Chapter Twelve: The Plan

"Eureka!!!" shouted Max in the computer room two mornings later.
"What?" asked Rita as she came in with Donny and a cup of coffee.
"I found dimension Silos5!" exclaimed Max.
"You did?!" Donny and Rita asked together.
     "Yes!" said Max.
"But how? I thought that it didn't exist." said Rita.
"And that's true too." said Max.
"Wait, okay, now I'm officially confused." said Donny.
"Okay, it's like this. When I was younger, I had to have a name for each dimension, so I usually used their coordinate, like Vega12 or something like that." said Max. "But I couldn't use the entire name for the center dimension because it was so long, so I used the abbreviation, which is Silos."
"So we were right to suspect the center dimension all along." said Rita.
      "Exactly." said Max.
"You said that you called the center dimension Silos. But the dimension we're looking for is Silos5." said Donny.
"Ah, you're right my friend. Since the dimension is so large, I named it's different sections as well, and Silos5 is one area in the Midwest. And that's where the medallion is." said Max.
"Cool Max, good work." said Rita.
"Yeah. Unfortunately, Tirus has seems to closing in more on that area as well, he's been circling mostly that area, si we're going to have to act quickly. That means that
all of us are going to have to go down there to search for the exact location of the medallion." said Max.
"Desperate times call for desperate measures." said Donny.
"Precisely." said Max. Then he turned to a small speaker on the wall, and pressed a button on it. "Will everyone in HQ please come to the control room immediately. Please come to Control Room Floor 7 immediately." he said into it.
"I think you should say that a little louder for the two in the kitchen." said Lavia, kind of giggling as she and Fay came in.
       "Why?" asked Max.
"Cos Mikey and Shelley were lip-lockin' in there last time I saw them." said Cori as she and Raph came into the room.
       "Goodness." Max said to himself.
Shelley and Mikey soon came in though, both apparently very happy.
"Well you two sure look sunny." said Rita.
      Shelley and Mikey smiled.
"So what's the big news?" asked Raph.
"I found out the section of the center dimension where the medallion is in, for sure." said Max proudly.
"Great, ok, so now what?" asked Cori.
"Well, I've previously been working on a very large travel ship that could hold all of us in it comfortably. I never really got to finish it." said Max. "The plan is to finish the travel ship, pack it with as many supplies as possible, and go to the center dimension with our locating equiptment, and find the medallion."
"Whoa, you mean we're going when we're not even sure exactly, precisely where the medallion is?" asked Fay.
"Well, we're not exactly sure, but it's in a certain midwest region that contains water. So that's where we'll be headed." said Max.
"Okay, so let me get this straight. You've got a plan to finish your travel ship, pack up, and head to the center dimension for the medallion. Right?" asked Lavia.
      "Precisely." said Max.
"Well, it sounds like a good plan to me. I mean, what else do we do?" asked Fay.
"Nothing. So all in agreement with carrying out the plan, raise your hand." said Max.
       Everyone raised their hand.
"Excellent. Now I've also thought up some things that I need each of you to do in preparation." said Max.
        "Like what?" asked Shelley.
"Well, first of all, the finishing of the travel ship will require as much work as possible. So Donatello and Rita, you both and I will be solely working on it." said Max.
"Okay, but who'll monitor the computers if Tirus makes another move?" asked Donny.
"No one. If the siren goes off, then we know what we have to do. But other than that, there will be a lot of work needing to be done on the travel ship." said Max.
"All right, sounds good to me." said Rita.
"Great." said Max. "Now, Lavia and Fay, I'm going to leave you two in charge of getting food and supplies in one of the safe dimensions. I'll you a list once I make it."
"With what money are we gonna buy this stuff with?" asked Lavia.
Max looked at them, giving them a look that communicated what he meant to say.
"Oh, no. Max, you want us to . . . steal food?" asked Fay.
"That idea makes me uncomfortable." said Lavia.
"Me too. Stealing is wrong." said Fay.
Max sighed. "Listen, we're broke. We used the last bits of money that we had on our last shopping trip. We're people stuck in a desolate dimension with no money, and no way of actually having time to get a job in another dimension. Besides, we'll be saving trillions of lives with this mission. The least that dimension can do is spare food." he said.
Lavia and Fay were silent, but nodded to show that they agreed to do what he said.
"Okay, now. Mikey, Leo, and Raph, I need you all to construct weapons, and to sharpen your own." said Max.
"Can and will do." said Raph, loving the idea of being in charge of weapons.
"And for Shelley, Venus, and Cori, you all are to go to battle-training. Tone up your physical fighting skills. I advise that everyone does that, but since this is pretty much the last assignment I can think of, that's what you all will do." said Max. "Okay everyone, let's get to work."
"Which floor is the travel ship on?" asked Donny.
       "Floor 2." said Max.
Donny then picked up a welding tool. "All right, let's go." he said.
"You two assess what needs to be done for a moment, while I write a list for Lavia and Fay." said Max.
"Yeah, the two thieves." said Lavia sarcastically.
Max just sighed as he wrote the list.
Donny and Rita went down to the 2nd floor.
Mikey, Raph, and Leo walked off to another room.
Shelley, Venus, and Cori all went to the elevator.
"We're gonna have ta, like, fight those beast things?" asked Shelley as they got into the elevator.
"Yeah. Why, you scared?" asked Cori.
"Uh, well, kinda. I mean, they look really like, mean." said Shelley, remembering how they looked from the windows of the ships when they were in her dimension.
"Well, you'll get used to 'em." said Cori. "You will too Shinobi girl."
"Why do you and Raphael enjoy referring me as 'Shinobi'? This is not my name, but what I am." said Venus with a frustrated tone.
"Okay okay, I'll call ya Venus then. Sheesh, how edgy can ya be?" asked Cori as the elevator went up.

