They deal with crisises all around the world, and are sent in when it's the last resort. Besides that, it's a great multiplayer game. There are over 1,000 people playing per day on Ubisoft's official servers. This testifies how excellent the multiplayer is. You can play in many different game modes, and each time, things never get boring. There is a memorable moment everytime you play. Also, there are plenty of guns and tactics to choose from. The object of the game is to arrest/eliminate the terrorists, or "tangos" as they are called, rescue all the hostages and escort them to the safety zone, marked by green smoke somewhere on the map, and defuse any bombs awaiting explosion. Or in adversial, you try to detonate/disarm bombs, rescue/kill the hostages, or just kill members of the oposing team. ----Section 2: General Tactics---- These tips are for multiplayer games in general. MOVE WITH YOUR TEAMMATES - Always move with your teammates. Moving with your teammates let's you concentrate fire, help support each other when throwing grenades, and you don't die as quickly. Strengh comes in numbers. If you move alone, you tend to be outgunned by the tangos, ensuring an early death in the game. If everyone splits up, try moving with another teammate and offer him some support when necessary. NEVER ALWAYS RUN - Don't always run. Running often alerts the tangos, and then they might attack you when you are vulnerable, (ie. typing chat messages, etc.) BE OBSERVANT - If you see tangos heading your way, alert your teammates and start shooting. If you are not observant, it's probably likely that you will die. Also, when you enter a room, scan every inch of it for tangos. BE BOLD - Take risks when playing. Don't be scared that when you open a door, you'll be shot in the face and die. It's just a game. There are many other games you can play in the future. Just move in and engage quickly and you'll be fine. DON'T FIRE YOUR WEAPON IN FULL AUTOMATIC - Fire your weapon in short automatic bursts or just single shot. This retains the accuracy of a gun. UTILIZE COVER - Use cover whenever possible. If not, crouch or lie prone to avoid bullets. NEVER WASTE AMMO OR GRENADES - Never waste ammo or grenades. This isn't single player. LISTEN FOR NOISE - Stop every now and then to listen for noises. If you hear a door close, or footsteps approaching, get yourself into a good defensive position and wait. LEAN AT CORNERS - Always lean around hallways and doors to check for tangos. DON'T BLOCK YOUR TEAMMATE'S LINE OF FIRE - Don't block your teammate's line of fire. This is important, esp. when you and your teammates crowd around a door. This may result in less kills for you, but this may piss off your teammates and cause friendly deaths. MOVE QUICKLY - Move quickly and storm. If you pause a lot and hesitate, there are chances that the enemy will possibly recover from the shock of a grenade or firefight and attack you while you were hestitating. DON'T "ZULU" UNLESS NECESSARY - Don't suicide unless if you know you can't finish a level by yourself. This pisses people off a lot when a newbie suicides or goes "zulu", which is a term for suicide used in chat in the game. COVER YOUR TEAM - Be sure that you cover your team from behind. I've seen many teams get ambushed when they were outflanked or attacked in the rear. ADAPT - Change tactics often. Tactics are different on every single map made, so be sure to adapt. After you download a multiplayer map, play it once in single player to get the feel of it and get used to the layout before playing the map online. Also, just because a strategy worked once, this doesn't mean that it'll work again. ----Section 3: Adversial Tips---- This tips are mostly for adversial games. CLOSE ALL DOORS BEHIND YOU - When you move around a level, be sure to close all the doors behind when you move about, or else the enemy might follow the opened door trail and pounce on you. DON'T TRY TO SNIPE FROM OBVIOUS SPOTS - Most newbies will try to use sniping to get some kills, but this is not a great strategy, as more experienced players will of course, know most of the sniping spots from the above. Try to snipe from the ground level, and lean and utilize cover if necessary. SET UP AMBUSH POINTS - If you can, leave all the doors the open behind so that the enemy will follow these doors and attempt to kill you. You can try planting some remote charges and use a heartbeat sensor detect enemies. Be warned though, most people don't like this tactic. Most people think it's a cheap way of racking up kills. Or, if you lack remote charges, you spring from the door and start shooting. This tactic is known as "camping" and it