Gundams and sure enough all of the Gundams had a device of their own.

 

Tabitha: (She is on Heavyarms) This must have been part of Tess's plan.

 

Mary: (Sandrock) But why? What does Tess have against the Gundams?

 

Melissa: (Deathscythe Hell) BLUE!

 

Duo, who is also looking at Deathscythe Hell, jerks back. 

 

Duo: Oww! (Rubs his head) What do you mean, blue?!

 

Melissa: I remember this device.

 

Tabitha: How?

 

Melissa: We made it. Remember? Dr. J wanted a way to sabotage Oz's mobile suits. This was one of the things we came up with.

 

Tabitha: But Uncle J rejected it.

 

Dr. J: How where we to get it in the suits?

 

Mary: We hadn't thought that far.

 

Trowa: Tess did.

 

Melissa: Anyway, if Tess didn't change the color scheme, all we have to do is cut the blue wire.

 

Checks out device.

 

Melissa: Nope, it's blue.

 

Duo: Cool.

 

Takes wire cutters and cuts the wire, without hesitation. It falls to the ground.

 

Melissa: Now it is useless.

 

All of the devices are cut and made useless. By the time everything was done it was lunch time. Dr. J took them back to school.

 

Dr. J: You kids have a nice day. We'll still be looking for Tess's hideout. In the mean time enjoy your time at school.

 

Tabitha: Bye Uncle J!

 

He leaves. The group gets lunch then goes to their table.

 

Melissa: Was nice to see the Gundams again.

 

Tabitha: I agree with you there.

 

Mary: Look at us! Talking about them as if they are alive!

 

Melissa: I'm remembering a late night after a long day's work. Someone talking to Wing ZERO.

 

Mary: Shh!

 

Duo: You girls talked to Heero's Gundam?!

 

Melissa: I think everyone here is guilty of talking to a Gundam, weather it was because of the familiarity of piloting it for years or the pride of building one. In a way you can say the merchants who build the machine are the parents, while the pilots are the husbands and wives that the parents give them away to.

 

Heero: Interesting way of putting it.

 

Wufei: If that's how you feel, than I'm sorry.

 

Melissa: (Surprised) For what?!

 

Wufei: If the Gundams are your 'children' then we were cruel not to let you see them.

 

Melissa: (Smiling) I was only using metaphors, the pride you feel for your Gundam I'll never come close to. Like in the days of sailing ships, the captain would go down with the ship, but you would never see the men who hammered the boards in place even think about that. That type of relationship doesn't come from merely making a machine.

 

Trowa: Because you still think along those lines, it's still just a machine you made. You only wanted to see the Gundams to admire your handy work.

 

Melissa: Yes, while Duo risked his life yelling in agony because his Gundam was shot down.

 

Duo: Don't remind me.

 

Tabitha: Good thing we are talking in low voices.

 

Duo: Why?

 

Tabitha: Because we aren't thinking in code.

 

*Silence-Surprisingly broken by Heero.

 

Heero: How come I haven't seen you before?

 

Melissa: Maybe you have but maybe you have grown so dependent on orders and missions that you would believe anything those you believed higher than yourself told you. That maybe orders have become your drug.

 

Heero: What dose that have to do with any of this?

 

Tabitha: We will not tell you any of my uncle's secrets, just as you will not tell us anything he has shared with you. My uncle will tell you, Heero, when he feels it is time, and you shall have no answers until then.

 

Everyone was shocked by her coldness.

 

Heero: (With no emotion) Very well.

 

Mary: What the prefect little doll they made you.

 

The comment had no emotion in it as well and no one was sure if it was meant to be hurtful.

*More silence and Duo couldn't think of anything to say to break the tension, so Quatre did.

 

Quatre: So, Mary, you really didn't like the color I chose?

 

The tension was so thick that even Trowa laughed at the relief of having it taken off him.

 

Duo: So Mel, want to go with the prom with me?

 

Melissa: (Surprised) What?!

 

Duo: What you're on my lap but you can't hear what I'm saying?

 

Melissa: Sure, I'll go with you, but I don't think this is the time-

 

He kisses her.

 

Duo: Thanks.

 

Mary: (* Clears her throat* )

 

Quatre: Want to go with me?

 

Mary: Sure.

 

Trowa:  Um, Tabitha?

 

Tabitha: Don't worry I'll go to the prom with you, Trowa.

     

*** Shopping for Prom Dresses

At  door of Dic's Dresses

 

Mary: This place is HUGE!

 

 They walk in.

 

Melissa: Too much pink! Too much pink!

 

Tabitha: Wow! I didn't know there where so many shades of pink!

 

Mary: (Beginning to leave) Maybe we should go somewhere else.

 

Tabitha: No, I think I see other colors back there.

 

Melissa: Yes, but to get there you have to walk through the (Doom music) dreaded pink!

