Danica "Jaxxa" Craddock, aka
Sun "Snyyper" Botos
Agent and Java-Junkie
of Rubi-Ka
Part One: As Snyyper:   No one is really sure how old Snyyper, or "Snyype" is.  She was a toddler when she was found sleeping under an old sign that had been beaten up and discarded in the junkyard where the 34-1 Helper had found her.
The 34-1 read the sign with the dirt hiding it's true message and saw simply "Botos, sun" and as if opening a container with a labled-lid, thought the child beneath the sign was named Botos, Sun.  When the sign was located later, the dirt wiped off, it was seen as "Go to sunny Rome"....an old advertising sign pushing vacation-sites.  And so, Sun Botos was given a legal name by the custodion she was assigned to.  Not that it was a momentous occasion.  The custodion was neutral to the war, in fact, used most of her money granted to support the many orphaned children assigned to her for "medicene" in the form of vodka.
Now, as to how Sun got the nick-name of "Snyype" or "Snyyper"....a pre-teen street-rat, living by her wits, learned to team with the other rats while cruising the markets for food.  All it took was one rubber band and a small rock with her sniper-aim to send a merchant chasing her while her team-mates grabbed the food from the distracted merchant's cart.
Cultivating a true-aim and a fast running ability were Snyype's specialty; first from stealing food to stealing information, to finally being employed by the clans.  For a time, she worked in the Vox Populi and could be found between missions at "The Cup " in West Athens, or lounging in any other Java-House she found near.
Recent events, however, had her wondering if she chose the right path, following her now deceased friend, Danykalla, into the side of the Clans.  On a mission into an Omni office building, she finds in a locked chest a book titled "Prophet Without Honor"  which also includes in it's appendix a time-line of the history of the Solitus race from old Earth.  After reading this historical accounting of the past of the human race, she begins to wonder how the Clans have the right to bite the hand that brought them here, gave them live, terraformed the very planet they call home......

Part Two:  The Child Returns:   Sun decides she can no longer live a lie, her heart and her head tell her  that the book she found, "Prophet Without Honor" speaks the truth and so she turns herself into the Omni Administration.      They record her story while using truth detectors, and while probing deeper into her mind, they find the pieces she could not remember on her own.  The discover that she is Danica Craddock, the daughter of a young couple who had just been transfered to Rubi-Ka by the Omni-tek Corporation.  Her mother was a doctor, while her father's position in Omni is still classified, even with his death.

She  remembers the crash, her family's Yalm being shot down over a junk-yard by a still unknown party.  She was just a toddler and couldn't understand why her Ma-Ma and Dah wouldn't wake up.  She remembers trying to open a food jar, failing, and finally dragging her "bee-bee" blanket out of the  wreckage and into the junkyard in search of food and someting to drink.  Grownng tired, she curls up with her blanket under a pile of metal out of the sun, and when she next awakens, a metal person (bot) has carried her to people with food and water.
She remembers her first knick-name, Jaxxa, given to her by the other kids when she was small because of the way she used to find bits of metal in the junkyards and shapen them on the concrete into "jax"...and while her small mind vaguely rmembers other kids  far away playing "jax" with bits of metal and a ball, she used her collection of metal bits to surround herself for safety while sleeping so she could not be sneaked up upon, and occasionally as weapons to defend herself from older bullies.
The Omni authorities explain to her that her parents had not reanimated because they had not been on Rubi-Ka long enough for their bodies to absorb the Notum to make the insurance terminals capable of restoring them, and luckily, she had survived  the crash with the extra protection of her toddler seat strapped in the Yalm, or she too, would not have survived either.

And so, Danica "Jaxxa" Craddock, the Omni child gone missing has returned home.