should be avoided except on agreement with the rest of the players. Even so, it's doesn't take much for a newbie to simply shoot through the door or toss a grenade and attempt to take you down. DON'T BE A SITTING DUCK - If you want to triumph in this game, keep on moving. Don't stop, because if you do, you are simply a sitting duck waiting to be killed. If you are a timid type player that likes to stay in defensive spots (ie camping), you won't likely rack up any kills or become skillful. ----Section 4: The Guns---- ----------------- --Assualt Rifles-- ----------------- Assualt Rifles: When picking out an assault rifle, I always go for an M14 if possible. Why? They are extremely accurate. Accuracy is the key. If you get something (say an AK-47), no matter how fast it fires its bullets, there's no point in the gun because it doesn't leave its mark. This though, doesn't mean that all other guns aren't useful. Some have built in scopes, and others have a good range and/or rate of fire. Range translates into hitting targets farther, and rate of fire means that your bullet reaches its target faster. When using highly inaccurate assualt rifles, try using them in single shot or burst only to retain accuracy. M4 Clip capacity - 30x6 Scope included? - No Caliber - 5.56mm Country of Origin - United States Notes: This gun has some excellent accuracy, even in the open. But the farther a target is, you'll be needing to fire more than just one bullet. It's used by American Special Forces and the American Army hopes to replace the M16 with the M4 in the near future. G3A3 Clip capacity - 20x6 Scope included? - No Caliber - 7.62mm Country of Origin - Germany Notes: This gun is excellent in many situations, whether it be outdoors or indoors. It has extremely good accuracy, and I would say it's only behind the M14 and FNC in terms of accuracy. But's rather small clip is its downfall. It's used by the Iranian Special Forces. G36K Clip capacity - 30x6 Scope included? - Yes Caliber - 5.56mm Country of Origin - Germany Notes: This is basicly a G3A3 with a scope and toned down accuracy. It's less accurate than most guns, but it's scope makes it and it's quite useful for some lethal close range sniping. It has replaced the G3A3 in recent years in the German Army. L85A1 Clip capacity - 30x6 Scope included? - Yes Caliber - 5.56mm Country of Origin - United Kingdom Notes: It's similar to the G36K, but with slightly better accuracy. Standard-issue weapon of the British Army. AUG Clip capacity - 30x6 Scope included? - Yes Caliber - 5.56 Country of Origin - Austria Notes: It's a versatile gun with moderate accuracy that is only behind other such guns like the L85A1 and the G36K, and as a plus, a scope. If you use this carefully, it can be used as a sniper rifle also. Ah, dual weapons in one! M16A2 Clip capacity - 30x6 Scope included? - No Caliber - 5.56mm Country of Origin - United States Notes: This gun deals quite a bit of damage and has great range. One shot in the chest or head guarentees a kill. The only drawback of the M16 is the fact that it's only semi-auto, making slightly unviable in large shootouts. This is the standard issue weapon of the US Army since the 1980's. M14 Clip capacity - 20x6 Scope included? - No Caliber - 7.62mm Country of Origin - United States Notes: This is arguably some of the best guns of the game. It's has the best accuracy, damage, and firepower of any assault rifle. One shot anywhere guarentees a kill and the gun itself is very reliable in full-auto. If you never get bored of this gun, use it. It was developed right after WWII by the US Army to replace the M1 carabine. FAMAS G2 Clip capacity - 30x6 Scope included? - No Caliber - 5.56mm Country of Origin - France Notes: The FAMAS can spew out almost 30 bullets a second. It's best not to use its full auto capabilities in open areas, but in tight hallways where massive firefights are raging, this gun can be it. For its accuracy, it's good for close-medium range. It's the standard-issue weapon of the French Army. FAL Clip capacity - 20x6 Scope included? - No Caliber - 7.62mm Country of Origin - Belgium Notes: This gun, due to high recoil, is not that useful in full auto due to heavy recoil. It's more reliable in single shot mode. But with a silencer, it's full-auto capabilities really shine. FNC Clip capacity - 30x6 Scope included? - No Caliber - 5.56mm Country of Origin - Belgium Notes: The FNC has extremely good accuracy, but its damage is rather limited. Fire for the chest for the best results. The FNC is used by the Brazilian and Belgian armies, as well as many others around the globe. Brazil produces the weapon under license. Galil ARM Clip