| Duo Maxwell's parents were killed in the War after Heero Yuy's death. He wondered from colony to colony and one day found himself on a colony of the L-2 cluster and with a friend, another orphan by the name of Solo, who was the leader of a little gang. When an illness spread throughout the colony Solo caught it and the meds cost money, something Duo and his new-found friends didn't have, so Duo broke into the hospital and stole some, only to return to late to save his friend. He gave the meds to the other orphans and waited to die, but didn't. He figured that Solo's soul was watching him and that they would always be a spirtual duo, so this nameless orphan found something to call himself, "Duo". Now that Solo was dead Duo became the leader of the street gang. One day he came up with a plan that ticked of the Feds, who in return, ticked off the locals, who blamed it on Duo and his friends. The orphans were forced to live in a church (Maxwell Church) where all of them got familes, but Duo who was sent back beacuse he would always get in fights. Anywho, the nun Sister Helen and the Father of Maxwell Church became Duo's family. On day Rebels came to the church and Duo agreed to go get them a suit. He returned to find Maxwell Church rubble, the Father dead and Sister Helen dying. With her last breath Sister Helen asked God to bless Duo. This event became known as the 'Maxwell Church Tragedy. Duo found himself a last name as he was always calles "Maxwell's Duo", or something like that. With his family dead Duo became a wonderer once agian. Then one day he broke into Pro. G's so-called 'secure' ship, impressing the dude with the big nose and getting himself a job as a Gundam pilot... |
