Start of 3rd Quarter 2nd Semester

 

Trowa and Tabitha are playing feetises under the table.

 

Tabitha: Mr. Green says I have real talent and that I could go far with a career of my own.

 

Mary: That's cool!

 

Trowa: It's good to follow your dreams.

 

Tabitha smiles slightly. Duo looks suspiciously at Trowa and Tabitha. Quickly he ducks below the table.

 

Duo: Wow! Kindda looks like Trowa's leg is attached to Tabitha's.

 

Trowa quickly moves his leg as Mary and Melissa duck below the table. Tabitha begins blushing, however Trowa looks like nothing happened.

 

Next day-1st period

 

Lucrezia: Class, this is our new student, Tess Brown. She will be sitting behind Wufei. (To Tess) Wufei is the sulky boy in the last row.  Please Tess tell us about yourself.

 

Tess: I changed my schedule so I could get photography.

 

Lucrezia: Did you?

 

Tess: Yes, Mr. Green 3rd period.

 

Lucrezia: Good for you. I think you will be having that class with two other students, Tabitha Chesonis and Trowa Barton.

 

Tess: Trowa Barton?

 

Lucrezia: Yes, please take your seat.

 

Period one goes on and Tabitha keeps eyeing Tess. She gets a weird vibe from that girl.

 

*Period Three-Mr. Green's class. Tabitha among 1st students there.

 

Tabitha: Hi Mr. Green!

 

Mr. Green: Hi Tabitha, we have a new_

 

Tabitha: Student Tess Brown.

 

Mr. Green: Yes. How did you know?

 

A pitched laughter comes from the hallway.

 

Tess: And so I told him he didn't have any idea what he was talking about! (More high laughter)

 

Trowa moves into the room quickly and slams the door behind him he quickly locks it. His face shows no emotion, but he walks over to Tabitha, sits and grabs her hand.

 

Trowa: (whispers to Tabitha) Play along.

 

Tess begins to pound on the door.

 

Tess: Trowa? (High pitched laugh) Trowa, this isn't funny!

 

Mr. Green: (laughs) Two girls-one Trowa. I'm rooting' for Tabitha.

 

Mr. Green opens the door. Trowa tightens his grip on Tabitha's hand and she swears he's sweating.

 

Tess: Hi Mr. Green. Hi Tab (sees Trowa holding Tabitha_s hand and her voice changes to a cold tone) itha.

 

She sits next to Trowa and places her hand on his knee. He calmly takes it off.

 

Tabitha: (***Thinking***) Oh Yea, I definitely hate this girl!

 

*After Class** Mr. Green asks Tess to stay after, Trowa pulls Tabitha away to lunch. His palms are sweating! Mr. Green winks at Tabitha has Trowa pulls her away.

 

--Lunch--

 

Trowa: She has all my classes. We, well she, compared our schedules. She even takes Quatre's course.

 

Tabitha notices only a hint of despair in his voice.

 

Duo: (While taking big bite of chicken) Poor Trowa.

 

Quatre: It's all right Trowa. Maybe something good will come out of this.

 

He looks at Tabitha's hand, which Trowa is still holding. Tess shows up.

 

Tess: Hi guys, Trowa (coldly) Tabitha.

 

Tabitha: (*Groan*) Aw, Trowa, a little too tight! (Grimace of pain from sudden squeeze)

 

Tess sits down next to Trowa and puts her arm around his shoulder and he finally lets go of Tabitha_s hand to take Tess's arm off.

 

*6th Period- Everyone but Trowa and Tess are there. Trowa runs in.

 

Sally: Trowa, please don't.

 

Trowa: (Cuts her off) Tabitha, I'm taking your seat, move down one. Hurry!

 

Tabitha moves.

 

Sally: Trowa-

 

Trowa: Heero, Mary, Quatre, move a seat down.

 

They move.

 

Trowa: Good! Mel, Duo could you-

 

Melissa and Duo move to sit beside Trowa.

 

Trowa: Yo, you, kid! Move in front of me.

 

Because "kid" is afraid of Heero he moves. Trowa sits. Tess comes in, sees that Trowa is surrounded and moans of disappointment. She sits next to Melissa.

 

Trowa: *Sigh of relief*

 

* After school-Everyone in Tabitha's room.

 

Trowa: My students can't concentrate on what I say. I can't concentrate on what my teachers say. (Tiny bit more of hint of despair)

 

Quatre: It's bad, real bad. She is all over him.

 

Mary, who had been leaning on Quatre, moves.

 

Quatre: No, no, he doesn't like her!

 

Mary moves back.

 

***Knock, Knock***

Tabitha moves to open the door. Tess is behind it.

 

Tabitha: YOU!!!

 

Tess: I live across the hall from you! (Looks in room) Oh, hi Trowa!

 

Tabitha slams door. <You go girl! >

 

Tess stood outside room all night, leaving Trowa in a snag.

 

Duo: He could stay here (looks at Tabitha) or maybe not.

 

Tabitha: HA, HA!!

 

Heero: The walls of this school are easy to climb down.

 

Duo: How do you know that?!

 

Every one thinks same thing: That's how he sneaks away to Relena's!

Trowa and Heero climb down wall as rest of the boys leave through the door, with many questions from Tess.

 

*Lunch next day-

 

Trowa: (Completely lost control of cool) I can't take it, I can't take it any more!!

 

Duo: Where is she?

 

Tabitha: Mr. Green pretended he had something important to say to her.

 

Mary: Mr. Green seems cool!

 

Trowa: I don_t want to see her ever, EVER again.

 

**Period Six**

 

Tess: (Talking to _kid she befriended) Yea, Trowa and I do everything together. We are the cutest couple. Even cuter than that Amber girl and that rich snob Quarter Rebecca Whatever.