Downstairs, Lavia and Fay prepared to leve for their shopping trip. They each got in seperate ships after Max gave them the list.
"Okay, the thieves are ready to go." said Fay.
"Will you two stop that? It's justified!" said Max.
      "Yeah right." said Lavia.
Max just sighed. "Ok, dimension Yaylah191 has the biggest CostCo I've ever seen. Get in there, get everything on the list, and run out of there." he said.
       "Got it." said Lavia.
"All right, we're on our way." said Fay.
"Great. Don't take too long now. We're all safest if we're here at HQ." said Max.
      "Okay." said Lavia.
The girls started up the engines of their ships, and flew out of the hangar.
Max watched on the computer as they flew off to the next dimension. He didn't want to leave the computer at this time, but he knew that he had to, and join Donny and Rita on the 2nd floor. So he got up from the computer, and went to the elevator.
      "Floor 2 please." said Max.
"Acknowledged." said the computer voice. Then the elevator went down.

Upstairs, Mikey, Leo, and Raph were using some old debris and stuff to make suitable weapons.
Raph had just constructed a metal weapon with prongs at each side, joined together by thin pieces of twisted metal in the middle. He held it up and admired it.
      "Good job Raph." said Leo.
"I know." bragged Raph as he admired it some more.
      Leo just shook his head.
Raph put the weapon down on a table where all the weapons were supposed to be placed.

In CostCo, Lavia and Fay just got to the store, and were walking around shopping with seperate carts.
"So after we get all the stuff, we just bust outta here huh?" asked Lavia.
"Yep. Like the thieves we are." said Fay sarcastically.
      Lavia sighed.
After shopping, they brought their carts to the front of the store, all chock full of groceries. They were about to exit when a security guard stopped them.
      "Receipt please." he said.
      "No receipt." said Fay.
"Well you're not leavin' the store with the merchandise then." said the guard while a few others came over.
Lavia and Fay looked at each other, then sighed as they turned back to the five security guards that now stood in front of them.
"Listen, we really have to go."  said Lavia.
"Well you're not going anywhere without a receipt." said another security guard.
Lavia took out her laser and pointed it at the guards, and the power ran up the laser's scale. "You're not gettin' a receipt. Just let us go." she said.
"We hate this stealing this too, but its necessary." said Fay as she and Lavia began walking out of the store.
"That, gun probably isn't even loaded." said one of the security guards as he boldly stepped forward, stopping Lavia and Fay.
Lavia pointed the laser gun at the floor, shot out a strong ray of red light that burst through the floor, and then pointed the gun back at the security guard.
        The security guards looked astonished.
Lavia just shrugged with an indifferent look on her face.

Outside, the girls hurriedly put the groceries into the back of their ships.
Just then, security guards, along with armed policeman began rushing towards the girls.
"Uh oh, we better get a move on, fast." said Lavia.
       "That's for sure." said Fay.
The girls then quickly closed the back of their ships, and ran to the front seats.
The police reached them just as the ships started up. They all stared in amazement as the ships lifted up their landing gear, and flew up into the air. Once in the air, the ships hit speed 8, and sped off into a vortex, and out of sight.
Everyone below just stood there staring. They hadn't seen the ships parked in that shadowy part of the parking lot, and were just amazed.
Twin little boys laughed. "Cool!" they exclaimed.
Their mother glanced at them, then looked back up at the sky.

In their ships, the girls sighed as they sailed through the vortex.
"Well Lav, we just accomplished our first heist." said Fay.
"Yeah. Hoorah, hoorah." said Lavia sarcastically.
      They then both just giggled.

Back at HQ, Lavia and Fay went straight to packing ample food supplies.
"How many bags of food do you think we'll need?" asked Fay.
"A lot. And extra, for Mikey and Shelly." said Lavia.
Fay giggled. "Yeah, them two eat more than any of us do." she said.
      "
That's fa sure." said Lavia with a smile.

