After the houseguests are announced, You'll have a few days to get to know each other via AIM. Then, there will be the first competition held, the Head of Household (HoH) competition. Competitions may come in many forms, shapes and sizes, so don't feel over confident coming into one. Whatever it may be, you should try to get it cause it's one step closer for you to the prize.

After the HoH competition, the HoH is given time to decide who he/she wants to nominate for eviction from the house. That, and a little speech for the nomination ceremony of course.

Following the HoH competition, there's another competition. The Power of Veto (POV) competition. Well, a winner is determined the same way the HoH is determined. With the POV, the holder, like the HoH, is safe for another week! The Power of Veto winner is given some time to decide if he/she wants to use it to remove another houseguests from the nomination block. The two houseguests can make deals with the POV holder or whatever, but the decision to use it is totally up to the holder. If the POV is used, the HoH must nominate another houseguest for eviction. (The HoH can't nominate the POV holder if the POV is used!)

Soon after, the houseguests are then allowed to vote who they want to vote for to be evicted from the game. (HoH, and the two nominees are not allowed to vote!) The houseguest with the most votes is out of the game and the cycle rolls around again: HoH -> POV -> Voting -> Eviction. In case of a tie, (e.g. a 3-3 vote), then the HoH must cast the deciding vote for who should be evicted.

At the end of the game, 7 houseguests of the original 13 cast their votes as to who should walk away with the prize. They decide from the remaining 2 houseguests in the house, so try not to make too many enemies in this game, as it is the evicted who seals the deal! (Take the case of Alison Irwin, BB4 for instance)

Remember. The motto of the game is "Expect the Unexpected." Never get too comfortable in the game. At any moment, a twist maybe introduced into the game the screw things up a little. So always look over your shoulder. Also, don't take things to personal -- remember. It's only a game!
