Not off the O2 yet...

So, we were changing the nasal canula and figured we'd take some pictures today (5/17/03). She was a bit concerned at first, but ended up smiling very nicely for the camera! She's such a little ham!

Anyway, Jeannine fired off the update below just yesterday, so there is not a lot to add. There's a link down below for a second page of pictures.

I hope everyone is doing ok. "Hi" to all the NICU people that Jeannine and Emma have missed on their visits. Emma's World Tour will continue, stopping by a city near you soon...

To all of my friends: Yes, I am alive. Just been really busy with work. THat should start to even out soon! Maybe I will even make it back to NJ for a few beers with you this summer, I hope. Sprinsteen, July, Giants Stadium...we have tickets...I can't wait!

Anyway, that's all for now. Diapers to change, formula to make, etc...

Hi Everyone!
I hope ALL is well in your worlds!  I am also hoping for the nice weather to return so Miss Emma and I can be out and about:)  Keep those emails coming...I love hearing what is going on in the real world.
Dan measured her this morning:24".  I am going to guess and say she is about 12 1/2lbs.  She has increased her formula intake (growth spurt).  She talks from morning till night.  She is still on alittle bit of O2 (1/8 liter) and the apnea monitor...we are hoping to be done with them within the next few months.  Her X-rays look great.  Emma is extremely active...she is taking her first nap in days!!!  She is almost rolling over.  Would love to crawl but the arms are not cooperating  with the legs yet.  Walks (even stepping over her cords) when you hold her.   She is allowed to go in public.  She is so psyched to have other people to "talk" to.  She is quite the charmer!
I will continue to keep you posted.  I am sure you will all hear us scream when she is aloud to come off the O2!!!