 

Tabitha: (Under her breath) Quarter, Quarter, QUARTER!

 

Tess: And that dork Ta Ta, or whatever, she needs to get a life. She is always following Trowa around and hanging all over him. I mean he's my boyfriend! I hear That boy Wufie is available.

 

At this Tabitha jumps from her seat and walks angrily to Tess.

 

Tess: (stands up) What do you want?

 

Tabitha socks Tess in the face. A crunching sound is heard. Tess grabs her nose and blood flows through her fingers.

 

Tess: You Bi-

 

Duo: (Shakes finger at her) Ah, Ah no cursing!

 

Tess gives him a dirty look. Tabitha hits her again. Tess tries to smack Tabitha, but hits her friend instead, at this point Duo sits on his desk and starts laughing uncontrollably. Tabitha smacks Tess and the force of it tosses Tess's big bright pink glasses across the room. Tess desperately slaps Tabitha, only making her angrier. Tabitha grabs Tess's arm and twists it behind Tess's back. Tess grabs a chalk eraser. She frees herself from Tabitha and throws it at her. Tabitha slides aside, (Matrix move!) and it goes fling through the air towards Duo, whose to busy laughing to notice, until it hits him in the side of his head. A white cloud covers his face as he coughs and falls off his desk. Remember how Duo said no cussing'?

 

Duo: Hey you B$*%$, that hurt like h$#%, S%&$, owww! D&$$it, oww, F%$# it!

 

Now this was a wise move on Tess's part as Melissa was about to join in the fight, and we all know that after that there would be no hope for Tess, however now that Duo was hurt Melissa had to run to his side. Tabitha turns to see if  Duo was all  right, and Tess hit her.

 

Tabitha: (surprised) Oww! That hurt!

 

Trowa tries to join in. Tabitha turns to face him.

 

Tabitha: NO! MY FIGHT!!!

 

Trowa atomically sits back in his seat and tries not to laugh at idea of how bad Tess is beat up. Tess tackles Tabitha, pushing her to the ground. Tess gets on top of Tabitha (it_s a catfight at its worst) She tries to pull out Tabitha_s hair. Tabitha rolls and is soon on top of Tess. Tabitha pulls up a fist and tires to pound Tess_s head in, however, Tess moves and Tabitha shatters her knuckles on the hard floor.(OOWW                !)

 

Tabitha: D#$ you

 

Quatre tries to pull the two girls off each other, but in blind fury Tabitha pushes him away. He slides across the newly waxed floor and slams his head against the wall. More good timing for Tess, as Mary was about to join the fight as well, but had to rush to her boyfriend's side.

 

Mary: Quatre-NOT Quatre!!

 

Mary begins to run to Quatre. Tess picks up a paperweight and throws it. It hits Mary, who slides like her boyfriend and slams into the wall. Her leg bends the wrong way and a louder crushing sound is heard. Mary howls in pain.

 

Quatre, Melissa and Tabitha: MARY!!!

 

Tabitha turns towards her youngest cousin as Tess picks up her broken glasses and throws them.

 

Melissa: TABITHA!!!

 

Tabitha turns to face Tess and the glasses cut her lower lip.

 

Tabitha: (Very surprised) Nice Aim.

 

Mr. Green clears his throat. Everyone looks up at him, expect Heero who during this entire time had been writing vigorously. Mr. Green walks up to him. He quickly move his Math work over the paper, Mr. Green saw the words "Dear Relena."

 

Mr. Green: What happened here?!

 

Everyone tries to explain at once. Mr. Green holds up hand. The only noise in the room is Mary's sobs and Heero's writing. Mr. Green looks over the people in the room. Tess and Tabitha are covered in Tess's blood. Tabitha with a bit own her own dripping from her lip and hand. Quatre is bleeding from his hair. Mary's leg is bent at an unusual angle and she is crying in pain. Melissa has Duo's head on her lap and Duo looks quite happy. Tess's friend is red in her face, and the other "kid" is cowering in the corner.

 

Mr. Green: (Kindly) Hey, kid-

 

Kid stands up.

 

Mr. Green: What happened here.

 

Heero: *Clears his throat* 

 

Kid: (in a scared hurry)  It was all Tess. She was saying the worst things ever! (Glance at Heero) And I think she was sexually harassing Trowa.

 

Sally and Wufei walk in. Sally had gone for more paper and Wufei had gone to the bathroom.

(Been wondering haven't you?)

 

Sally: Bob! What happened?

 

Wufei: Looks like a fight.

 

Mary: (though sobs and occasional howls of pain) Duh!

 

First everyone went to the nurse (and in Mary_s case the hospital), then they went to the Dean.

 

**In Dean Dong Ding's office**

 

Dean: Why were you fighting?

 

Tabitha: She was harassing my boyfriend!!!

 

Dean: Then you should have filed a report!

 

 Mr. Green: I DID! It was of no affect, after all, she is your niece!

 

Tess: Uncle Dong, I didn't-

 

Dean: Young lady, I have my best students-all most all of which are badly bruised, one of my prominent teachers and an unrelated student, all of which say you caused this! I believe them!

 

Tess's friend: But that kid is afraid of Heero Yuy!

 

Dean Dong Ding looks at the kid, who is standing next to Heero.

 

Kid: I-I-I'm not afraid of H-H-H-Heero Y-Y-Yuy!

 

Dean: You sound and look afraid.

 

Kid: I'm nervous! (Puts arm around Heero) Heero and I are buds.

 

Dean: Fine. Tabitha, the rules are the rules, you will be suspended for 3 days. Tess you are going to be expelled from this school for sexual harassment.

 

Tess runs from room crying, her friend follows her.

 

Dean: Thank God!! I've been trying to get rid of her for a long time! Her mother made me let her come here.

 

Duo: Your sister?!