 

They look around for a source of the music 

 

Tabitha: Ha, Ha. Now how did you make the music?

 

The Girls walk towards the dresses. Tabitha walks around looking at the dresses. Mary and Melissa walk with their backs to a wall staying has far away from the PINK as they could. Tabitha kept pointing at dresses that she liked.

 

Tabitha: I like this one.

                  This one I like more.

                   Wow beautiful, Cool. 

                   Don't you think I would look good in this?    

 

 They finally reach the cool colored dresses. Melissa goes straight to the black section, Mary goes to the blue section and Tabitha looks all around. After about 3 hours and many disputes the girls picked up the dresses they liked (they didn't let each other see the dresses they picked)

They walked past the PINK to get to the check out stand and soon they owned their dresses.      

 

*Lunch time

 

Tabitha: Sorry I'm late. I just got off the phone with my mom.

 

She sits down next to Trowa.

 

Melissa: What'd  she have to say?

 

Tabitha: She said she overheard Becky telling Heather that I was so lucky to have a cute boyfriend.

 

Mary: Uh, oh.

 

Tabitha: Yea, tell me about it. First I spent an hour trying to explain to her that Trowa and I were not having sex.

 

Trowa, who had just taken a drink of milk, sits it out.

 

Trowa: Sex?

 

Tabitha: Yea, and when she finally believed me she spent another hour giving me the "birds and the bees" speech and then she would only let me hand up if I promised to take Trowa over there for dinner so they could meet him.

 

Trowa: Meet?

 

Duo: HA, HA! And I hear her mom is strict.

 

Mary: No that's my mom.

 

Trowa: Them?

 

Tabitha: Yea, and my father Vince.

 

Trowa: Father?

 

Tabitha: Luckily Uncle J will be there too, along with 4 of his friends, so they won't grill you too hard.

 

Melissa: (* Gasp *)

 

Duo: What?!

 

Melissa: If Aunt Victoria heard about Trowa from Becky, and knowing Becky, that means that they know about Duo and me.

 

Tabitha: Yep. Your parents will be there too, so you'll have to bring Quatre  and Duo.

 

Mary: Well, I know they will love Quatre.

 

Melissa: Don't rub it in.

 

Duo: You ashamed of me, Mel?

 

Melissa: No Duo, but they saw you at church.

 

Melissa, Tabitha and Mary prepare for dinner. Since Tabitha has all the best makeup she knows her cousins will be in her room any second, sure enough Mary comes in.

 

Mary: Can I borrow your pastille pink lip-gloss?

 

Tabitha: You? Pink?

 

Mary: Dad said he like me in it. Remember?

 

Tabitha: (smiling) Oh yea, you wore it on a dare!

 

Mary: Just give it to me.

 

Tabitha opens the drawer on her vanity and hands Mary the lip-gloss. Melissa walks in and mouths drop because she is wearing a light blue dress.

 

Melissa: Tabitha can I borrow you metallic purple lipstick?

 

She looks at her cousin's stunned face.

 

Melissa: What? Oh my dress. Do you like it? Took me forever to find it, then I had to wash it just to get the dust off.

 

Tabitha: You too are doing an awful lot to impress your parents.

 

The boys show up.

 

Duo: Looking good, strange, but good.

 

The entire ride there Melissa was praying. Then as they climbed up the patio steps to the parent's home she crossed all of her fingers.

 

Duo: Will you relax? I'll be good. Scouts honor.

 

Melissa: Your no Boy Scout.

 

Tabitha: That's what she is afraid of.

 

She knocks on the door. Her mother answers it almost immediately, making the teens think she was standing there waiting for her daughter.

 

Victoria: Tabitha! Hey Vince, the kids are here!

 

Vince comes out of the kitchen, drying his hands on a dishtowel.

 

Vince: Good! Hi Tabitha! Now with one of these boys is the famous Trowa?

 

Everyone points at Trowa. Vince reaches out his hand for Trowa to shake. After a second of staring at it Trowa shakes it.

 

Vince: Once Ro and Hal get here we'll start cooking. Ro is helping me in the kitchen, but if you ask her I'm helping her. Hi girls.

 

M & M: Hi Vince.

 

Vince: Gotta clean the kitchen, Ro's coming.

 

Melissa: Their still having their I'm-a-better-cook-than-you wars?

 

Victoria: Yep. I'm sure there will be some fighting before there is eating. But if there was going to be any dinner we had to pick someone to cook. Hal's the one who said they should both cook. Let's see how it works out.

 

Mary: This will be an interesting meal.

 

Victoria: Yea. Well, you guys are probably going to want to sit down, follow me.

 

She leads them into the living room.

 

Victoria: Please sit down.

 

They sit.

 

Victoria: They're late. M & M's parents, I mean. SMT. Would you guys like anything to drink? Water? Soda? Tea? Juice?

