Welcome to the home page of Boy Scout Troop 89, New Tripoli, PA.  Troop 89 is chartered by the Ontelaunee Rod & Gun Club, located at 7974 Gun Club Rd. New Tripoli, PA.  Troop meetings take place in the main room of the Gun Club on Mondays from 7:00-8:30 PM. For more information regarding the location and times of our meetings, or to confirm programming for the meetings, please feel free to email [email protected] . SATURDAY AUGUST 18� NIGHT IN THE COUNTRY � Here is your chance to get 2 hours of service time and help the Recreation Commission and your fellow Scouts with the Chinese Auction. You MUST wear your Class A Uniform to get in for free and to help at the auction tent. The 4-6PM time slot is filling fast, but we still need 6-8 and 8-10PM help.
 FRIDAY � SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 7-9� OA FALL CAMP WEEKEND � You must get all of the information off the Minsi Trails Website and register for this yourself!!!.
 MONDAY SEPTEMBER 10� FIRST MEETING NIGHT � We will begin our meetings this night and are making it mandatory for you to wear either your Class A or Class B uniform. If you have not reached the rank of first class, we also require you to bring your book to each meeting so we can help you with advancements. We will be handing out popcorn information this night. I have the Nuclear Science patches to hand out to those that took it at summer camp.
 MONDAY SEPTEMBER 17 - � MEETING � Work on menu for camping trip (this will complete #4a in 1st Class), advancements, work on completing partial merit badges from summer camp.
 MONDAY SEPTEMBER 24 � MEETING - Last chance to sign up for camping trip ($10.00 due). Work on advancements and completing any partial merit badges from summer camp.)
 THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 27 � FOOD SHOPPING for camping trip. This will complete 1st Class requirement #4b. We will meet at the IGA in Schnecksville at 7:00PM and it will take about 1 hour to complete the shopping.
 FRIDAY � SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 28, 29, 30 � CAMPING TRIP � We are planning to go to Locust Lake State Park above Tamaqua. We plan to take the canoes for fun on the lake and want to give many of you the chance for advancement with cooking, lashing, and other activities.

MONDAY OCTOBER 15 � MEETING- Get in groups for First Aid Meet (Do second Class First Aid)
MONDAY OCTOBER 22 � MEETING � Popcorn Orders Due!! Work on menu
 MONDAY OCTOBER 29 � MEETING � Popcorn Orders Due!! (LAST CHANCE!!) Finalize menu Last chance to sign up for camping trip ($10.00 due). Prepare for First Aid Meet (Do 1st Class First Aid � Bandages). Hand out Scouting for Food door hangers.
