Role of the Avatar in Pantheon
All of the three Avatar ranks (Mystic, Targe, and Virtue) follow their own sets of tasks and traits, but together they embrace the following set of guidelines in order to maintain a positive effect on the guild and the realm.

1.  Lead by example, encourage others to roleplay around you, and never drop out of character for any reason in public conversation.  Your conduct reflects directly on the image of the guild, and should you openly fall back into easy OOC within a group that does absolutely no roleplaying, then it will affect us negatively.  Our goal is to improve the roleplaying enviroment for everyone in Hibernia - Nimue, and we can only begin to do that by leading with shining example.

2.  Actively spread the word of the gods to everyone in your groups or friends, the more than hear of our ways and goals, the better a response and result we can get.  Having more and more people visit us on the Scrolls here will help get our message to others.  It is a wonderful feeling to join a group that already knows of our reputation as faithful servants of the Old Ways.

3.  Use and encourage others to use the guild message boards.  As we grow, it will become imperative that we use that resource to plan events and activities while outside of the realm.  The guild calendar is also a useful tool for us to organize and plan events.  Also, when the Roleplaying Alliance is formed and we are expected to manage and control its organization and activities, the message boards will be the only way for us to communicate with our allies and set up things such as Realmwar raids against the enemy, keep attacks and defenses, and inter-guild roleplaying events.

4.  Come up with any and all ideas you may have to improve the quality of the guild.  Our initial goals will be for maintaining consistent roleplaying throughout its members, increasing the guild's size with other like-minded roleplayers, advancing the guild storylines through public roleplaying events, getting our message out to others, developing guild tradeskills, serving in the Realmwars as much as possible, creating and maintaining events and plotlines, etc. etc.  Any additions you may have to these and other topics will be actively sought out by the Avatar Exemplis in order to continue to improve the guild and the Scrolls.

5.  You chose to be an officer in the guild, and should take your role seriously.  The guild rank system is specifically designed to provide a place for everyone of every play style within our number.  If you would like a less involved or demanding role, seriously consider taking a place in another rank that would let you focus more on just roleplaying and adventuring, the role of the Avatar splits most of its time between those and the guild.
