| Well I just go the new Mandy cd and I'm anticipating *coughrightcough* to listen to the lovely thing. Mandy's turning into a regular teenage popstar, you know 'em, sleazy clothes, loads of makeup, etc. She's still not baring it all like some do. The flipping the hair pictures are not her. It reminds me of strippers or Britney at the VMA's. But she's still pretty. On to the songs and these are honest thoughts. 1. "In My Pocket" ~ Nice dance beat. Is she talking about paying a giggalo? Love would be $90 an hour and $75 for VIPs. The little part where she doesn't really sing remindded me of a dance sequence in a Janet Jackson video or something. Sorry girl, pennies won't get much love. Not a bad song but singing about prostitutes isn't the way to go. **** 2. "You Remind Me" ~ The beat is all wrong for the way they sing the lyrics. I don't really know what to say. "It's the way you walk" What if he became paralyzed? Would it still be the way? I might fall asleep. Yawn. ** 3. "Saturate Me" ~ What would you think with a title like this? Oh the possibilities. Maybe it's a response to "Liquid Dreams". Is this going to be on the soundtrack to Lion King 3. Talk about retarded. She thinks she's a plant or something. Ok Mandy, stick to singing, rapping isn't your thing. Catchy tune thought ** 4. "One Sided Love" ~ What country am I in? Oh my, Run!!!! I can see monkies in her hair, lol. This song is actually pretty good besides the begining. She doesn't sound like Sweet Mandy, meet her evil twin Candy! The song isn't evil but her voice sounds pissed. **** 5. "17" ~ I can relate to this song. I'm sure every teenage girl can and I like it alot. Oh my, I'm having a moment where I don't want to diss a song. ***** 6. "Cry" ~ Awww! Really sweet and now I'm getting all sappy. Go Mandy, hit them hight notes. ***** Truly one of my faves. 7. "Crush" ~ Is this song about Justin Timberlake? Why does everyone like him? Not you too Mandy, no! Hell, I bet people would rather see you with him than Bitchney. Go get 'em girl! Oh wait =( What if she's talking about Ron Izzary. No he's a loser!!!! *** 8. "It Only Took A Minute" ~ Blah Blah Blah. Bored. ** 9. "Turn the Clock Around" ~ Do do do do. This is so retarded. It's not that hard to turn the clock around. Just disattach from wall and turn it. * 10. "Yo-Yo" ~ You're right your not a yo-yo. Your a freakin human. I thought I was listening to matchbox 20 when it first started. Can you just see Many on the face of a a yo-yo? ** Ok so I got bored from this cd and didn't do the other 3 songs but you know what I personally didn't really like this one. I loved her other 2 cd's but now it's just garbage in my eyes. I haven't listened to this thing since than and it's in a box and hopefully it will never emerge alive. I want my $13 bucks back! If you have a good review send it than but I didn't like it. |
