Cole's a fixed point in Nemain's apartment block, always on desk. Sometimes people claim they've not seen him, but he's always found to be just sitting there, reading a paper. He's over forty, overweight, underpaid for the work he does, and balding - he oozes ever so slightly, sweating in the cold and turning bright pink in the Georgia summers. He doesn't seem to sleep, napping in hour-long stretches and instead chain-smoking the world's most horrible Marlboros and drinking from a warm bottle of Southern Comfort hidden in his drawer.
He's also, oddly enough, one of the best janitors the city area's had - possibly because the rest of them pack up and leave within four months, with all the oddnesses that happen. His block is... not untouched, but there's a certain amount of distance given to it. The basement's occupant is definitely someone to be wary of, no matter how stupid you are, and the supernaturals avoid it unless invited. He's lived in the block for over a year now, and during the day it wouldn't be the same place if Bob wasn't poking around fixing a dripping tap, or carrying a scrawny junkie out into the street to cower there rather than in the nice warm corridors.
He's got a knack of cowering the loudest thug or calming the most annoyed and harrassed single mother that's almost supernatural, in spite of the basic laziness and sluggish lethargy. He's almost impossible to stress, except when his Regnant's having one of her 'bad days', and cleans up bloodied walls and the remains of people with equal ease and a very uneasy stomach - and conscience.