capacity - 30x6 Scope included? - No Caliber - 5.56mm Country of Origin - Israel Notes: This gun is basicly an AK-47 with a different caliber with much better accuracy. M82 Clip capacity - 30x6 Scope included? - No Caliber - 5.56mm Country of Origin - United States Notes: I have never used this gun much, there isn't much I can tell you about it. But it has a high rate of fire though. AK-47 Clip capacity - 30x6 Scope included? - No Caliber - 7.62mm Country of Origin - Former USSR Notes: This gun is extremely inaccurate in any mode other than single shot. The first shot is reasonable accurate, but the shots that follow aren't. But, it deals quite a bit of damage, so, use in single shot, and aim for the chest or head. It's rather popular in the Third World, where it's cheap to manufacture and maintain, while retaining its reliability. AK-74 Clip capacity - 30x6 Scope included? - No Caliber - 5.45mm Country of Origin - Former USSR Notes: This is an AK-47 with higher accuracy, but this deals less damage due to the smaller round the gun uses. Used in the Soviet Army in the 1970's-1990's. TAR-21 Clip capacity - 30x6 Scope included? - No Caliber - 5.56mm Country of Origin - Israel Notes: I haven't used this gun enough to draw any conclusions from it. From what I see online, it's rarely used. Today, it's the standard-issue weapon in the Israeli Army. Type 97 Clip capacity - 30x6 Scope included? - No Caliber - 5.56mm Country of Origin - China Notes: I've only used this gun once, and I haven't drawn much conclusions about it. But, it's reasonably accurate. This weapon is usually assigned to police and vehicle crews. OTs-14 Groza (Athena Sword) Clip capacity - 30x6 Scope included? - No Caliber - 9mm Country of Origin - Former USSR Notes: This an average gun, with reasonable accuracy and damage. The Groza is usually issued to Russian security forces. G3KA4 (Athena Sword) Clip capacity - 20x6 Scope included? - No Caliber 7.62 Country of Origin - Germany Notes: This gun has decreased stability which doesn't allow accurate full-auto unless if you put a silencer on it. It's based off of the G3A3. ----------- --Pistols-- ----------- Pistols: As for pistols, it's doesn't really matter what you choose. Pistols in the game are only meant to conserve ammo by making headshots. In close-quarters, they are really useful because they are much more accurate in close quarters, but out in the open, there's little chance of a pistol making its mark. This section is divided in 2 sections, one for pistols, and another for machine pistols. 92FS Clip capacity - 15x4 Caliber - 9mm Country of Origin - Italy Notes: This pistol is reasonably accurate at a close-medium distance, but it requires at least 2-3 shots to kill an enemy. USP Clip capacity - 13x4 Caliber .40cal Country of Origin - Germany Notes: This tactical pistol packs good firepower and is relatively accurate. Mk23 Clip capacity - 12x2 Caliber - .40cal Country of Origin - Germany Notes: This gun has a small clip and lacks some firepower, but has good accuracy. It's used by American Special Forces. Desert Eagle (.50cal) Clip capacity - 4x7 Caliber - .50cal Country of Origin - Israel Notes: This is an awesome handgun with some serious firepower. Aimed at the chest or head, you can always guarentee a kill. But it has a rather limited magazine and when silenced, firepower is reduced significantly. Desert Eagle (.357cal) Clip capacity - 9x4 Caliber - .357cal Country of Origin - Israel Notes: This is handgun deals less damage than its brother, but packs a slightly bigger magazine. AP Army Clip capacity - 2x20 Caliber - 5.7mm Country of Origin - ? Notes: This handgun packs a good big magazine and accuracy. Its bullets don't do much damage though, but its big magazine makes up for it. P-228 Clip capacity - 13x4 Caliber - 9mm Country of Origin - Germany Notes: This gun is only good at close ranges and indoors only. Used by police forces around the world. SPP Clip capacity - 30x2 Caliber - 9mm Country of Origin - ? Notes: This gun lacks some definate firepower. It takes about 2-3 rounds simply to take down someone. But with extreme presicion and a high clip capacity, this is a gun to get if you don't mind firepower. 