RACES

Android
Beings that consist mostly or entirely of artificial parts, but do not have to have a mechcanical look. There are many types of androids and differnet designs and exteriors. An exterior common of Dr. Gero's creations are human. There are three main classes of androids in the Dragonball world: Androids with a human base that rely on an internal power source, androids without a human base with an internal power source, and androids with a human base that rely on power absorbing nodes in their hands. All androids in the series are produced by the Red Ribbon Army (Dr. Gero).

Arlians
Homeworld: Planet Arlia
Lived on the Planet Arlia until Vegeta and Nappa wiped the planet out.

Basian (Bas-jin)
Homeworld: Planet Base
A short, stout race of four-eyed telepaths, only one Bas-jin is introduced to us in the series (Gerudo). It is unknown if any more exist.

Bun
Homeworld: One of Frieza's Planets
This race looks a lot like human, with tints of green or blue to there skin colour, also have a beard the same shade. There strongest fighter is around 3,000-4,000. They were problably Taken over by frieza and forced into the empire. This is the reason why many are sen as minions.

Humans
Homeworld: Planet Earth
Weak civilisation like the Truffles lives on earth with the Z gang.

Kaio-Shins
Homeworld: Heaven
There are four of this race. Just like the Kaio race, Kaio-shins take care of the part of the galaxy they live on. Rulers of the four galaxies, the Kaioshins are immortal beings that watch (and protect) their domain. All but the East Kaioshin is wiped out by Buu's tirade. They are not physically strong, but as gods, they have a great influence over the galaxies.

Kaios
Homeworld: Heaven
Lesser gods of the universe, the Kaios are immortal creatures that live in heaven. In the series, we only see the Kaio from the North Galaxy, and it is unknown if the rest were killed when Buu destroyed most of the Kaioshins. The Kaios are notorious for their pride and stubborness, but they rarely let it get the better of them. Strongest one of them known would be King Kai at 4,000.

Makio-jin
Homeworld: The Makio Star
Examples of the Makio-jin are Garlic, Garlic Jr. and the Spice Boys. They live on the Makio star and the Makio star gives them extra power.

Nameks
Homeworld: Planet Namek
Lived on Planet Namek. This planet took a major roll in the Frieza saga. Planet Namek blew up so the Nameks were transported to earth, then to a new Planet Namek.

Tsufuru (Tsufuru-jin)
Homeworld: Planet Planet (renamed to Planet Vegeta after they were killed)
An advanced civilisation with advanced weaponry that were destroyed by the Saiyans.A frail, yet highly intelligent race native to the Planet Plant, they protect their domain from the chaotic race of wilderness-dwelling Saiya-jin. Their civilization is heavily advanced, and possesses technology that allows them to move spaceships beyond the speed of light. However, a full moon wipes out their entire race (but not their technology).

Saibamen
Homeworld: Unknown (Problably a planet Freiza taken over)
They grow out of the ground and there are a variety of different species/types of Saibamen.
Example: Green Saibamen Nappa Had.

Saiyan (Saiya-jin)
Homeworld: Planet Vegeta
Saiyans look VERY like human, except all have a Tail, unless removed. The Saiyans were a brutal, primitive race, the Saiya-jins were a race of bandits and criminals on Planet Plant. Their long-time rivals, the Tsufuru-jin, managed to keep the physically strong race in check with their technology. However, the Saiya-jins took over the planet when Plant had its first full moon in a long time. The planet was renamed Vegeta, and the Saiya-jins adopted Tsufuru-jin machines for themselves. Ignorance brought the downfall of their race when they refused to heed Bardock's warning about Frieza. Their homeworld was smashed to bits, and only a handful of Saiya-jins survived. All members of their race (even half-bloods) possess the ability to go Oozaru and Super Saiya-jin, though few reach the level to attain SSJ. They have unique abilities and trades. One of them is "once a saiyan-jin's hair has grown to its maxium, it will never grow longer". Also Saiyans have the "Grow stronger after ever battle" rule, which works for all saiyans, but some have tremandous boosts after battles, while some get a little out of it. The Strongest Saiyan alive would problably be Goku Power level well over other races.

Slug
Homeworld: One of Frieza's Planets
This race looks a lot like a slug, a large head and reptilain skin, there colour of skin can vary from purple to green. There strongest fighter is around 2,500-3,500. They were problably Taken over by frieza and forced into the empire. This is the reason why there seen as minions to Frieza.

Yardrat-Jin
Homeworld: Yardrat
A race that can manipulate time and space, they play a brief (but important) role when they teach Goku how to use Shunkan Idou. Goku ends up on their world when he finds one of the Ginyu pods space-worthy, and hops in just before Namek explodes.

Unknown (Nickname Vampire)
Homeworld: One of Frieza's Planets
This race looks a lot like human, but having pointy ears and a sharp chin and thin body. Looks a lot also like a vampire. There strongest fighter is around 1,000-3,000. They were problably Taken over by frieza and forced into the empire.
Example: The Enemy the 3 nameks killed on namek when dende was saved by Gohan and Krillin

Zarbon-Jin
Homeworld: One of Frieza's Planets which was taken over
This race looks a lot like human, While having plae green skin, and dark green hair. They have an ability to hide there ugly nature to a more pleasent form, this takes a lot of there energy, so when fighting a difficult enemy, they transform back to there ugly selves. Have an voice much like australiila back on eath. There strongest fighter is Zarbon who was 33,000 in his natural form. They were problably Taken over by frieza and forced into the empire much like other members of frieza's empire.
