Born in Pont l'Abbe, Anna is born into dancing with her mother, Annik Coatalen. She pursues this at the CNR de Tours, at Rosella Hightower and the Central School of Ballet. Anna then qualifies at the Benesh Institute of London in July 2001. She participates to conferences on Ballet notation, writes the ballet "The Wall" for Mario Schroeder at the Kiel Opera, and becomes a repetitrice at l'Aalto-Theater Essen, at Deutscher Oper in Berlin and now in Leipzig.