 

Melissa: Could I have some water, Aunt Victoria?

 

Victoria: Sure. Any one else?

 

Tabitha: Could I have some of my milk, Mom?

 

Victoria nods. No one else wanted anything so she left to get the drinks.

 

Duo: SMT?

 

Melissa: Standard Mormon Time. 30 minutes late.

 

There is a knock at the door. Vince comes out of the kitchen again to answer the door. Melissa and Mary's parents stand there. Victoria comes out holding the drinks.

 

Hal: Hi Victoria!

 

They hug.

 

Rochelle: I'll say hi to the kids, then I'm in that kitchen. 

 

Vince: See you, then.

 

He smirks and goes back into the kitchen. Rochelle walks to where the teenagers are sitting. She hugs her daughters, who don't seem to want to hug her back but do out of obligation. She looks at Duo sitting next to Melissa, and a flash of recognition goes across her face and they know that she doesn't approve of him, straight off.

 

Rochelle: Duo?

 

All Duo can do under her cold stare is nod.

 

Rochelle: You went to church that one day, didn't you?

 

Duo nods. She looks around the room. Hal and Victoria walk in. Victoria hands Melissa and Tabitha the drinks they asked for and sits down on a chair. Hal shakes Quatre's hand.

 

Hal: Good to see you again Quatre. Duo.

 

He shakes Duo's hand.

 

Hal: Trowa. If I remember right, you don't like to shake hands.

 

Trowa nods.

 

Hal: Well then, hello.

 

He sits down in the armchair and relaxes.

 

Rochelle: I'm going to the kitchen, before Vince burns something.

 

She leaves.

 

Hal: So, do you boys have jobs?

 

Quatre: We have one but-

 

Duo: (smiling) We're the Gundam pilots. 

 

Hal begins to laugh.

 

Hal: Good one, aren't you little young?

 

Duo: Yea, everyone always catches that!

 

Victoria: That's not something to joke about. The Gundam pilots risked their lives for freedom.

 

Hal: Yea, I know that, but still-

 

Melissa: Dad, please don't joke about war.

 

Hal falls silent. Within a few minutes they could smell food cooking. Rochelle and Vince walk into the living room and the parents start to reminisce about times of when their kids were babies.

 

Rochelle: I mean it was socked! And she said " Look Mommy I wash hair!" and I said " Melissa, tell Mommy where you got the water." And she took me to the bathroom and pointed at the-

 

Melissa: So, Dad, seen any good movies lately?

 

Duo: Come on, Mel, I want to hear the end of the story!

 

Melissa: The toilet, I pointed to the toilet!

 

Everyone laughs, but Mel.

 

Melissa: Can we move on, please?

 

Vince: Tabitha used to teeth on Mary's head.

 

Trowa: Really?

 

Soon there was another knock at the door. Vince got up and answered it. It was Dr. J and his friends.

 

Vince: Come in, come in!

 

Dr. J: Hello Vince, how have you been lately?

 

Vince: Fine. Dinner will be ready in a few minutes. You arrived just in time. The rest of us are in the living room.

 

An eggtimer in the kitchen goes off. Vince and Ro disappear into the kitchen. Dr. J and his friends walk into the living room.

 

Dr. J: How are you, Hal?

 

Hal: Fine, and you?

 

Dr. J: As good as I'll always be.

 

Hal laughs.

 

Dr. J: These are my friends.

 

Hal shakes their hands. Vince comes out of the kitchen.

 

Vince: Dinner is served. This way please.

 

They follow him into the dinning room. Ro is placing a pitcher of milk on the table.

 

Ro: We brought Joseph Smith. (Holds up pitcher) We were going to bring his 12, but there is just too many of us.

 

Vince: Had that problem with chairs. We will be a little squeezed together, but we'll fit.

 

They sit. Knees bump knees, but hey, is that always a bad thing?

 

Quatre: (as Duo is reaching for food) What's so-

 

Melissa: Duo, don't!

 

Duo: (roll in hand) What?

 

Mary: We have to pray.

 

Rochelle: (under breath, but loud enough for everyone to hear) Surprised you remembered!

 

Duo looks disappointed as he sets the roll on his plate.

 

Hal: I'll pray.

 

The boys watch as everyone bows their heads, they look at each other and then bow their own heads.

 

Hal: Dear Kind Gracious Heavenly Father,

         We bow our heads as thy humble children. Thanking thee for this food, which, thanks to thee, we could buy. Thanks to the gifts thou has given Ro and Vince this meal will be delicious. I thank thee for that, dear Father, and that our daughters and their friends could arrive safely. We ask thee to bless them, Father. Please also bless Victoria and Vince, for they have let us into their home. We ask that this food may strengthen and nourish us. Amen.

 

Everyone looks up.

 

Hal: Let's eat!

 

They dished out the food.

