MASTER DAN'S TRIP TO NOME TO TEST STUDENTS
The weather today was 80 bellow with wind chill. The carborator froze up on the snow machine on the way to the airport so we carried the bags the rest of the way.
Our Plane lands and after we unload freight there is room for us to get on. This is a 16 passenger turbine prop called a Caravan. A very nice plane suited for this area.
There was lots of room after the freight was unloaded and we have a great view both inside and out.
A view of the Sawtooth Range from 7,000 feet elevation as we approach Nome. Spectacular views while flying on cold winter days.