93R (Athena Sword) Clip capacity - 20x3 Caliber - 9mm Country - Italy Notes: This Italian pistol has a rare three-round burst mode and packs a good 20 round magazine. -------------------- --Machine Pistols-- -------------------- Machine pistols are rapid fire pistols that are good in close quarters only. CZ-61 Clip capacity - 20x2 Caliber - 7.65mm Country of Origin - Czech Republic Notes: This machine pistol is quite versatile and is good in close quarters. Mac 11/9 Clip capacity - 16x4 Caliber - 9mm Country of Origin - United States Notes: This machine pistol has a high rate of fire and is very useful in close combat. Micro-UZI Clip capacity - 20x3 Caliber - 9mm Country of Origin - Israel Notes: I love this gun because it has both single shot and full-auto modes, and it's pretty accurate in close quarters. SR-2 Clip capacity - 20x3 Caliber - 9mm Country of Origin - United States Notes: This gun is reasonably accurate and it packs some solid firepower. ------------- --Shotguns-- ------------- Shotguns: These guns are pretty much used in multiplayer. Most of the shotguns in the game have a good round capacity, and are great for "one hit, one kill" type fashions. But they are notoriously loud and the scope is the only weapon attachment available. Shotguns are great at close range, and lack accuracy as the distance increases. M1 Clip capacity - 34+6 shells Caliber - 12g Country of Origin - Italy Notes: It's an average shotgun. It has the smallest shell capability, but is still good at clearing rooms. Rarely used in multiplayer. SPAS-12 Clip capacity - 32+8 Caliber - 12g Country of Origin - Italy Notes: This is an excellent shotgun with a high shell capacity. Useful at room-clearing. In reality, the gun design is rather fragile and Franchi, its manufacturer, no longer manufactures it, replacing the SPAS-12 with the new SPAS-15. The SPAS-12 today is a rare collector's item in the United States. USAS-12 Clip capcity - 20x2 Caliber - 12g Country of Origin - South Korea Notes: This is an automatic shotgun with reasonable accuracy due to it's rather heavy nature. Developed in the 1980's in South Korea. It's quite popular online. M1014 (Athena Sword) Clip capacity - 34+8 Caliber - 12g Country of Origin - Italy Notes: Similar to the M1 shotgun except for the sound effect. ----------------- --Sniper Rifles-- ----------------- Sniper Rifles: These are excellent used in tandem with smoke grenades and heat vision, as smoke grenades cover you as you cover your team by sniping the enemy. They pack accuracy and some of these rifles can even penetrate walls and blow apart doors with one or two shots, but aren't very practical other than a weapon that is used to kill people from a long distance with them realizing. M82A1 Clip capacity - 10x3 Caliber - .50cal Country of Origin - United States Notes: This is the sniper rifle. With its .50cal round, this thing can blow apart doors and take down people at an extremely long distance. Even cooler, you can shoot through doors and and the round should kill whoever is inside, even at far range. But due to its recoil, you need to wait for a few seconds after every shot for your view to stabilize. PSG-1 Clip capacity - 10x3 Caliber - 7.62mm Country of Origin - Germany Notes: This sniper rifle has a fairly good range and reasonable semi-auto capabilities. This gun is popular with police forces around the world. WA-2000 Clip capacity - 6x5 Caliber - .30cal Country of Origin - Germany Notes: This rifle's .30 cal magnum round packs more of a punch than your average 7.62mm rounds. This rifle was made with custom parts and is extremely rare. It costs at around 10,000 USD. SSG-3000 Clip capacity - 5x6 Caliber - 7.62mm Country of Origin - Switzerland Notes: This bolt-action sniper rifle is extremely accurate. But it's not capable of semi-auto fire though. It's an extremely popular among police in Europe and North America. AW Covert Clip capacity - 10x3 Caliber - 7.62mm Country of Origin - United States Notes: This is a silenced sniper rifle. It's a little weaker than unsilenced rifles though, but its silence offsets that. SVD Dragonov Clip capacity - 10x3 Caliber - 7.62mm Country of Origin - Former USSR Notes: This Russian sniper rifle doesn't have the range of other sniper rifles, but is reasonably accurate and deals quite a bit of damage. VSS Vintorez Clip capacity - 10x3 Caliber - 9mm Country of Origin - Former USSR Notes: This 9mm sniper rifle has an intergrated silencer. SL8-2 (Athena Sword) Clip capacity - 10x3 Caliber - 5.56mm Country of Origin - Germany Notes: This sniper rifle is based off of the G36K and it has a good range and is potent at sniping from a distance. ---------------------- --Submachine-Guns-- ---------------------- Submachine-Guns: They are similar to their brothers, the assualt rifles, and are not very different at all. They have a more magazines included with the gun, and have less range and firepower. They are quite useful in close quarters, but otherwise are less useful than assualt weapons in open areas due to less range and damage. MP5A4 Clip capacity - 30x7 Caliber - 9mm Country of Origin - Germany Notes: This H&K SMG is