 

Quatre: What's so special about the pitcher?

 

Melissa: Joseph Smith was the first prophet of the Restored Church, you know the Mormons.

 

Quatre: Oh!

 

Dinner went surprisingly well, it was after dinner that they should have worried about.

They all went back into the living room. They began talking about Independence. Rochelle is usually quite.

 

Mary: Just say what you want to Mom and get it over with!

 

Rochelle: I don't want to start a fight.

 

Mary: Just say what you-

 

Hal: Mary-

 

Mary: No, Dad! I want to know what Mom really thinks! So what is it Mom?

 

Rochelle: These boys don't know about anything, do they? You haven't discussed anything with them have you?

 

Duo: We know stuff!

 

Rochelle: This from the boy who dumps the sacrament water. 

 

Melissa: Mom, please-

 

Rochelle: No! I'm only looking out for your well being. You are going to get married soon and you marry who you date!

 

Melissa: So you don't approve of Duo, is that what this is about?

 

Rochelle: I don't want you to forfeit a temple marriage!

 

Melissa: I doubt I will marry Duo Maxwell!

 

Rochelle: Like I said you marry who you date!

 

Melissa: (Finally yelling) Then I'm doomed because I haven't dated anyone else, have I? Had you worried, didn't I?

 

Rochelle: I just-

 

Melissa: (Clam, but angry voice) And I ask you again Mom, do you approve of Duo Maxwell?

 

Rochelle: No, I don't.

 

Melissa stands up and walks to her father.

 

Melissa: Bye, Daddy.

 

Hal stands up and kisses her.

 

Hal: I'm not saying I approve of this, but he's cool and he makes you happy.

 

He puts his hand on her face. Duo stands up. Hal looks at him.

 

Hal: Make her happy.

 

Melissa: We'll be waiting in the car.

 

Duo and Melissa leave.

 

Mary: What about Quatre, Mom?

 

Rochelle: What?

 

Mary: Do you approve of Quatre? The only arguments you had against Duo were that he wasn't Mormon! So do you approve of Quatre?

 

Rochelle: I don't approve of anyone who can't take you to the temple.

 

Mary doesn't even say good-bye she just gets up gestures for Quatre to leave with her and they go. Tabitha and Trowa sit in the awkward silence for a while, before Tabitha says good-bye and they get up to leave. When they get to the truck they find Melissa and Duo in the bed. They are sitting on the seats back there. Melissa has her head on Duo's shoulder and his shirt is wet with her tears. Tabitha walks to the window of the truck's bed.

 

Tabitha: Will you be all right, Melissa?

 

Melissa nods. Duo puts his hand on her head, and strokes her hair.

 

Duo: Let's just go somewhere.

 

Tabitha and Trowa climb into the truck. Trowa starts the truck. Quatre is sitting uncomfortably in the back seat, next to Mary, who looks very mad. She is also mumbling not so nice things under her breath. Trowa pulls the truck out into the street. He takes Duo's advice and doesn't go back to school. Instead they go to a hill that overlooks the rest of the city.

 

Tabitha: It's pretty here.

 

Trowa: Yea.

 

They hear the bed door open. Within a minute Duo appears in the window.

 

Duo: Hey! Guess what.

 

Melissa comes next to him.

 

Melissa: FIRE!

 

Tabitha: What?!

 

She jumps from the truck.

 

Duo: There is a fire pit here.

 

Tabitha get the same hungry look that Melissa has on her face. Melissa leads Tabitha to the fire pit.

Trowa, Quatre and Mary come out of the truck.

 

Tabitha: Ohhh! I want fire, FIRE!!! Trowa give me fire!

 

Trowa get into the bed of the truck and comes out holding matches and Barbecue gas.

 

Duo: Come on Mel, let's get some wood to burn.

 

Soon a fire was built and the teens were sitting around it. Trowa also dug three blankets out of the truck and each couple had one draped across their backs.

 

Tabitha: Fffffiiirrrrrrrrrrrrre! 

 

Another truck drives up the hill.

 

Duo: Looks like this might be a make-out point.

 

Surprisingly a teenage couple isn't in the truck, a grown (and rather ugly) man is. He steps out of his truck. Everyone is looking at him.

 

Man: Howdy.

 

Everyone: Hi.

 

Other cars come speeding up the hill. The man cusses under his breath and hops back into his truck. He starts it and tries to run away, but the cars barricade him in. He stops his truck. Millardo steps out of one of the cars.

 

Millardo: Step out of your truck with your hands up.

 

Man: (yelling out of his window) Only a fool would betray the mistress, and I'm not a fool, so go ahead and shoot me. Oh, I forgot your no longer a killer! (Hysterical laughing)

 

He puts the truck in reverse and stops right at the edge of the cliff.

 

Millardo: Hey you kids, get out of the way!