 

Quatre: Don't underestimate the power of older sisters.

 

Dean: Amen to that!

 

As they left Heero slipped the kid a 20.

**Later that Day**

Everyone is in Tabitha's room. Tabitha and Trowa are on Tabitha's bed. Trowa is wrapping Tabitha's hand in bandages. Mary is in a cast and is sitting in Quatre's seat and now he is leaning one her. Melissa is in her "spot" (which is, by the way, where she sits when ever she is in Tabitha's room-It's basically a black beanbag and a black rug in a corner) Duo, Heero and Wufei are on the sofa. Trowa finishes his wrapping and kisses Tabitha's knuckles.

 

Everyone but  T & T: Awwwww! (Only Quatre is sincere)

 

Heero: (to Tabitha) You handle yourself well, maybe you should join my class with Mary.

 

Quatre makes a noise of disgust.

 

Heero: SHOOT!  What time is it?!

 

Duo: Ah (checking watch) 9:30.

 

Heero: Shoot. (Gets up and leaves the room in a hurry)

 

Everyone crowds around the window, sure enough they see Heero sneaking off to Relena's school.

 

** Tabitha decided to take Murder 101, but also Circus (she could always take science next year!)

 

****Saturday-Tess had to move <Boo Hoo> So we all watched her <Hee Hee> Duo even brought popcorn.

Tabitha's 3-day suspension passes-M, M &T all walk together towards their class. Quatre and Trowa wait for them. Quatre and Mary hold hands automatically, while Trowa and Tabitha stare at each other a while until Tabitha grabbed Trowa's hand. They start to walk to history. Duo catches up with them. He runs to Melissa and grabs her hand.

 

Melissa: What the-

 

Duo: Couldn't help but notice that you were the only lovely lady of this group who was all by her lonesome. Thought I would come keep you company.

 

Melissa: Well aren't you just the perfect gentleman?

 

Duo: YEP!

 

1st period

 

Lucrezia: Welcome back Tabitha! Here is her homework. Your partner is Trowa.

 

Tabitha: Partner?

 

Melissa: We have to do a report on a major country of power during the 20th century, using the Christen calendar. Duo and I are doing the U. F. A.

 

Duo: U. S. A! Woman, this was your ancestor_s home! Get it right!

 

Melissa: Sorry!

 

Tabitha: Thanks for telling me about it!

 

Quatre: We though it would be a good surprise for you, having Trowa as a partner.

 

Tabitha: WELL (Glance at Trowa) it is!

 

Period 3rd

 

Mr. Green: Tabitha (bows low) so gracious of you to grace me with your presence.

 

Tabitha: Quite welcome, my humble servant!

 

Trowa and Tabitha sit together. Tabitha notices that the class begins to whisper.

 

Class:  Is that Tabitha?

             Yea.

                Look at her lip.

                And how about her face?

                How about her hand?

                Ewe! She has bloody knuckles!

                Bloody knuckles! She_s bloody knuckles!

 

Before class was done everyone was calling her _bloody knuckles_.

 

Lunch Tabitha and Trowa get there first.

 

Trowa: Bloody knuckles, it fits.

 

Tabitha: Hey.

 

She playfully pushes him. He smiles at her. He can't help himself, he kisses her.

 

Duo: *clears throat*

 

Tabitha and Trowa look up at him.

 

Duo: Man Trowa! Gonna marry her in a week?!

 

Tabitha blushes and stares at her food. The rest sit down.

 

Heero: Did you hear about the toy store? They are stockpiling teddy bears.

 

Close attention of rest of boys.

 

Trowa: Really? Where?

 

Heero: Don't know, close to Relena's school, I think.

 

Duo: When?

 

Heero: I think around prom night.

 

Duo: Oh, MAN!

 

Wufei: We should go to the cheerleaders.

 

All boys stand up and leave. Melissa, Mary and Tabitha stare at each other.

 

Mary: (hushed)  Teddy Bears means enemies!

 

Melissa: (hushed) And they are going to attack on prom night.

 

Tabitha: They call their Gundams cheerleaders!

 

All tension is broken as the girls start laughing.

 

Mary: I bet Quatre came up with teddy bears.

 

Tabitha: It_s obvious that Duo came up with cheerleaders!

 

All laugh.

 

Tabitha: I don_t see why Heero let Wing ZERO be called a cheerleader.

 

Mary: How about Wufei?

 

All laugh. Tabitha stares at the path the boys took to leave.

 

Tabitha: One of these days we are going to have to follow them.

 

Next Day After school Tabitha_s Room

Trowa and Tabitha are starting their report. They begin to kiss.<WOW!!!>

 

Melissa_s room

Duo and Melissa are starting their report.

 

Duo: I like this room.

 

Melissa: (looking at him) You blend well.

 

Duo: Where does this lead to?

 

He walks to the door that leads to Tabitha's room.

 

Melissa: T's room.

 

Duo: Cool. (opens door) Hey guys!

 

Trowa and Tabitha are on the floor kissing. As Duo walks in they look up at him. Melissa grabs Duo by the arm and pulls him back into her room.

 

*Lunch-Next Day

 

Tabitha: So when's the prom?

 

Heero: Why? You are too young to go anyway.

 

Melissa: Not if someone asks her.

 

Trowa: Uh...

 

Heero: I don't think any of us will be going to the prom.

 

Mary: Oh, right the teddy bears will be attacking!

 

Duo: Gee, how did you see through our ingenious code?

 

Mary: The same time we saw Deathscythe Hell with pompoms rooting for our home team.

 

Duo turns a pale shade of green, Quatre laughs and Duo hands Quatre a 20.

 

Tabitha: So when is the prom?! I hate it when people don't answer questions!

 

Wufei: Week before end of school.

 

Everyone jumps, they had all forgotten Wufei was there.