Downstairs on the 2nd floor, Donny, Rita, and Max were tackling the ordeal of fixing up the large ship that they were going to travel in.
Donny opened a compartment on the ship's side. "What?
Another engine?" he asked.
"Yep. I put a good 4 engines on this baby. They're strong, and hardy. I think a 5th one might be a good idea. But as more of a backup engine just in case one of the main engines conks out or something." said Max.
Rita brushed some cobwebs from falling into the engine she was working on. "Man, these cobwebs sure are annoying! How in the world did spiders get in here anyway?" she asked.
"Eh, who knows." said Max. Then he continued working on the engine he was at.

Upstairs on the 8th floor, Venus, Shelley, and Cori were battle-training. Venus was teaching Shelley how to spar.
"Okay now, you have to be able to block any of my hits." said Venus.
Shelley was poised, and perspiring. She'd never had such a workout before. "Okay, I like, got it." she said.
         "Ready?" asked Venus.
         Shelley nodded.
         "Good." said Venus.
They both started sparring, with Shelley doing pretty well.
Cori stood at the side watching them while lifting weights. "That's it ladies, keep it goin. You can do it Shelley." cheered Cori.
Shelley turned her head for a moment to look at Cori, and got knocked in the face with a right hook from Venus. Shelley staggered a bit, then got her balance again.
        "
Never turn your back on your enemy, ever." Venus said firmly.
"I see why." said Shelley as she rubbed her cheek. "Ow." she muttered.

Raphael, Mikey, and Leo were almost done making weapons.
"Raph, why are all of your weapons so sharp?" asked Leo.
"Because, ya can't destroy 'em without spillin a lil blood." said Raph, a small grin forming on his face as he sharpened the edge of another weapon that he was making.
"Yeah Leo, these things are tough. And we have to beat 'em with whatever we can." agreed Mikey who was twisting two metal rods together to form a blunt metal staff.
Leo thought for a moment. Then he started sharpening the edge to a wooden staff that he had.
"Now you're talkin' Leo." said Raph.
Leo momentarily cracked a small smile.

It had been weeks of preparation; for both the Turtles' group, and Tirus'. Neither bothered the other, and even though this pleased the Turtles' group, they weren't happy knowing that Tirus was cooking up some plans of his own.

One night, everyone at HQ was heading to bed after a long day of preparations.
"I'm glad we're almost done with all of this work." said Lavia.
"Me too. This stuff is sooo tiring." said Fay as she and Lavia went to their rooms.
Donny was sitting at the computer designing some part that he planned on adding to the large travel ship.
Rita walked up behind him. "What are you still doing up?" she asked as she yawned. "Aren't you tired?"
"Yeah, but I just had to finish this." he said.
Rita smiled. "You diligent worker you." she said.
"Yep, that'd be me." Donny said with a small smile.
       Rita yawned again.
"You should go to bed." said Donny. "You worked very hard today."
"Yeah, I guess I did. All right, I'm going now." said Rita. Then she gently wrapped her arms around Donny's neck, and kissed him on the cheek.
Donny smiled, and turned to look at her. He smiled as he saw her pretty face, and kissed her.
After the kiss, they momentarily looked into each other's eyes, then Rita went off to bed.
Donny sighed as he continued working on the computer.
Upstairs, Shelley and Mikey were heading to their separate rooms, hand in hand. They were talking and laughing with each other.
"Aww, ain't that cute?" teased Cori as she passed by them.
Mikey and Shelley blushed a bit, but continued on in their conversation.
Cori then passed Raph on the way to her room. "Wassup?" she said.
Raph smiled. "Nothin much. You?" he asked, stopping.
Cori stopped too. "Nothin. Just battle training." she said.
"Yeah, me, Mikey, and Leo are just finishing up those weapons." said Raph.
"Ya'll aren't making' any sissy weapons are ya?" asked Cori.
"Nah. Our motto is, 'the sharper, the better'." said Raph.
"Good goin." said Cori with a smile.
They were quiet for a moment.
"Ya know Cori, you ain't never mentioned nothin' about what happened that day." said Raph.
Cori was confused. "What happened on what day?" she asked.
"You rememba. The day we called a truce." said Raph.
Cori thought for a moment, and then figured out what he meant; the kiss. It had been at least a month since that time, and she had almost forgotten about it. "Oh, yeah, that." she said, sounding a bit uneasy.
"So? What did you think?" asked Raph.
"That was weeks ago Raph, it's kinda hard to remember." said Cori.
         "Need a reminder?" asked Raph.
Cori was thinking for a moment, but she didn't have much time to think when Raph leaned in and kiseed her. This one lasted longer than the one a few weeks ago.
After the kiss, he pulled back, and looked at her for a moment. "So, how what do ya think?" asked Raph.
Cori breathed deeply for a moment. "I think . . . I think . . ." Then she looked at him. "I think that if we didn't have to actually sleep, you'd be in my room tonight." she said.
Raph smirked. "Very nice." he said.
Cori gave a small smile, then began walking off again. "Good night handsome." she said.
Raph just watched her walk off for a little while, and then continued on to his room with a small smile on his face.

Soon, everyone in HQ was peacefully asleep in their beds.