 

They didn't need to be told twice. However the man cuts off their path with his truck. He opens the door, grabs the closest person to him and pulls her inside.

 

Quatre: MARY!

 

The man points a gun at Mary and tells her that if she tries to leave he'll kill her. Then he places the truck in reverse again. Millardo sees what he is planning on doing and tells all of his people to get to the side of the road. They leave the cars, Relena is among them, and jump to the side off the road. Trowa and Duo grab Quatre and pull him to the side as well. Tabitha and Melissa move also. The man pushes the gas all the way down and the truck goes speeding through the barricade, smashing many of the cars.

 

Trowa: Come on!

 

He and the others hop into the truck.

 

Relena: Trowa! Can-

 

Trowa: Hop in the back!

 

Millardo and Relena hop into the bed, which had been left open. Before they could even close it Trowa sped off. They found the truck and began to chase it.

 

Quatre: Faster Trowa!

 

Trowa gives him a look that says "I'm going as fast as I can!"

They try to catch up with the man and Mary. The man takes them off road and the go into the woods surrounding them. The ride is bumpy. Melissa looks behind her to find Relena and Millardo bouncing all around, if the situation wasn't so dire, she would have laughed.

 

Quatre: Your losing him!

 

It was true the man seemed to know the woods and they didn't. They could also barely see him. Suddenly the man's truck was gone as Trowa had to turn quickly to dodge a tree.

 

Quatre: NOOOO! Where is he! Trowa you lost him!

 

Duo: He knows that! Now shut up and think of something that will help us!

 

Trowa stops the truck.

 

Quatre: Don't stop! We have to find them!

 

Millardo: There is no point in aimlessly getting lost.

 

He was speaking through the window that connected the bed to the cab. Duo, who was sitting in the middle of the cab's back seat, turned and they were face to face.

 

Millardo and Duo: AHHH!

 

Duo: (After recovering) Aren't we already lost?

 

Trowa: No.

 

He starts up the truck and gets back to the street. Trowa heads back to the hill.

 

Melissa: Who was that guy?

 

Relena: One of Tess's soldiers, we were lucky to capture him.

 

Duo: Captured by pacifists. Imagine how embarrassing that would be.

 

Quatre: This is no time to joke, Mary has been captured!

 

Tabitha: We need a phone. Trowa, try to stop at a phone.

 

Trowa stops at a call box. Tabitha and Melissa step out of the truck and tell no one to follow them.

 

Melissa: We need to call your Uncle J. The tracers are still in us, they will be able to track her.

 

She gets out change from her purse.

 

Melissa: Do you think he would still be at your parents.

 

Tabitha: Yea, he was there because he is staying there, for like a week.

 

Melissa: Then call them.

 

She puts the change in the phone and waits for it to be answered. She tries hard to surpass tears and panic. She was impressed by Melissa's control. Vince's face shows up on the screen.

 

Vince: Tabitha?

 

Tabitha: Hi Vince. Can I talk to Uncle J?

 

Vince looks confused but lets his brother come to the phone.

 

Dr. J: Yes Tabitha?

 

Tabitha: (Trying hard to push back tears) I've lost that bracelet you gave me.

 

Dr. J: But the earning and necklace are O.K?

 

Tabitha: Yes.

 

Dr. J: O.K. Tabitha, it will be found.

 

Tabitha: But what if someone stole it?

 

Dr. J: Don't worry, it has a special serial number. Oh, and tell your boyfriend not to get overexcited about this.

 

He smiled a reassuring smile (well as reassuring as Dr. J's smiles can ever get) and said good-bye to Tabitha. Then he hung up. The girls headed back to the car.

 

Melissa: Everything will be fine. Do not drag the Gundams into this. 

 

They rode back to the hill, dropped Relena and Millardo off with their henchmen and went home. Finally, in the comfort of her room, in the warmth of her blankets, Tabitha Chesonis allowed herself to cry. In the room next to her Melissa Anthony, Mary's sister, stayed awake staring off into darkness

 

Meanwhile (I tell you, that word is cool!)

 

Mary: What are you planning on doing?

 

Man: I have been disgraced, the mistress will now think I'm useless!

 

Mary: (Under breath) She wouldn't be far from the truth.

 

Man: (Eyeing her suspiciously) But you wouldn't under stand. You could never understand.

 

Mary: Try me.

 

Man: No, but you may come to some use.

 

He raises his gun and brings it down on her head. Mary falls over, unconscious.

When she wakes up she is tied to a chair in a dark room, her head hurts (to say the least)

 

Cold Female Voice: So, you have finally woken up.

 

Mary tries to see who is talking.

 

Mary: Yep. (*Moan from pain*) Who are you?

 

Cold Female Voice: If you don't know, I won't tell you.

 

Mary: Then I guess I'll call you... "She-Devil". How are you She-Devil?

