14th January 2004 - I uploaded some demos I made at home, if you're interested they are in the files section.
13th January 2004 - It really seems like I can't be bothered with this site it seems and it's probably true. Quite a bit has happened since June. The band now has a drummer Tim, who is kool. It's no longer called decoy octopus as the others decided they didn't like it =(, and at the moment it is untitled. We have finished like 8 songs and want to gig soon. Man I can't wait to gig... also I have exams at the moment =S better go pretend to revise.
6th June 2003 - Hmm seems ages since i updated so i better. A lot has happened since April actually. I've nearly finished AS exams jus pure maths 2 next friday but me doing this exam is a joke i mean i'm about the only one doin it cause i'm the only one who is quitting maths after AS levels so i have to do the exam now rather than next year and i mean i haven't been taught all of the syllabus, my pure teacher is yawn-worthy and past her sell by date so the stuff sheez taught me i haven't learnt, i screwed pure maths 1 earlier this week ... i mean... i think i'll just turn up sign my name on the paper and walk out. in other news i met this drummer dude, dave (alliteration!) and we've been a jammin with me playin guitar and attemptin to sing and we already have like 2 songs and 2 halves of songs and we've been rocking, accoustically until i get my electric which is next week after pure maths 2 so thats one great thing =D. we're called decoy octopus and we're planning to our first gig in the church hall near my house in october half term. shud be awesome, well i think so.
saw fraid the other day at the peel which was a good gig. gonna go to civic red dog night tmrw shud be kool and also might see complex gsl at plantation whenever it is cos they seemed kool and gave me a flyer the other day.
23rd April 2003 - just got back from a fraid gig at guildford community centre. the best fraid gig i've been to yet with the best sound check i have ever heard, a as yet untitled and unfinished track that made everyone well me go 'oh my word that owns'. methinks thats a song to look out for. the venue was a joke, which was funny, it was meant to cost �3 but i just walked in, dunno whether i missed the desk or what, and the toilets were behind the stage so the bands were frequently dodging people making a run for the toilets. i missed the first band, the second band who i didn't catch the name of were pretty kool, and their keyboardist was a legend, columbian legend, the band after fraid, intended to be before fraid, think they were 'bikini atol' but i could be wrong, i did give them a chance even after gettin caught in a too vicious for my liking mosh pit that suddenly came off the streets and onto the stage, dont get me wrong i like a mosh but these were pikey grunger crazy fools, yer, where was i, yea they were very average/worse. all screamy say 3 quiet words. scream. repeat. every song. i left before that was finished. but fraid, amazement.
14th April 2003 - got bored so i made this site. It was my brother jon's birthday today. happy birthday bro. it looks like my easter holiday is gonna be rather uninteresting :( sure hope my life improves sometime.