reasonably accurate at close-medium range, and can retain its full-auto abilities at close ranges thanks to its good recoil. In reality, it's very popular with SWAT teams and count-terror police around the world. MP5SD5 Clip capacity - 30x7 Caliber - 9mm Country of Origin - Germany Notes: This is a silenced version of the MP5. MP5K PDW Clip capacity - 30x7 Caliber - 9mm Country of Origin - Germany Notes: This is a smaller version of the MP5, with a folding stock. MP5/10A2 Clip capacity - 30x6 Caliber - 10mm Country of Origin - Germany Notes: This is an MP5 chambered with a 10mm round. Its heavy recoil means that it has good full-auto abilities like its cousin. UMP Clip capacity - 25x6 Caliber - .45cal Country of Origin - Germany Notes: I don't like this gun due to its rather small clip. But it has good recoil though, but a low rate of fire, thus allowing good full-auto, but then the clip runs dry. M12S Clip capacity - 40x5 Caliber - 9mm Country of Origin - Italy Notes: This Italian SMG is relatively accurate at close quarters and its big clip is a plus. P90 Clip capacity - 50x4 Caliber - 5.7mm Country of Origin - Belgium Notes: This Belgian-made SMG is great since it has a massive clip and a high rate of fire. The bullets are small, so they don't deal much damage though, but its high rate of fire and big magazine offsets that. This gun is mostly assigned to artillery crews and truck drivers in the Belgian Army as a PDW for its small size and reliability. TMP Clip capacity - 30x7 Caliber - 9mm Country of Origin - Austria Notes: This SMG is good at close ranges and retains its accuracy as it fires. It's also to be reported as a comfortable weapon to fire. Uzi Clip capacity - 30x7 Caliber - 9mm Country of Origin - Israel Notes: Made in the 1950's by Israeli Military Industries, this SMG is accurate at close ranges. Used by the Israeli Defense Forces for many years, the simplicity and reliability of this weapon has also made it popular with some terrorists. CZ-61 Clip capacity - 20x9 Caliber - 7.65mm Country of Origin - Czech Republic Notes: This is a machine pistol with a high rate of fire. But it doesn't deal very much damage though. The CZ-61 is a rather simple weapon, and is used by the Czech, Egyptian, and Libyan armies. MTAR-21 Clip capacity - 30x7 Caliber - 9mm Country of Origin - Israel Notes: Used by the IDF, this gun packs fairly good firepower and is useful at close ranges. The MTAR has replaced the Uzi in the Israeli Army in recent years. Mac 11/9 Clip capacity - 32x7 Caliber - 9mm Country of Origin - United States Notes: This gun has a high rate of fire and is great at close quarters. Micro-UZI Clip capacity - 32x7 Caliber - 9mm Country of Origin - Israel Notes: A close-quarters weapon mainly. Used by police around the world. SR-2 Clip capacity - 20x9 Caliber - 9mm Country of Origin - ? Notes: This SMG packs a punch and is used the Special Forces. SM4 CQB (Athena Sword) Clip capacity - 50x4 Caliber - 9mm Country of Origin - ? Notes: The SM4 is an excellent SMG with a good rate of fire, and it is reasonably accurate at close-medium ranges. It's big clip is a plus in combat. ------------------------- --Light Machine-Guns-- ------------------------- Light Machine-Guns: They pack even more firepower than assualt rifles do, but are hampered by the lack of weapon attachments and long reloading time. They are useful for laying open fire right out in the open, and supporting your teammates by forcing tangos to go for cover. When using one, lie prone to get most accuracy. But this impedes your movement, so beware. M60E4 Clip capacity - 100x3 Caliber - 7.62mm Country of Origin - United States Notes: This machine-gun has a good rate of fire and reasonable accuracy in burst fire. Used the US Army as a SAW or Squad Assualt Weapon. M249 Clip capacity - 200x2 Caliber - 5.56mm Country of Origin - France Notes: This gun has reasonable accuracy when firing if you crouch and stay still. With its massive 200 round magazine, this is an effective cover-fire weapon. It's very common in the US Army. RPD Clip capacity - 100x4 Caliber - 7.62mm Country of Origin - Former USSR Notes: I haven't used this gun often enough to write details about it, but it was developed right after WWII. It's pretty rare to encounter online though. 21E Clip capacity - 100x3 Caliber - 7.62mm Country of Origin - Germany Notes: This gun has more accuracy than the M249, but can become rather inaccurate in full-auto. Burst fire only with this weapon. This machine gun was based on the H&K G3A3. 