 

Tabitha: Thank-you, Wufei. At least someone will answer my questions!

 

Wufei: Your welcome.

 

All stare.

 

Duo: O.K. aliens have taken over Wufei! Head for the hills!

 

Tabitha: So, when is the report due?

 

Quatre: Come on, Duo! We all know that aliens don't exist, along with ghosts.

 

Duo: Speaking of ghosts, guess what I found in the haunted bathroom.

 

Tabitha jumps on the table in anger.

 

 Tabitha: Dang it people! Answer me when I ask a question!

 

Everyone: In a week!

 

Tabitha back-flips off the table.

 

Trowa: Excellent! A on the back flip!

 

Tabitha: Thanks, it is a wonder what I can do when I'm mad. But that hurt my knuckles! (Sits) And they are all bruised. Plus this is my right hand. Do you have any idea how hard it is to write!

 

Mary: Well, I've got a broken leg!

 

Tabitha: Well ... (head down) O.K., you have it worse.

 

Melissa: So, what did you see in the haunted bathroom, Duo?

 

Tabitha blushes.

 

Tabitha: So how about those Nicks?

 

Duo: Trowa and Tabitha. Should have seen it! Tabitha was sitting between the sinks and Trowa was kissing her! Very sweet and romantic like, felt like a soap opera.

 

Quatre: Duo, I don't think Trowa and Tabitha-

 

Duo: And Tabitha said, " Uhm, Mr. Green sent us to get stuff and do stuff, and why am I telling you this anyway ?!" while Trowa just stood there looking at me. (Laughs like crazy)

 

Tabitha: Yea, yea, hysterical!

 

Bell Rings_Duo & Melissa decided to go to fast food for their free period. They go to  Napoleon's Hole-In-The-Wall Burger Joint. While they stand in line they over hear a conversation.

 

Ed: Hey Edd!

 

Edd: Hey Ed.

 

Ed: Hear what the mistress did?

 

Edd: Yea, she found the enemy.

 

Ed: Made of gundamium alloy.

 

Duo: (under breath) S#$%!

 

They leave restaurant. Minute's later Duo runs into Trowa's classroom. The students are taking a test.

 

Duo: THE CHEERLEADERS!! WE HAVE TO SAVE THE CHEERLEADERS!!! WE HAVE TO SAVE THEM FROM THE RABIED TEDDY BEARS!!

 

Duo notices Trowa's not there.

 

Duo: Where's your teacher?

 

Students look at him in shock than point to the door to the supply room. Duo opens the door.

 

Duo: Oh, FIGURES!! I'm dealing with a crisis here and what's your excuse this time!

 

Tabitha: Well, Mr. Barton wanted my help to get stuff for stuff and why am I telling you this anyway?!

 

Duo: Never mind, Trowa I need your P.A. system. The cheerleaders are in trouble!

 

Trowa: S#$%!

 

Duo: That's what I said.

 

Trowa points to his P.A. system and Duo runs to it.

 

Tabitha: Are you sure it's wise to let a crazy person talk to the entire school?

 

Duo: (over P.A.) Attention all cheerleader boys! The cheerleaders are about to be attacked by rapid teddy bears that will smother them to DEATH! Please report to the Garden of Eden pronto!

 

Trowa: Not the best moment of my life.

 

Duo: (off P.A.) Let_s go.

 

Trowa: Class finish your tests then practice back flips. Bobby is in charge.

 

Tabitha: Good luck.

 

Duo: (On way out) That's what Mel said.

 

Saturday Lunch time Girls in Tabitha's room eating cheese sandwiches

Roomers of Mobile Suit battle fly around town. Girls have heard nothing from boys.

 

*Tabitha's phone rings Tabitha grabs it frantically*

 

Tabitha: Hello? Trowa! Are you all right? & O, good & Sure, come on over. (Hang up) The boys are coming over.

 

--Few min. later--

 

*Knock, Knock*

Tabitha opens door.

 

Tabitha: Trowa!

 

She hugs him around his neck. He is taken aback for a second, he pats her back then hugs her back.

 

Duo: Here I come to say the DAY!!!

 

Duo strides into the room and sees the cheese sandwiches.

 

Duo: Wow! Food! I want some! I want some!

 

So they all decided to go to Nap. Hole-In-The-Wall Burger Joint.

 

Tabitha: Don't do that again. I was scared out of my wits! I had the ditch dream! Granted it was good inspiration for my drawings.

 

Melissa: Dude, this is what they do for a living, well not a living but a cause, dude, a cause!

 

Tabitha: Dude?

 

Tabitha & Melissa: DUDE!!

 

 They crack up. People look as Melissa and Tabitha start cracking up laughing.

 

Duo: I don't get it!

 

Trowa: What did you mean drawings?

 

Tabitha: Um, nothing, nothing at all! (Hums)

 

Mary: What do you mean?!

 

Trowa: You draw ?!

 

Duo: I think you forgot to mention this tidbit of information.

 

Quatre: Can we see?

 

Tabitha: NO!

 

Trowa: Why?

 

Tabitha: Because I said no, that's why.

 

Duo: Just like with the Stuff!

 

Tabitha: The stuff is none of your business! Do you want to know all the details as to why Trowa and I make-out?

 

Duo: Of course!

 

More people look.

 

Trowa: No!

 

Wufei: There they are!

 

Melissa: (low voice) Ed and Edd.

 

Heero: Talk like normal.

 

Mary: Man, we have that report due!

 

Duo: Joys of being cheerleader guys partner, Noin gave us en extension.

 

M, M & T: Cool!

 

Melissa and Tabitha look at each other.

 

M & T: DUDE!!

 

Rest of people look.

 

Duo: So Trowa, when are you going to ask Tabitha on a date?

 

Trowa: (Shocked) Uh... uh...

