The Japanese flag and the U.S. flag @ Fuji
This is the boat  we took to Camp Fuji ( this boat ride sucked, we had no food and it lasted 26 hrs.
Marine Corps fighter jets. we use them for recon. though
The base of Mt Fuji is 18 miles around. the elevation  Camp Fuji is at is 7042 feet. Mt Fuji is 12,200 feet high. And i get to climb this bad boy. sounds like fun right? yeah right. well the last time Mt Fuji erupted was before America was dicovered. the esh was so think it sucked out alot of oxygen in the area. Camp Fui still rests on 12 feet of ash. Toyko had 6 inches of ash. and Toyko is 120 miles away. HISTORY
I was in Okinawa from June 14th 2001 to july 17th. then i went to Mt Fuji and returned to okinawa on August 27th i was half way through my last 6 month deployment. I go back to the United States DECEMBER 10th 2001. what a great day that will be. After that i have six months left in the Marine Corps. (June 6th 2002) I get out thirty days early.
OUT OF ALL THE DISTRUCTION AND CHOAS THAT HAPPENED AT THE PENTAGON ONE FLAG STILL REMAINS TO STAND TALL
