well the first and only time i met danny wood was at the convention..a
couple
of summers ago..
and i met you..
dream girl...
i was at the convention for the weekend..and saw him and pete do there
thing..haha and did the picture thing..he was so nice.
while at the concert(show)..some of the gals told his dad i was
battling
breast cancer..and i felt ackward knowin danny lost his mom so recent..
cancer has that affect on you..
so i was up front enjoyin his "sounds" and all..
and then we had karaoke..it was a blast..of course i did joe..haha..
and mr "wood" sr..stayed and watched..i heard he wanted to meet me to
chat a
bit..
so i did my karaoke..to which i am crowned karaoke queen nkotb..omg..
so after i did my song "walkin my baby back home" i went over to "sr"
and
introduced myself..
he was havin a fit of laughter..we spoke..and he said do you do
anything else
besides act like joe..he said i was really doing joe to a "t"..haha..
we chatted for a few..about the cancer..and he wished me the best..
there is a pic of me and danny sr and jr in the album..
so the next day was answer and question with the families..
and tom mcintyre walked in singing..Please don't go girl..we all
laughed
they had the questions on paper..and they said we have a question from
our
karaoke queen..christine pelletier..
danny looked up at me and smiled..and said.."oh your the one"
i almost died..haha
i asked what he would be doing if not for new kids and music..and he
said..i
would be spending alot more time with my children..i just won my suit
and
have my kids..so it's a great thing..( i have this all on video)
then when they were done..we did photo's..
i had danny sign my nkotb jacket..and he asked me where i got it..he
said and
so did joe that it was an authentic jacket..it was jordan and jon's
cousin's
jacket..he sold it on ebay.and a fan heard of my illness and bought it
for
me..wow..
danny and joe and jordan and jon have all signed it..
no donnie wahlberg..his mom was upset that donnie didn't sign it..but
what
was i to do??
jon's mom well there is a photo in there also of us in our nkotb
jackets..she
was funny.."how did you get my nephews jacket.i will have to speak to
him"
the jacket i have is limited to family and new kids ONLY>>wow..
and of course brad signed it..if it weren't for brad..i would have
never met
the fan.."carla" and have this gorgious jacket..!!!
sharon knight took the jacket home that weekend and had jon and jordan
sign
it..i got it back over 6 months later. i was a nervous wreck..but she
was so
nice..we met up again at the hardrock cafe in boston..where joe was
doing
karaoke..and she had the jacket..she said it sat in jon's truck for a
couple
of months..ahhh~
k sorry off of danny there for a sec...
danny is alot shorter than i expected..i felt so foolish..because i was
still
alive..and could only imagine what he was thinking..
i had written to him on his site.and everyone had told me that he
answers all
his emails..but he never answered mine..:{
maybe it was to sore for him..i talked about cancer..i feel like such
an ass..
but i will never forget the look on his face..when nicki said the
karaoke
queen..and danny kinda through his head up..and laughed and has a huge
smile
on his face..and said "oh your the one"..
i can only imagine what his dad said..haha
that is my encounter with danny..till i met you..
i never knew you..and heard about a dream a fan wrote and how important
it
was for her to get it to danny..she was shakin so damn bad..i thought
she was
gonna collapse..
so i used my BIG mouth and got her in to meet danny..ALONE.
i felt good..i watched her and danny talk. and i watched danny thumb
through
her dream..
then i learned "your"' name and we have kept in touch ever since..miss
jenn
miller..
