Day 59 - Return of the Fuzby
(continued from Bone Dragon's)
At first I began my preparations just after 12midnight, by taming three Lava Lizards to help me get things started. It was hard to control these lizards and I didn't know what the green color of my pets were for. I thought it was a glitch because my blue pets were attacking my green pets. I began summoning a GM to assist me in this newbiefied question I had.

Tired of waiting for a GM to
show up, I began my siege upon this lair. The inhabitants were not
very happy, and took advantaged of my bad pet situation. The
skeletal dragon killed me in one round, less than a split second. I
made the mistake of trying to run thru him to a more open area...
BAD IDEA!!
Never ever let this dragon have a chance to melee you, it will result in a quick death for one with leather armor!! Shortly after my death, and upon my return, GM Zilo zaps in upon a clash of thunder and lightning. We stare at my corpse, and the dragon nearby. The wise GM assures me that the green pet color is the guild color and used for factions. I didn't know i was in factions, I guess I'll have to discuss this with my guild leader. |

Looting my corpse did seem a
tiny bit easy, the dragon seemed to get himself stuck while I was away.
I freed the dragon by agroing his pet skeletons nearby. This dragon goes crazy when you start hurting his two buddies in the treasure room. |
From about 1am to 3am, I tested out many tactics, none seemed to lower his health less than 90%. It seemed unfortunate and I was about to quit the fight for another day.
BUT THEN...
I FOUND HIS WEAKNESS!!!

Using a newly created
exploit, I was able to lower the dragons health significantly in a matter
of a few minutes.
[Don't you wish I was a beta tester] ...but beware, this dragon attacks with a fireball/whiteball combo range attack that can do almost 90% damage to your health. Meaning that any other mob can add to that combo instantly killing you in one round. It seems to use the white fireball after it is weakened significantly which does 50% health damage alone and nearly impossible to resist. |

3:15am (about 3 hours), 1 death (I died one time), 4276 gold total, 4 magic items, and assorted gems |

Dragon's Lair
Even though I could not loot the entire dragon treasury. The excitement, fun, risk, adrenalin, fame, and much more were worth the trip. I think this battle was grade A, two thumbs up, the greatest amazing rush I've ever had in along time. |
