Special: 3 new songs! But Missing "Love is Alive" and "Wishing Well"
"Why'd You Lie To Me", "Don't You Wanna", and "Late Last Night"
-- Anastacia's new album Not That Kind finally made its way to stores on Tuesday (March 27). The album was originally scheduled to be released in the U.S. last May, but Anastacia told that the delayed release allowed for some changes to the U.S. version of the album--including the addition of three new tracks that don't appear on the the European version. The songs that were added include "Why'd You Lie To Me," "Don't You Wanna," and "Late Last Night." In all, 11 songs on Not That Kind were co-written by Anastacia.
The singer-songwriter explained that the delay in her album's release also gave people a chance to get to know her--and, of course, illegally download her music from the Internet. Now she's glad that the album is in stores: "I think its timing is perfect and I think that I've kept enough of a fanbase that people either have already downloaded my stuff, and know what I have to offer as an artist. And they're really, really excited even just to buy the album as a real album."