 

Duo: I mean Quatre and Mary, who we never see kiss, have been on plenty of dates. While you and Tabitha, Who I always find kissing, haven't been on one!

 

Heero eyed Ed and Edd until they left, then he turned to face the others.

 

Heero: Let's go.

 

Duo: But I want an answer! Oww! Someone kicked me!

 

Trowa who has an innocent look on his face (which is rare) starts to hum (even rarer!)

 

*Back at Tabitha's room-Everyone enters but Trowa, who pulls Tabitha aside.

 

Trowa: About what Duo said-

 

Tabitha: Don't worry I won't tell him the reasons.

 

Trowa: No

 

He looks around the hallway and, seeing no one there, opens his mouth to speak. She hushes him and kicks her door.

 

Duo's Voice: Owww!

 

Tabitha: Go on.

 

Trowa: About the date.

 

Tabitha: (with look of anticipation on her face) Yea...

 

Trowa: (hushed to make sure Duo can't hear) How 'bout tonight.

 

The go into the room. Everyone is in their spots-Mary on chair, Quatre leaning on her, Melissa in her "spot" and Heero, Duo and Wufei are sitting (in that order) on the sofa. Duo is rubbing his head. Tabitha and Trowa walk to the bed, Tabitha sits on Trowa's lap.

 

Duo: So, Mary, when is your leg going to be fixed.

 

Mary: The cast comes off a week after beginning of 4th quarter.

 

Duo: Cool but-

 

The phone rings and Tabitha groans, she had just gotten comfortable. She gets up and answers the phone.

 

Tabitha: Hello Oh, hi, Mr. Green... About what?... No, tonight is not a good time, how about tomorrow?... Well how about Monday after class?.. O.K., see you then... How did you guess?...  HA, HA ... O.K ...Bye.

 

She turns and Duo is right in her face. She screams.

 

Duo: So you and Trowa are going on a date?

 

Tabitha: What makes you think that?

 

Duo: Well, I didn't hear the whole conversation, but Mr. Green said you and Trowa are going on a date.

 

Trowa: No, we are working on our report, but we called a date.

 

Duo: Homework! On the weekend! Man, I didn't know you were that odd!

 

Quatre: That's what Mary and I are doing!

 

Heero: So are Relena and I-

 

Duo: Relena?! She isn't in our class!

 

Wufei: I had other stuff to do.

 

Duo: What stuff?

 

Wufei: Other homework.

 

Duo: O, yea, for your (finger quotes) other classes.

 

Phone rings. Tabitha answers it.

 

Tabitha: Hello?... Heero? (looks at Heero) Relena?!

 

Heero: Yea, hey Tabitha, I gave Relena your phone number, just in case she needed to get a hold of me.

 

Duo begins to laugh.

 

Tabitha: Thanks for telling me!

 

Heero: Sorry, you don't mind do you?

 

Tabitha: No (hands him phone)

 

Heero: Hi Relena...no...O.K...See ya! (hangs up) Gotta Go! (Leaves)

 

Duo laughs harder.

 

Trowa: How could he give your number away?

 

Tabitha: It's just Relena, Trowa, you know the pacifist! I doubt she is an ax murder.

 

Trowa: Yea, but-

 

Duo: Man Trowa, what are you getting all worked up about?

 

Trowa: O, come on Duo! If you had a girlfriend, you would understand!

 

Duo: Dude, don't rub it in.

 

Later that day-

Trowa and Tabitha go to the movies together. The theater was already dark when the found their seats. It did not take long for them to get bored of the movie. (And we all know what happens when a couple gets bored with the movie in a dark theater) Trowa leans in to kiss Tabitha. As soon as their lips touch the person behind them clears his throat. They turned to find...DUO!

 

Duo: Man what is with you two?!

 

Trowa: How?...Why?...

 

Tabitha: Duo, if you followed us I swear you will meet "Bloody Knuckles."

 

Duo: Man, paranoid! Whatever happened to going to the movies to see a movie?

 

Tabitha: Yea, well every time Trowa and me kiss there you are!

 

Duo: Trowa and  I.

 

Tabitha: What?

 

Duo: Just correcting your English.

 

Trowa: Let's go.

 

Tabitha: Yea. (Getting up) Hope the movie is good.

 

Duo: It will be now that I don't have two people, sucking face in front of me!

 

They leave. Duo sits back to enjoy the movie. A new couple comes and sits in front Duo and begins to make out.

Later-Trowa and Tabitha stand outside dorms kissing. Duo walks by.

 

Duo: Movie sucked and it's almost lights out, so you two better wrap this up.

 

Next day lunch-All at lunch table-Wufei is no longer pouting and is doing his homework

 

Heero: Maybe we should go to the prom.

 

Duo: Relena's making you go, right?

 

Heero: Yea.

 

Mary: In that case Melissa, Tabitha and I need dates. Hint, hint, HINT!

 

She pushes Quatre, who bumps into Trowa, and just for kicks, she also kicks Duo. (No pun intended)

 

Duo: Owww! Stop playing feetises with me!

 

Heero: (reading Wufei's homework) "Rights of Women?"

 

Wufei pulls paper away.

 

Wufei: Yea. So what?

 

Duo gets up and grabs the report.

 

Duo: (clears throat) "Rights of Women-By Chang Wufei. The rights of women are grossly undermined. Men still think of themselves superior. My Sisterhood teacher Ca-

 

Wufei grabs the paper back.

 

Wufei: Not funny, Maxwell.

 

Duo: Pretty darn funny to me.

 

He starts to laugh. A girl walks up to him.

 

Girl: Um, Duo Maxwell?

 

Duo: (stops laughing to look at her) Yea?

 

Girl: My friend asked me to give this to you.

 

She hands him a note. He takes it.

 

Duo: Um, O.K.

