| Master Scholten has been a student of Grand Master Choin since 1974. Grand Master Choi has been very supportive of Master Scholten's efforts in rurla Alaska since 1995. In 2003 Grand Master Choin travled to Barrow in support of the program thier. Grand Master Choi was awarded Letters of Commendation from the Governor, Senator Ted Stevens for his many years of dedication and service to Rural Alaska TKD programs being taught by Master Scholten. | ||||||||||||||||||||