 

She-Devil: Very well. Allow me to call you "Idiot".

 

Mary:  No, you will call me Mary, un-like you I'm not rude.

 

She-Devil: Until I see proof of that you are an idiot. Do you realize where you are? Who you are with? If I wanted to I could rage war against the Winner Estate! Where would your precious Quarter be then?!

 

Mary: Tess, you think you can bring down the Winners! Tabitha beat you up! And Tabitha is well... weak! (Laughter from people un-seen)

 

Tess: Silence! Need I remind you all what happens to those I grow tried with!

 

People go silent.

 

Tess: As for you, Idiot, I was weak as well. Caught up in a love for a fool! That was before I found my true calling! Before I realized what a fool I had been!

 

Mary:  It was a little over quarter ago. I personally think that you're still weak, She-Devil. You couldn't take on a fly! Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

 

Faster than lighting (well not really, but pretty fast) Tess steps in front of Mary and slaps her, HARD. Mary's nose snaps and her lip begins to bleed.

 

Tess: The difference between you, you cousin and me is that I didn't, until recently, feel comfortable destroying life. I held back, Idiot. I held back all the things your sister holds back. The ability to kill, to harm. Face it, we may not be Heero, Dr. J's pet, but we were taught a thing or two!

 

Mary: First off the main difference between you and me is I'm tied up. What do you mean 'WE were taught a thing or two?'

 

Tess: Well that's one of the many questions you probably formed from my explosion. I'm sorry, excuse that. Dr. J, will be here soon, give him my love.

 

 Mary heard Tess turn to leave.

 

Mary: Your right, my other question was 'how did someone so ugly get so many men to follow her?' Will you ans-

 

Tess: That's probably something Dr. J is asking himself as well, I suppose I could answer him. He did give me many skills, after all. There are more things than sex that get men, and women, to follow you.

 

Tess leaves and Mary is left alone. Tess was right. It took only a few minutes for Dr. J's men to find Mary and take her to somewhere safe.   

Next Afternoon (1:00) Tabitha's phone rings. Trowa was in her room. She answers it. After talking to the person on the other line she knocks on Melissa's room. Melissa's voice told her to come in. She opens the door to see her cousin in Duo's arms.

 

Tabitha: Mary's been found. 

 

2:00-Quatre, Tabitha and Melissa come to see Mary.

 

Quatre: MARY!

 

He runs to her and hugs her, a little too hard. She gasped.

 

Mary: Glad to see you too, Quatre. Now let me go!

 

Quatre lets her go.

 

Melissa: We tried to bring you goodies, but Tabitha can't bake, and we don't have any money.

 

Tabitha: We tried to get Uncle J to lend us some, but he didn't have any either.

 

Melissa: We tried to get Vince and Aunt Victoria give us some, but they said we should get a job.

 

Tabitha: And we didn't even try to go to your parents. They will probably bring enough.

 

Melissa: I tried to bake but-

 

She hold up what seems to be a black Pog (You remember Pogs, don't you?) well think of it as a black half-dollar.

Mary's parents come in. Rochelle is holding a large basket of cookies and candies and cakes and Hal is holding a balloon and flowers.

 

Rochelle: (in a rush) Oh, my baby, and the last thing I said to you were hateful words, oh, I was so scared when I found out and guilty and I'm sorry and (breath) I love you and I don't want us to fight again.

 

She hugs Mary tighter than Quatre did.

 

Mary: Mom, it's okay, a little too tight by the way.

*Getting Ready-Tabitha's Room

Tabitha's face and hair is done, however she is still in her bathrobe. Mary is sitting at T's vanity; Tabitha is doing her hair. Melissa walks into the room. Her hair is done in many braids, makeup and dress is black.

 

Melissa: What do you think?

 

She spins to show her cousin and her sister her dress and hair.

 

Tabitha: It_s you.

 

Mary: Looking good!

 

Tabitha: (To Mary) All done.

 

Mary looks at herself in the mirror.

 

Mary: AH!

 

Tabitha: What?!

 

Mary: IT'S & It's actually good. I remember when you first tried to do my hair.

 

Tabitha fake laughs and walks behind her dressing wall.

 

Melissa: That's nothing. She learned how to use a curling iron in me, remember. I had to comb my hair in the weirdest ways to cover that bald spot.

 

Tabitha: I didn't mean to catch you hair on fire.

 

Mary: At least Dr. J was there with that bucket of water.

 

Girls laugh. Duo bursts into the room.

 

Duo: TA DA!

 

Tabitha: Quick! Someone zip me up!

 

Duo turns his head.

 

Duo: Sorry!

 

Tabitha: I'm behind my dressing wall!

 

Melissa helps Tabitha. Duo turns his head back. Tabitha and Melissa come from behind it.

 

Duo: I always forget that thing.

 

Trowa and Quatre walk in.