 

She walks away to her own table group. All of her friends giggle.

 

Tabitha: I think she has a crush on you, Duo.

 

Melissa grabs the note and begins to read it.

 

Melissa: "Dear Duo, I'm in your Astronomy class."

 

Duo tries to grab the note, but Melissa hands it to Tabitha.

 

Tabitha: "I think you are really cute and funny" Aw! Isn't that special. "If you aren't going out with  anyone"

 

Duo tries to grab the note again. Tabitha hands it to Trowa.

 

Trowa: " How about going"

 

Duo tired once more to grab it, but Trowa hands the note to Heero.

 

Heero: "Out with me? I'm really the girl who handed you this note."

 

Duo tackles Heero but not before Wufei grabbed the note.

 

Wufei: " My name is Bobbie, and my number is 555-3212"

 

Everyone but Duo: Awww!

 

Duo starts to blush. He finally gets the note (then only because they were done with it) and sat down to stare at his food.

 

Melissa: (trying to sound casual) So you going to call her?

 

She looks at Bobbie's table. Bobbie is staring at Duo hopefully. She decides to give up.

 

Melissa: Because she seems to really like you.

 

Later-Tabitha's room

Heero and Wufei are out. (Everyone knows Heero is at Relena's-However where is Wufei?) Duo is lying on the sofa. Trowa and Tabitha are lying on their stomachs on Tabitha's bed, holding hands. Mary is on the chair, Quatre is by her. Melissa is in her "spot".

 

Quatre: So, Duo, are you going to call Bobbie?

 

Duo: Don't know.

 

Trowa: Can we talk about something else?

 

Tabitha: How 'bout the prom?

 

Duo: What is it with you and the prom?

 

Tabitha: Well, I'm excited about having a boyfriend! I mean I've never had a real boyfriend before! Only a bunch of jerks, who want my body, and Trowa won't be a jerk, will you Trowa? Plus he's a senior, and-

 

Melissa: Careful T, or you'll give away your secret shrine.

 

Quatre: Shrine?!

 

Tabitha: It's her way telling me I sound obsessed.

 

Duo: You do.

 

Tabitha: (Head down) Sorry.

 

*Phone Rings*

Tabitha gets up and answers it.

 

Tabitha: Hello?...O.K... (To Gundam boys in room) It's Heero. He says that the Tiger Princess has discovered The Girls Locker Room.

 

Mary: (catching on to code) Why would Relena want to find the Gundams?

 

 Quatre: She has been trying to get something on Heero a while now.

 

Duo: Bribing material.

 

Mary: Maybe we should join up with her. You know the "Girls-Out-To-Annoy-The-Gundam-Boys" Club-Excluding Quatre, of course.

 

Faint "Ha Ha" from phone.

 

Quatre: We should go.

 

Boys get up to leave. Mary looks up a Quatre.

 

Mary: Bye.

 

Quatre pecks her on the check.

 

Quatre: Bye.

 

Duo: Wow! You do know how to kiss her!

 

Quatre: Funny Duo.

 

Duo: Yeeeaaa, now your getting it.

 

Trowa grabs the phone from Tabitha.

 

Trowa: The cheerleaders should be moved to the Training Room.

 

Mary: Wufei came up with that one!

 

Duo: Here we come, cheerleaders!

 

Duo swings open the door, then point dramatically down the hallway.

 

Duo: Tallyho!

 

Melissa: You enjoy that code name a little too much!

 

Duo: Yep!

 

The 3 boys leave. After only a second Tabitha runs out into the hallway as well.

 

Tabitha: Wait! What are our names?

 

Duo: Tabitha, Melissa and Mary.

 

Tabitha: No, stupid, our code-names!

 

Duo: If we told you it would ruin our ingenious ideas!

 

Tabitha: Fine then be that way I see how you are!

 

She runs back into her room. The boys look at each other.

 

Duo: We should really code name them.

 

Quatre: Yea.

 

Trowa nods in agreement. They walk off.

 

*Later that day*

Duo runs into Tabitha's room.

 

Duo: Hide me! Quick!

 

Duo quickly ducks under her bed. There is a knock at the door. One of Bobbie's friends is standing there.

 

Tabitha: Hi.

 

Bobbie's friend: Is Duo there?

 

Tabitha: No.

 

Bobbie's friend: Is he going to go out with Bobbie?

 

Tabitha: I don't know.

 

Bobbie's friend: Does he go out with your cousin?

 

Tabitha: No.

 

Bobbie's friend: Cool! O.K. Bye then.

 

Tabitha closes the door.

 

Tabitha: Duo, she's gone.

 

_uo: This is cool!

 

Tabitha: DUO! What are you doing?

 

Duo: You are very good at this.

 

Tabitha: DUO! You better not be looking at anything under there, or I'll Kill you!

 

Duo: You sound like Heero!

 

Tabitha: Duo Maxwell! I swear-

 

Melissa walks in from her room. Trowa walks in from the hallway.

 

Melissa: Did you say Duo?

 

Duo: Hi Mel!

 

Melissa ducks to see Duo under the bed.

 

Melissa: Duo? Put that down!

 

Trowa: Put what down?

 

Duo: A drawing book! With lots of pictures of you!

 

Trowa: Really?

 

Melissa grabs the book from Duo and heads for her room. Trowa follows her, and doesn't let her close the door.

Mary walks in.

 

Mary: What's all the commotion?

 

She looks at Trowa straining to open the door to Melissa's room.

 

Duo: Ow!

 

Trowa: What's wrong? (Strong push against Melissa)

 

Duo: My hair is stuck!

 

Tabitha and Mary begin to laugh.

 

Duo: Yes, yes, very funny!

 

Trowa pushes the door open and grabs the book from Melissa, then he bends to help Duo. They sit on the sofa and begin looking at the pictures.

