| Cabin Interior: After Cleanup | ||||||||||||||||||||

| Looking at the forward section, its evident that this stuff cleaned up pretty well after a little scrubbing and rinsing. The board under the 'head' had been replaced in the last 30 years, apparently with plain old plywood. It was rotted out, and will be replaced with the good stuff - nice teak planking! | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Aft Port Side 'setee' (under the sink). This was after two coats of CETOL Light and one of Semi-gloss CETOL. Luckily, there was not any finish on any of the interior wood. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Curtains and Cushions are the next items for the cabin. Pat's going to try her hand at upholstery, with the foam pieces coming from a local craft and fabric shop. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Lucky for us, the teak trimming had no finish on it to start with, so it cleaned up pretty nicely, and even after only 4 coats of varnish it looks pretty. The electrical panel seems to be in decent shape too. I think it was recently replaced. |