 

Trowa: Forget what?

 

Duo: Tabitha's dressing wall. I keep on thinking I walking in on her naked.

 

Trowa: Be careful with your wording, Duo.

 

They go the dance hall (Prom is also with Relena's school)

New Beginning is the theme.

They see Heero with Relena. He is wearing a tux and he LOOKS HAPPY!!!! He even laughs at a joke! They stare at him.

 

Duo: (Still staring at Heero) T-T-Tabitha d-d-did you b-b-bring your camera?

 

Tabitha: (Staring) It's in my purse.

 

Tabitha hands it to Duo without taking her glance off Heero. Duo reaches into the purse and takes out the camera and drops the bag. All of its contents come spilling out. Duo takes the picture.

They all snap out of it. Tabitha realizes that her make-up is all over the floor.

 

Tabitha: What?

 

They all help pick the stuff. Then the go to were Heero is Melissa and Duo stop at the dance floor. They begin to dance.

Wufei come in. Quatre and Mary have a drink before dancing. After half an hour Tabitha drags Trowa to the dance floor closely followed by Heero pulling Relena to dance.

 

Duo: T, can I see your camera.

 

Tabitha: It's still in your hand.

 

Duo looks at his hand, surprised. And then takes the picture.

Two hours pass. Everyone is having a great time. A boy walks up to Mary.

 

Mary: Hi Luke!

 

Luke: Hi Mary. How are you?

 

Mary: Fine. How are you?

 

Luke: Cool. This would be Quatre?

 

Mary: Yea.

 

Luke: Cool! Hope you have a good time tonight.

 

He leaves.

 

Quatre: Who was that?

 

Mary: An old boyfriend, don't worry, he's cute, but there is nothing to be jealous of.

 

Wufei walks to his friends.

 

Wufei: You guys have to meet my Sisterhood teacher!

 

Duo: Clam down, Wufei, well meet her. Just let us get some drinks first.

 

They all grab some punch. Wufei takes then to a woman who is standing with her backs to them.

 

Wufei: Miss Bloom?

 

Trowa spits out his drink.

 

Trowa: BLOOM?!

 

Catharine Bloom turns to face them.

 

Catharine: TROWA!

 

She hugs and kisses him on the check. Trowa kisses her back.

 

Wufei: You know her?

 

Trowa: Don't you remember her bringing you soup?!

 

Wufei:  OH! She was the one running around in the bra at the circus! I thought she looked familiar!!

 

Catharine: I wondered when you would remember me.

 

Duo: Wufei has a hard time remembering wo-HEY! You_re that mean woman!

 

Trowa: Be nice, Duo!

 

Duo: But she about chased me away when all I was trying to do was start a conversation.

 

Catharine puts her arm around Trowa.

 

Catharine: I'm sorry, but I get crazy when it comes to my Trowa.

 

Mary clears her throat.

 

Catharine: And who are these lovely girls?

 

Trowa: Um ... Ta ...Ta... Tabitha!

 

Tabitha is speechless. She drops the punch in her hand.

 

Duo: Someone spiked the punch!

 

No one found it Funny.

Tabitha runs toward the door.

 

Trowa: Tabitha!

 

Tabitha: NO! Trowa! My gosh, I LOVE you, and you forget my name when your old girlfriend shows up!

 

Trowa: Catharine wasn't-

 

Tabitha: No Trowa! How could I have been so stupid?!  Falling in love with you at the beginning?! Ever since I saw you, before the war, on your little poles, doing your little flips!

 

Trowa: Before the war?!

 

Tabitha: We keep on telling you boys we know more than we let one, but do you listen, NO! Well, good-bye Noname, hope you have a happy, no, a horrible life when you realize I've gone and I won't come back! Don't bother chasing me or ever trying to see me again, because I'm gone, GOOD-BYE!!

 

She moves towards the door, she sees the Dean.

 

Tabitha: There I told him, HAPPY!

 

She runs outside. Trowa stands still, hardly breathing, taken aback by Tabitha's harsh words.

 

Melissa: (To Dean) What was that about?!

 

Dean: I told her she should tell him how she feels.

 

She gave him a dirty look.

 

Dean: Don't look at me that way!

 

Melissa was going to say something, but she was interrupted by Tabitha’s scream. Trowa and Melissa rush to the door. They see Tabitha standing in the shadow of a mobile suit. She seemed to be challenging it. Another suit shows up and blasts the wall of the dance hall the debris fall on Tabitha.

 

M & T: TABITHA!

 

They rush to her but Heero grabs their arms.

 

Heero: Calm down! Tess’s forces have arrived, so we need to fight.

 

Melissa: I'll help the other escape.

 

She moved back into the dance hall and helped calmed down the people in it. The Gundams were brought out by their pilots.

 

FIGHT

 

At the end Tess had been tossed from her suit.