23E Clip capacity - 200x2 Caliber - 5.56 Country of Origin - Germany Notes: This gun is rather similar to the 21E. M240G (Athena Sword) Clip capacity - 100x3 Caliber - 7.62mm Country of Origin - United States Notes: This machine gun is the most accurate of any machine gun in Raven Shield. It deals quite a bit of damage as well. ----Section 5: Grenades---- Grenades are useful in many forms. For one, they often drive people out of defensive places and place them right out in the open, as more vulnerable targets. Also, if you are unsure about things, you can always throw them to see if there are enemies around the corner to see if there is a reaction. The grenade heirachy is this: Frag>Smoke>Flashbang>Gas Frag Grenades: They pack good firepower, are great at blowing apart doors, and killing people with a good radius. Beware though, if you throw a grenade close to you, you'll probably be hit by sharpnel and be killed. Also, these are best used in tight spots, such as stairwells and corridoors. Otherwise, people will just run from the grenade, offsetting its usefulness. Smoke Grenades: A sniper's best friend, these babies can shroud everyone's vision and gives a sniper with heat vision an edge. Also, they are great at moving through open spaces that lack cover and attacking from the smoke. Gas Grenades: To be truely useful, these must be equipped with a gas mask, hindering the amount of items a person can carry. But they have a longer effect than flashbangs, and you can easily move into a room, and eliminate all tangos without competition. But they lack a good radius though, and you better move quickly to engage or else the enemy will recover from the grenade. Flashbangs: These are pretty useful when dealing in a packed room filled with terrorists who are going to shoot you the moment you come in. They are also pretty good in large quarters, because everyone will be looking at the flash. But their effect is limited. When using, engage quickly. ----Section 6: Weapons Attachments---- Scope: A scope can be added to a gun to increase your optical zoom. I find these useful when sniping with any gun. Silencer: They silence your weapons, but reduce the true firepower of your weapons. They pack less power than non-silenced weapons, and won't penetrate doors and walls like non-silenced weapons do. But, they do increase accuracy by a slight margin though. But they decrease the amount of damage done by a significant margin. They also increase the stability of a weapon, allowing a more accurate full-auto mode. High Capacity Magazine: They increase the number of bullets you hold in each magazine. Quite useful if you run out of bullets during a firefight, so you have to reload less often. Thermal Scope: This is an attachment used for sniper rifles to see people through walls and doors. Heat sources appear as white. This indicates that tangos are behind a door. ----Section 7: Misc Items---- Defuse Kit: Enables you to defuse bombs faster. Pretty useless. Electronic Kit: This allows you to manipulate electronic systems more quickly. Pretty useless. This is only used in one SP level. Lockpick Kit: Allows you to open locked doors faster. Pretty useless. Gas Mask: Negates the effects of gas grenades. This is useful when you are using a gas grenade and rushing and engaging, but limits the amount of stuff you can carry. Primary Magazines: Supplies more magazines for your primary weapon. Secondary Magazines: Supplies more magazines for your secondary weapon. Hearbeat Sensor: Extremely useful for locating tangos. If there is a person, they will appear as a blip on the screen. This doesn't distinguish between friends and enemies, so be careful. Breaching Charge: This is useful for blowing open doors and stunning the enemy inside. Remote Charge: This is a piece of explosive put on the ground and blown up remotely. This is useful for setting up coordinated ambushes. Claymore Mine: Same as remote charge, but explodes in front of you. Make sure you are behind it when it goes off. ----Section 8: Map Strategies---- This section is devoted for strategies for specific maps. I will highlight some areas that are of great importance. Like sniper points, possible ambush points, etc. ------------------ --Lumber Yard-- ------------------ DESCRIPTION - This map is a lumber yard with a warehouse with 2 floors, a trainyard with several box cars, a lookout tower in the trainyard, and another warehouse containing the workers' quarters, as well as an open area wood cutting facility. THINGS WORTH MENTIONING ABOUT THIS MAP: - There is a lookout tower in the trainyyard that is a great sniping spot. - Most windows around the warehouses aree greeat sniping spots and offer a good view over the trainyard, which offers more chances at you not being caught sniping, because the enemy will have to scan many