JANUARY 458.

Fimbulwinter in effect.

Niflheim plays ARTIFACT card.  Terminus Eldorado’s demonic armor: doubles CS, +1 CR and TE and any Army under his command are immune to magic.

Niflheim cannot pay upkeep for two of Terminus’ Dreadlords, each takes one wound.  Niflheim plays Supply-2 card to recover wounds to Dreadlords.

Nordheim plays JOKER card.  Ulfendar are now capable of Moving 8 (full) in all weather and terrain (hexside limits remain in effect), even fimbulwinter. They can live off the land as follows: Clear 3 units, Forest 2 Units, Marsh-Mt-Waste 1 Unit, outdoors in fimbulwinter 1 Unit (even when crossing ice, mountains, forest, waste, marsh etc). Further Ulfendar operating alone can avoid contact: infiltrate and pass through an enemy held hex without a battle during winter for free and during all other seasons at cost of one action. Ulfendar, operating in homogenous units, can never be affected by the FORCE BATTLE card. Lastly Ulfendar are undetectable in Winter, they are automatically placed in concealment as with the spell FOG.  In order for Ulfendar to make use of any of their special abilities they must be formed into homogeneous units (i.e. all of the troops under a single noble must be Ulfendar).  The cost of Ulfendar is increased to $10 and 4 manpower per Ulfendar.

Nordheim has violated the borders of neutral Cultherhos.  The elves have protested the actions of Nordheim and demanded that all Nordheimers immediately leave Cultheri land.

Dranhoom is promoted, takes control of all troops outside of Ludd, gives up the siege and marches north towards Nordheim.