 

Heero: It's over Tess.

 

Tess: Oh, no, Heero, this is far from over!

 

She runs into the darkness and disappears.

Trowa clears the debris off of Tabitha. They hear sirens in the distance. They rehid the Gundams, before the ambulances came Heero walked to reminds of Tess's site. He finds a book.

 

Tabitha was put in a coma. M, M, Q, T, Dr. J, his friends, D, W, Mr. G, Vince, Victoria, Ro & Hal wait for her to wake up. (SHE'S LOVED)

 

Dr. J: This should have not have happened! We should have found Tess! WE...

 

Trowa: I'm more to blame than you.

 

Quatre: No, your not to blame!

 

Tabitha: Trowa.

 

Melissa: She said something!

 

Tabitha wakes up with a start and jumps from the bed and flings herself onto Trowa she knocks him to the ground.

 

Tabitha: I'm so sorry, Trowa! I didn't really mean most of the things I said. I love you Trowa and I don't want to ever hurt you again. I'm sorry I said I want you to have a horrible life. And I'm sorry I called you Noname! Please forgive me?

 

Trowa: I forgive you.

 

Tabitha: Good, now can you help me back onto the bed.

 

She gives up holding herself and collapses on him. He gathers her up and places her on the bed. Victoria walks up to the bed and tucks her in.

 

Tabitha: Tank-you, Mommy all comfy.

 

Heero runs into the room.

 

Heero: DR. J! I found something. (Hands book to Dr. J) Good that you up, Tabitha.

 

Tabitha: Thanks, hay how long have I been laying here?

 

Dr. J: About three days (Looking at book) Is this what I think it is?

 

Heero: It's Treize's diary. I checked and rechecked, And rechecked again, and then Relena came & um & anyway this is Treize's.

 

It turns out that Tess ran from home after the fight with Tabitha. She found Treize's dairy and read it. It became her Bible. She had also had been taught by Dr. J d she almost had a nervous breakdown because of it. Finding Treize's Dairy gave her the control she needed but also a ruthlessness she didn't And she's still out there.  (DOOMSDAY MUSIC) 

 

*Next day—Tabitha got bored.

 

Tabitha had gotten enough strength to stand, so when the nurse wasn’t looking Tabitha snuck out of bed and began to dance in her hospital gown. The Gundam boys (minus Heero) show up Trowa sees Tabitha dancing through the window (Trowa turns head slightly). The nurse sees Trowa looking at Tabitha and quickly runs into Tabitha’s room and makes her sit down and eat her lunch, on her way out she gives Trowa an evil glance, Trowa looks back confused. Tabitha begins to play with her sandwich, then when she is done, she looks down board, then looks around room for something to play with, when her eyes fall upon the bed pan, a look of joy spreads Tabitha’s face as she picks it up. Tabitha begins to play with the bedpan like she is driving a race car (facial expressions and all). The nurse sees this runs into Tabitha’s room (again to spoil her fun). The nurse and Tabitha get into a tug-of-war over the bedpan.

 

Duo: Man those must be some drugs they have your cousin on!

 

Melissa & Mary laugh.

 

Melissa: Drugs!

 

Mary: That’s how she always is!

 

Quatre: How?

 

Melissa & Mary: Easily amused!!

 

The nurse won the tug-of-war, and is leaving just as others enter.

 

Tabitha: The mean OLD nurse took my fun away.

 

Melissa reaches into her pocket and pulls a shoelace out, a wide smile goes across Tabitha’s face.

 

Mary: Enjoy!

 

The boys watch in astonishment, as Tabitha begins to make all sorts designs with the shoelace. Then Tabitha begins to form letters, at first a T, then Duo, and at last Quatre Rabreba Winner.

 

Quatre: Very good, but you spelled it wrong!

 

Tabitha: (looks at her work) Oh…

 

She redoes it to read, Quatre Raberba Winner.

 

Tabitha: Better?

 

Quatre: Yes!

 

Graduation

Melissa got to be valedictorian. Mariemaia was the guest speaker. (Still in her wheelchair and adopted by Lady Une) Tabitha got to be in the wheelchair, she was very cut up and Trowa only left her when his named was called. Duo made her a sign that said 'Hey be nice to me or I'll wheel over your toes!"  Mary and Quatre kissed in PUBLIC!!! (Many comments form Duo) <Many, many, many comments> Then it was time for Melissa’s speech. She began to speck and Duo tripped over his robe and cause the domino effect with the other students, making them all fall.

 

Melissa: It's all right, he's my boyfriend.

 

Duo gets chased by the other students.

 

Melissa: Any who, where was I...

 

And then the Millenium Falcon crashed into the school!!!! People run and hide and scream!

 

Melissa, Mary, Tabitha, Heero, Duo, Trowa, Quatre and Wufei: MADE YOU LOOK!!!
