Franz
Peter Schubert
arranged for Brass Band by Jay Neal In its original form it was the favourite among pianists of all the Schubert Impromptus. Its lyrical beauty of melodic line, sombre darkness of mood change and excitement of full climatic chords - makes it an ideal piece for a Brass Band setting. It was updated in an orchestral version by James Last in the 1980’s and it was on hearing this version that Jay was inspired to arrange it for Brass Band. It is sure to be satisfying for all sections of the Band and appreciated by audiences. Pricing
