Belenus
Bright One
In some circles of the Hibernian pantheon faith, Belenus is thought to be the father of all the deities.  He is the earliest solar deity, also known as Beli.  His domain includes all forms of light, and the day.  His followers fear the night and travel or work only during the daylight.  They are superstitious but reverant and pure of heart and soul.
Ceridwen
The White
Ceridwen is a cauldron-goddess, associated with the brewing of potions and alchemy.  Legends tells of her brewing a potion of Knowledge for her child Afagddu in hopes of showing him the error of his ways.  When the potion is stolen from her by a mischevious boy named Gwion, she transforms him into a mouse, but takes pity on him and keeps him as her own.  Her sacred animal is the mouse, and is also considered one of the most intelligent animals by her followers.
Crearwy
Beautiful Light
Crearwy is the favored child of Ceridwen, and brother to Afagddu.  His domain is the light of the stars and reflections.  He bridges the gap between night and day, darkness and light, but giving illumination during the night (stars, reflected light on the moon) and reflected images in the day (on water surfaces, light creating shadows, etc).  His followers are enigmatic and ethereal, and considered strange or alien by others.
Eochaid
The Horse-Rider
A very early aspect of the Daghda, Eochaid is a solar deity associated with lightning.  He is usually spoken of as one-eyed, and often refered to by an epithet of Deirgderc as redeye, the sun.  Eochaid is often portrayed riding an auburn steed wielding a spear of lightning an traveling at incredible speeds.  Strangely enough, archers have become strong followers of Eochaid, interpreting his lightning as accuracy and his speed as the flight of an arrow.
Grian
Cnoc Greine
Grian is the sister to Aine, and the unrequited lover of Fer I.  She has solar associations because of her passionate fire of love.  It was said that Grian's love for Fer was so intense that it gave birth to the will-o-the-wisps, floating lights in the darkness that would lead hapless travelers to their deaths.
