OK!  Here's the update!  Get off my back!
Geezy Pete...you would think we stole money from all of you...
The short version of the ong story.  Early January:  Emma goes to Hershey medical Center for hernia operation.  We don't like Hershey's intermediate intensive care unit.  Their NICU is much nicer, or at least much more what we were used to in Lancaster.  Still, no one will compare to the Lancaster General Women and Babies people.  Anyway, I digress -->
Hernia Op ended up just fine  Emma was a little cranky that none of her normal nurse type peeps were around, but she got through it all somehow.  She's a trooper that way.

Fast forward to end of February.  Visit to pulmonologist (if I spelled that correct) yields discovery of slight amount of fluid in lungs.  More drugs that obvioulsy don't taste too well.  Just ask Emma, she'll tell you.  She's tipping the scale near 9 big girl pounds - she was 8 lb. 13 oz on Friday 2/28.

Is Emma sleeping?  More and more.  Although she does not like the diuretic, it apparently puts her out!  She slept from midnight until 6 AM.  Mom was up constantly "making sure Emma was breathing".

To the left  <--- is a picture taken 3/1/03.  Isn't she adorable?  She gets that from her mom.  The devilish look that will be in her eyes one day, that will be me...

Below is a pick from a few weeks ago.  Yes, I know, if I tok picks a few weeks ago, why didn't I update the site?  Get over it.  This whole baby thing at home is throwing me for a big loop.  It was much easier when she was cared for 24/7 by  RN types and other health care professionals.