 

Duo: I like that one, and that one. That one is O.K.

 

Tabitha: Oh yea, just go ahead and look at those private things. I mean you might as well read my diary-(slowly & softly) if I had a dairy.

 

Trowa: You draw well.

 

He turns the book sideways and Duo and Mary tilt their heads to look at the drawing the right way.

 

Melissa: Tabitha!

 

Tabitha: My drawings are my shrine, although there nothing like Melissa's-

 

Melissa moves quickly to put her hand over Tabitha's mouth. Then she pulls Tabitha into her room and closes the door.

 

Duo: Melissa's what?

 

Both Mary and Trowa shrug. Just then Tabitha rushes into the room. She grabs the book from Trowa than sprints back to Melissa's room. Melissa quickly locks the door from her side. Duo gets up and tries to open the door, seeing it's locked he unlocks it from his side. Tabitha, however, quickly relocks it. 

 

Duo: Hey!

 

Melissa quickly moves the wardrobe back in place as Duo unlocks the door once more. Tabitha relocks it. Trowa gets up to help Duo. Duo unlocks the door and Trowa turns the door handle. They burst into an empty room. Tabitha and Melissa enter Tabitha's room from the main entrance.

 

Duo: Hey! I want to see the rest of the pictures.

 

Melissa: Well, too bad!

 

Trowa: Cool room.

 

Melissa: Yea, yea, don't get all-complementary on me now.

 

She leads Duo out of her room and Trowa follows them.

 

Duo: Oh, baby, I love it when you take me places.

 

Next day-1st period

Melissa, Mary and Tabitha already there. The other students will present their reports to the class.

Quatre is the first Gundam boy there.

 

Quatre: (to Melissa) Duo called Bobbie last night and set a date with her.

 

Melissa: Good for him.

 

Quatre: Mel, I know how you feel about him. You can't hide it from me.

 

Melissa: If Duo gets a real girlfriend, then I'm happy for him.

 

Duo and Heero walk in.

 

Quatre: (whispers) You could be that real girlfriend.

 

Quatre leaves to take his seat.

 

*Lunch-

Quatre is sitting alone. Mary and shows up.

 

Mary: Where is Melissa?

 

Quatre: She wasn't feeling well last period. She went to her room. Will probably be there the rest of the day.

 

Mary: I think we should tell Duo.

 

Duo: Tell me what?

 

Quatre: That Mel is happy for you, since you are going out with Bobbie now.

 

Duo: (looking around) Where is she?

 

Quatre: She wasn't feeling well last period, she went to her room.

 

Duo: Oh.

 

Bobbie: Hi Duo!

 

Duo: Hey Bobbie. What's up?

 

Bobbie: (very rushed) Just wanted to say hi! My friends and I have big social planning to do! Stuff you and your friends wouldn't get, you know how it is! (Valley-girl laugh) Well bye!

 

She leaves. Everyone looks at the back of her head with puzzled expressions on their faces. Trowa walks to the table and sees Bobbie.

 

Trowa: I still don't believe you are going out with her.

 

Duo: Why not?

 

Quatre: She isn't your type.

 

Duo turns to Quatre.

 

Duo: My type? She has got legs, buns and breasts, what's not to love?

 

Quatre: How 'bout resourcefulness and humor?

 

Trowa: Where is Tabitha?

 

Mary: Mr. Green's, remember?

 

Trowa: Oh yea.

 

*Mr. Green's room-

 

Mr. Green: Tabitha, this is Kyle.

 

Tabitha: Hey. So Mr. Green what did you want me here for?

 

Mr. Green: You and Kyle have both won scholarships to a supreme college, but hey only have two openings One at the end of this year, one at the end of your senior year.

 

Tabitha: Wow.

 

She sits down because of her shock.

 

Kyle: Way cool.

 

He sits next to Tabitha and smile the let's-be-more-than-friends  smile, however, she is too shocked to notice.

 

Mr. Green: Now, there is a lot to talk about. Can you take off your next classes?

 

Tabitha: Sure. (Laughs)

 

They talk the rest of the day. Kyle and Tabitha decide to walk to the dorms together just as the Gundam boys come home from a friendly chat with the "cheerleaders".

 

Trowa: (about Kyle) I don't like that guy. Can we kill that guy? Can I kill that guy? Can Heavyarms step on that guy?

 

Quatre: No, Trowa, to all of the above.

 

Trowa: Oh, O.K. (head down) doesn't mean I can't do something.

 

He runs to catch up with Tabitha and Kyle.

 

Trowa: Hey.

 

Tabitha: I don_t want to talk to you.

 

Trowa: Why?

 

Tabitha: Because of what you did!

 

Trowa: You mean the pictures?

 

Tabitha: That's the 1st reason.

 

Trowa: They were just pictures.

 

Tabitha: They are more than just pictures! There my feeling, mind, &... life. And because you don't get that is part of the problem.

 

Duo starts sniggering. Tabitha walks up to him and slaps him. He looks at her stunned.

 

Tabitha: You   you JERK!

 

She storms off to her dorm. Kyle follows her. Duo (wanting to make amends) follows him.

 

Kyle: Are you all right?

 

Tabitha: Fine. The guy I like isn't much of a person. His end of the conversation is "Uh-hu" and "No" and "Sure". I like talking about photography and stuff. Like today, in Mr. Green's room, when we were talking.

 

Kyle: That was cool.

 

He kisses her just as Duo comes around the corner. He sees them kissing then runs back to his room to tell Trowa. Tabitha pushes Kyle off of her and slaps him

 

Kyle: I'm sorry!

 

Melissa opens the door to check out what was going on. She sees Tabitha and Kyle. Tabitha sees that Melissa's eyes are red.

 

Melissa: Tabitha? Are you O.K?

 

Tabitha: I'm fine. (Looks at Kyle) Bye Kyle.

