I met Danny on March the 8th 2001. He was performing with Pete Masitti in Los Angeles.Those of you that havent heard his music you have to go and check him out. My friend Misty and I get there early. We were sitting in her car talking and this guy walks up towards the door of the club. I look over and I say, "Oh my god. That is Pete." I rolled down my window and I said,"Hi Pete." He came over to the car and I introduced myself and my friend. He knew who I was cause we have been emailling each other back and forth. He went and got his stuff and me and Misty got out of the car. I went towards the club and I looked over and Brad and T were standing there so I went over and gave T a hug and got introduced to Brad. We went into the club and sat down on a couch. The concert started and Pete sang about three of his songs and then he introduced Danny. Thank goodness I was sitting down cause I probably would of passed out cause my heart was beating so fast and my hands were sweating. To me Danny looked grungy. LOL!! I mean Pete was dressed all nice and Danny had on a pair of jeans and a raggedy t shirt. He did still look good though. He sang two songs from his up and coming CD. Then he went to the back of the club and Pete finished his performance. To me the best part of the performance was the very last song. Pete said I would like to dedicate this last song to JEN (THATS ME!!) If you want to know why well youll just have to ask her. Then he sang my favorite song Little Yellow Tatto. It was soooo awesome and I will never forget it. The concert was over so everyone went outside. Pete had some CD'S in his trunk so I went and bought a few. Danny was talking to some girls so I waited for him to finish and come over to where we were standing. Then I introduced myself and he knew who I was because of the fan fic that I wrote about him. Then I took a pic with him.

New Kids Convention Boston, MA July 15th 2001

At the convention, Danny performed a few songs from his upcoming
CD. Someone in the audience tried to get him to sing "Valentine Girl".
He was like 'uh, I don't think that Pete (who was playing guitar) doesn't
know how to play that song!" LOL! Pete was like, if Danny says so! LOL!!! Then when he was finished singing you were able to get his autograph and buy his CDs he had for sale. I bought the single for Get away and had it signed.
To continue my story, the next day was Saturday and Danny was going to be there at 10am for his Q and A. They did it press conference style. Danny got asked a bunch of different questions about New Kids and his solo stuff and his kids, he was real open and honest about everything. When it was finished everyone stood in line to take pictures with Danny. I was at the very end of the line because I wanted to get some more autographs and give Danny my story. {It is called "The Dream", and I have been writing it on and off for ten years. It is a fan fic} As I said, I was at the very end of the line. Shadow was before me, so she helped ease some of my nerves. Thanks, Shadow! I got to the beginning of the line and, while Shadow was taking her pic with Danny, I went up to his friend Kyle who was standing behind a desk selling stuff. I showed him my story and he gave me a hug and said that I rocked. LOL! You see, I sent part of it to Kyle first to see what he thought of it. Then I asked him if I should send it to Danny and he said that he already DID!!! OMG! The look of shock on my face!! My friends kept telling me to breathe. LOL!
Anyways, back to the convention, I told Kyle that I wanted to give it to Danny but I didn't want to have like five seconds like everyone else was getting. So he said that he would see what he could do. I got back in line and handed my camera to Nikki and then I gave Danny the story. (You see, my story was only like 178 pages or so when it was finished. But stupid me increased the font and therefore the story was like 200 or more pages when I gave it to him.) He looked and it was like OMG! So I explained to him why it was so big. Then I had him sign the cover for Tara and then the intro page for me. GRRRR at Staples when I went there to have them copy my story, well they lost my intro page that Danny signed! Then we took a pic together. My friend Kristy was there and she was also taking pics of us! LOL! Then I went out of the hotel and sat down and cried. I mean everyone that is in here and has been reading my story knows how much it meant to me. It was a very emotional and stressful day that day. I am glad that it is all over with and that he finally has it.
I came back in from outside and sat down on the couch. All of my friends came up to me and asked me how it went. THANK YOU to all of my friends. You were all really there for me that day and I really appreciate it. Then they asked if I was going to get into the room and I said I don't know. Candace went up to the door and talked to Nikki who was in charge and asked her if I was going to get into the room. THANK YOU CANDACE!!! She said that they were working on it. So about five minutes later I am still sitting there, nervous as hell and crying. Christine (aka Joeymac38) came over and asked if I am going in there and I said I don't know. She grabs my hand and tells me to come with her. Thank you Christine for that push! We went over and stood by the door. I saw Kyle in the room and he put his hand up as to say 'one more minute'. (OMG the panic attack hit right there and then!) I felt like I was going to throw up..thank God I didn't! Nikki brought the people out of the room, and I went in. Danny was sitting down at the table and I sat down next to him. I was sooooo in shock that I didn't know what to say. His dad came in and talked to him. I was like "so I hope you like the story and I know that this must all be weird to you". He just smiled and nodded and told me that he was going on vacation and would get back to me in three weeks. (UM, I think that all of the New Kids lost their sense of timing!) Anyways, then he signed my shirt, in red marker so I can't wash it. Then I got a hug, I asked him for it so it was more like me hugging him! LOL! That is my story!

The Roxy January 15, 2002

Hello I went and saw Danny and Pete in concert last night. OMGGGGGGGGG They rocked. They had a band behind them. They sound soooooo good with a band. Pete came out and played first. They were running late so he was only able to play a few songs. Then Danny came out. I didnt recognize him at first cause he had this funky hat on. LOL! Thank god he took that off. The he left the stage when he was finished. Oh and Donnie and his wife Kim were there too. Everyone went towards them and he had to sneak out the back door and back stage so that he could see Danny. They hugged and it was sooooooo cool. Nice to see them together again. Oh and I got my pic taken again with Danny. Before I took the pic I asked him if he had a chance to read my story and he said, "Yes I thought that it was very good." OMGGGGGGG I bet everyone can imagine how happy I was. I cant believe that he finally read it. I had an awesome time.