possible sniping points, and also as the enemy will often not know where the sniper is. If someone spots you, move away from the window. - Boxcars offer excellent cover from sniiperss if there are any. - There is not much cover inside the warrehouuse. So, when you move around inside the first warehouse move quickly or get to the second floor. -------------- --Penthouse-- -------------- DESCRIPTION - This is a penthouse apartment on top of a high building. There is a Japanese garden if you move a little to the west from your starting point if you jump from the stairs. From the Japanese garden, or the fire escape, you access the penthouse. There are many bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as an executive office on the second floor. On the first floor, there is a kitchen and and a living room with a television. THINGS WORTH MENTIONING ON THIS MAP: - From the balcony overlooking the livinng rooom, it's a great place to toss grenades and create ambushes with very little harm to you. - If you love to camp, the executive offfice offers clear doors so that you can see if anyone is approaching. It has one entrance only, and it's large enough for you to avoid frag grenades. If you are a sniper, use thermal vision to counter the smoke. ------------------- --Import-Export-- ------------------- DESCRIPTION - This is a map of a large building/warehouse, including the roads that surround it. THINGS WORTH MENTIONING ABOUT THIS MAP: - This has quite a few sniper points. Iff youu manage to access the tall boxes inside the warehouse by the ladders, they offer some good sniper points for the unexpected. A small room near the end of the map is a good sniper point as well, with windows overlooking a half-fenced yard as well as another window overlooking the exit to the loading dock of the warehouse. - There are quite a few explosive barrells arround. You can shoot them if you like, and their effect is like that of frag grenades. - If you play co-op with this map, theree is a sniper near your starting point. - The cardboard boxes located in some offficees around the import-export firm offer good cover. - If you are playing adversial, the red teamm starts out in the yard behind the loading dock of the warehouse. THINGS WORTH MENTIONING ABOUT THIS MAP: - The balcony at the back of the villa ooverllooking the patio and pool is a good sniper point, if you should be able to find cover behind the pillars. - The stairs near the front door and thee staairs that lead downstairs into the garage are good ambush points, should the enemy come that way. - If you play co-op, if you should attacck thhrough the front door, throw frag grenades into the windows to stun the tangos. - If you are playing adversial, the greeen teeam starts out in the "living room" on the first floor. The red team starts out in the room on the first floor where there is another TV and near such adjacent rooms like a bedroom and a bathroom, as well as access to the second floor via a small stairwell. The small outdoors patio that seperates both teams is a big choke point where firefights will rage. ---------------- --Alley-Strike-- ---------------- DESCRIPTION - This seems to be a big apartment/hotel style building with plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms, offices, storage rooms, stairwells, kitchens, an area within the building under construction, and a rooftop. You can snipe them from the cover of the vehicles in the cargo hold or toss a grenade through the window to stun or kill them. But if you are not careful, they can see you can kill you. - There are three ways in which you can acceess the floor above you. If you are playing adversial, the placement is totally random. - The big advertisement board on top of the apartment building is fairly good cover. - When playing adversial, the green teamm staarts out in the second floor of the apartment building and the red team starts out in the hotel. The street between the apartment building and the hotel will be contested for. ---------------------------------- --H2 Oppression - Day&Night-- ---------------------------------- DESCRIPTION - This is a water treatment plant in Hawaii. From there, you snipe at the tangos occupying the cafeteria to the northeast. The cafeteria's roof is glass, so from here, you can toss frags and snipe. - Inside the treatment plant itself, theere iis a ladder that can access the floor above you. - There is a door that creates an alarm if yyou open it, which is located near the parking lot. - In any terrorist hunt game, the officee witth the radios and music in it have no tangos in there. ----Section 9: Credits/Legal---- Me: Creating this guide.
