In the histories of Hibernia, Albion, and Midgard, religion has grown convoluted and vague through the many campaigns of war, ravages of conquerors, and the passage of time.  It is the mission of the Hibernia - Nimue guild Pantheon to bring back to the people the word and power of the forgotten yet True Gods.  Some of our number choose to do this in a persuasive way, showing the people rather than telling, urging rather than forcing.  There are some who use the way of strength to convince others to convert and forsake the vague faiths of today. However we, the avatars and emissaries of the gods themselves, choose to bring the message to the people, nothing denies the fact that we are the chosen children of the divinities.  Those that join and swell our number only strengthen the deities, and it is only a matter of time then that the false prophets of Albion and Midgard are crushed under our collective might.

Server: Nimue (Hibernia)

Pantheon is a roleplay-only guild dedicated to bringing true roleplaying to a server that lacks strong roleplaying in general.  Using the coming of the Old Gods as a means to convey this conversion, you could easily say that our true goal then is to "convert" the players of Nimue to roleplay more consistently and with a stronger sense of character.

Any players of any classes and any levels are welcome to join our ranks, but we ask that a strong roleplaying front be maintained at all times when others are present.  Private messages may be however you like, but we encourage you to stay in character as consistently as possible. 

If you choose to follow the ways of the True Gods (having looked at the vast Hibernian Pantheon under the Cindex section) you will decide what domain, and/or what gods or goddesses you follow.  Familiarizing yourself with their legends and beliefs will give you plenty of background information on how you want to roleplay your role in the Pantheon. We accept all open submissions of stories and legends to add to these deities' histories, as new information is being discovered all the time about these ancient gods.

The core of the guild is made up of eight Avatars (or officers of the highest rank).  These are the direct servants of the gods, and shepherd the flocks of new followers to the Old Ways up through the ranks.  All new members enter at the ninth, and lowest, rank, but may quickly advance in ranks to the fourth, where they then choose which of three Avatar paths they wish.

Advancement from one rank to the next is done through service to the gods, and quests for your realm.  See Guild Hierarchy and Law for complete information on the ranks and more on the guild itself.

NOTE:  It is our wish here in the Pantheon that all may be afforded a chance to learn the art of roleplaying in a supportive and conducive setting.  Any who wish to join and either learn or watch will be allowed entrance at the Supplicant level.  Should you decide you wish to advance, then you will be embraced by the flock.  As a guild we are not just about helping each other, but helping the server.  Sometimes all it takes is for someone to see other people roleplaying to get inspired themselves.  We hope to provide a little of that inspiration and try and make Nimue roleplaying-friendly for everyone.