 

Kyle takes a hint and leaves. Tabitha goes into Melissa's room to tell her what happened. Halfway to tell Trowa Duo decided to keep what he saw to himself, thinking that Tabitha should be the one to tell him.

 

Next Day 1st Period

Tabitha does not talk to Duo or Trowa. Duo does not talk to Tabitha. And Trowa dose not talk at all.

 

3rd period

 

Mr. Green: Tabitha, Kyle told me to tell you that he's taking the now opening.

 

Tabitha: Oh, O.K.

 

Next day 5th Period Drama-Teacher is Mr. Carson

 

Mr. Carson: We will be putting on the play "A Tale of Two Women". It's about a guy named James who is married to a woman named Mandy. James's best friend is a drunk named Freddy. James has an affair with a woman named Jane. Mandy learns about this because Jane's sister, Callie, tells her. Auditions will be held after school.

 

Tabitha tried out for Mandy-got Jane. Mary tried for Mandy-got Callie. Quatre got Freddy and Duo got James. Melissa got Mandy.

 

*Reading the cast list

 

Tabitha: I got the mistress!

 

Duo has Bobbie under his arm.

 

Duo: (mumbles) Fits.

 

Melissa: Yes! Sorry T, I got Mandy!

 

Mary: Quatre, I don't see you as a drunk!

 

Quatre: Well that's the point of acting!

 

Mr. Carson: Here are your scripts. Rehearsals next week.

 

All leave. Kyle is waiting for Tabitha.

 

Tabitha: Oh, hi Kyle. How may I help you?

 

Kyle: I left my camera in your room.

 

Tabitha: O.K. come on then.

 

Kyle: About the kiss

 

Tabitha: Look Kyle what happened, happened. I know you have feeling for me, But I have none for you. I know what it is like to be around someone you like who does not care for you the way you care for them. I would hate for anyone to go through that, so we can't be friends.

 

Kyle: But wouldn't it be worse to know that you ruined a friendship that could have been?

 

Tabitha: Kyle, you are hoping for this to become something it will never become, and I don't want to lead you on like that.

 

Kyle: But...

 

Tabitha: We are here, so you can get your camera and leave, I need to be alone.

 

Kyle: (Sigh) O.K.

 

He takes his camera and leaves, closing the door behind him.

 

*Next day 1st period*

 

Lucrezia: So the sins were pardoned. Any questions? Tabitha since you were paying real close attention on the lesson, why don't you sum it up?

 

Tabitha: Sorry Mrs. Peacecraft, but my mind wondered.

 

Duo: Can I answer? Can I? Can I? Can I?

 

*Bell rings.*

 

Lucrezia: Tabitha, a word please.

 

Tabitha walks up to her.

 

Lucrezia: Now, what is wrong?

 

Tabitha looks away, a bit embarrassed.

 

Lucrezia: You are one of my best students and I hate to think that something could be causing your schoolwork to lack so please tell me!

 

Tabitha: It's personal.

 

Lucrezia: Well try not to have it reflect badly on our schoolwork.

 

Tabitha leaves. Mary and Melissa are waiting for her.

 

Mary: What did she want?

 

Tabitha: She said my schoolwork was lacking.

 

Melissa: It's Trowa, uh?

 

Tabitha nods.

 

*Rehearsal*

Sc.Freddy and James talk about Jane.

 

Quatre: Man, you lucky. (Drink) You got two

 

Mr. Carson: No, no Quatre try to be more drunk.

 

Quatre: Two lovely!

 

Mr. Carson: Too drunk use that after you find out James is paying.

 

Sc. James and Jane

 

Tabitha: What about me, James, do you love me?!

 

Duo: I don_t know. I love Mandy, Jane, my wife, and this has gone on too long.

 

Tabitha: What are you saying James?

 

Duo: I'M SAYING I DON'T WANT YOU!

 

Mr. Carson: No Duo, you don_t want to hurt her.

 

Duo: (Under breath) Yes I do.

 

Last sc.-Mandy and James

 

Melissa: I can't take this James. I love you and I HATE you! I had to have a perfect stranger tell me something YOU should have told me a year ago, James, a YEAR! I dedicated 5 years to you James, and you only 4 to me. All because I was a fool! You fooled me James and I hate you.

 

Duo: I love you Mandy, not her!

 

Melissa: I don't believe you.

 

Duo grabs her and kisses her.

 

Mr. Carson: No, no Melissa. Don't pull back until after the kiss, Kindda fall into it, remember she still loves him. Start at "I love you Mandy".

 

Duo: I love you Mandy, not her!

 

Melissa: I don't believe you.

 

He grabs her and kisses her sweetly.

 

Duo: Now do you believe me?

 

Melissa pulls herself away from him.

 

Melissa: No.

 

She turns and walks away.

 

Duo: Well there goes the love of my life.

 

He picks up his coat from the chair and heads for the door.

 

Duo: Wonder if Fred is still at the pub?

 

Mr. Carson: Wonderful everyone! See you next week!

 

Melissa, Mary, Tabitha and Quatre group together. Quatre sees Duo leaving.

 

Quatre: Hey Duo! Aren't you coming?

 

Duo: Nope, date with Bobbie remember?

 

Quatre: Oh yea, bye.

 

Duo walks away.

 

Tabitha: Mustn't be late with his date with Barbie!

 

Mary and Quatre laugh. "Barbie" is the group name for Bobbie.

 

Melissa: You guys go ahead. I'm tried.

 

Quatre: Are you O.K?

 

Melissa: Fine.

 

She starts to walk to her room.

 

Tabitha: Wait up Mel!

 

Melissa stops to look back at Tabitha.

 

Tabitha: These two need a date.

 

She and Melissa go to the dorms. Mary and Quatre go out to eat.
