In the Notification area, he has configure for Complaints against vendor notification and internal problem notification. This is the SAP R/3  4.6C, Pharmaceutical project with more than 15 team member and 6 plants.  The SAP QM functionality which have been implemented include, QM Master Data, Materials Master QM view, QM Work Center, Catalog, Q-info Record, Dynamics Modification Rule, Sampling Procedure, Sampling Scheme, Quality Level,  Inspection Plan, Routing, Master Recipe, Inspection Lot Management, Results Recording, Defect Recording, Inspection Lot Completion, Quality Certificate, Notification and Test Equipment  Management. SAP QM functionality have been used for the processes begin from Incoming Quality Control (IQC),  In-Process QC, Out -Bound QC (OBQC), Notification and Calibration.  My role in this project is to ensure the SAP QM functionality have been used to the optimal, and to implement the robust business process and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and ISO compliance, such Electronics Signature. At the same time leverage with the European Competence Center to ensure the harmonisation of the process for B|Braun Global processes. The implementation process include Business Requirement Studies, Model Preparation, Configuration, Prototyping, Business Experts Training, UAT, Integration Test, End User Training, Cut-over and Post Live Support.

Provide the Global SAP Logistics (PP/MM/PM/PC) support for all the BAT end market.   Working on a mini project, called Kit-Sales model for BAT Singapore.  A requirement gatehre is conducted for the Ki-Sales gap and issues.  Working closely with SD consultant to make the Kit-Sales model fulfill the requirement. Writting up the whie paper for the Kit-Sales solution.  A system prototyping was build to simulate the model.  Presented the proposed Kit-Sales solution to the end-market in Singapore.  Conduct the user training, UAT and implement the solution.

Leading the i2 DP implementation evaluation to bolt on current RP model. This is to enhance the forecasting model.  The scope of work include studies the fucntionality of the i2 DP. Did a fit/gap analysis of the business requirement and what can be offered by i2 DP.  A technical fit-gap benchmark aslso been conducted in order to get the feasibility of installing i2 DP in the current i2 RP box.  At the same time provide necessary technical knowhow to the support team as per required. Also train the new person up, so that she is able to handle all the i2RP related supot issues after 2 weeks.

 

 

BAT HK, Hong Kong

This the rollout for the next 14 stores.  It take the team 3 weeks for the full rollout of the rest of the 140 stores.  This include the master data conversion, enhancement of the some of the existing business process, co-operation work the CK from the business operation rollout.  The 150, all the stores, was switch on 24th June, and the legacy system was turn off both from the BAT HK and CK sides.  An on site support was provided for 2 weeks was provided.

This is a i2 Replenishment Planning (RP) versio 5.01 FMCG project. The functional areas that I am involed in are : Forecasting, Repleniehemnt Planning (RP). and IP (Inventory Planning).   I was reponsble for the i nitial data conversion, training materials, and testing.   I also involved in the customised User Interface, using Power Bulder.  These interface including maintenance of master Data i2. The project went live on 18th March 2002.  2 weeks on site suport was provided.  Then I was back to the GSD (Group Service Delivery) office in KL for the handover to the support team, remote support and preparation for the next role out.  For the Phase 1 A, only 11 store was live. Another 140 stores will be in the next role out.

Knowledge transfer to the Analysts, Post live support.   The are of PPPI which is implemented are: PP/PI Master Data (Materials Master, Master Recipe, Resource), SOP, Demand Management, MPS, MRP, Process Order Management, Process Management, Production Information Management), Batch Management. On the other hand for QM, Master Data (Materials Master, Master Inspection Characteristics, General Characteristics, Inspection Method, Work Center, Inspection Plan, Sampling Procedure), Quality Inspection (Lot Creation – after GR, manual, Transfer Posting -, Results Recording, Usage Decision), Quality Notification (customer complaint, vendor error, internal), Quality Information System.

This is a SAP R/3 4.6c project, with global Global Supply Chain Design.  My role in this project is to provide advice and implementation in robust the Supply Chain Business Process Design with SAP as the enabler.  The areas of business involve in this team are, Distribution Center Planning, Manufacturing Plant Planning and Execution and Inter Plant Planning.  Functions of SAP used in this project are, Long Term Planning, SOP, MPS/MRP, Production Order Processing, and ECM.  Besides, some add-on has been developed to close the gap between the standard SAP function and business requirement.  The implementation partner of this project is IBM Taiwan.  Note: post live support from 1 July to 6 July 2001.

SAP R/3 4.6c is used for this project.  I am the PP Team Lead with others three PP consultants and 8 Full Time PP Key users.  PP function which is implemented are: PP Master Data, Variant Configuration, Repetitive Manufacturing, Kanban, JIT Call, Production Order, Make-to-stock, Planning with final assembly and Make-to-order.  My responsibility in this project is to plan, execute and monitor the PP implementation, especially for the Realization Phase. My main task in the Realization Phase is to resolve all the open issues and proposed the best solution.  Besides, to test all the business scenarios that has been designed during the Blueprint phase.  I leave the project after the Realization Phase due to the project budget issues.  The implementation partner for this project is HPC Taiwan.

Team Lead for DTM (Design-to-Manufacture) and CTO (Configure-to-Order) implementation.  My main role is to plan, execute and monitor the planning of the implementation.  Besides, to design, make sure the Best Practice element is considered in the design and co-ordinate the integration issues.  Continue from the As-Is processes and Contract Manufacturing Best Practice finding from BPR project, to map these processes into SAP R/3 and APO.  The process begins from Demand Planning, where the use of ‘e’ solution in APO DP to have the collaborative planning with the customer.  In the Supply Planing, APO SNP and PPDS are used to generate the constraints based and optimized supply plan.  SAP R/3 PP is designed as the Production Execution tools.

Team member of the SCP/SMM (Supply Chain Planning/Supply Materials Management) Team.  The main role of the team is to consolidate the As-Is business processes, research the industry best practice (contract manufacturing), application of the tools like SAP R/3 and APO to fulfill the best practice requirement and propose the road map for the implementation.  The team has conducted extensive interview with the internal and external party. All the manufacture plants globally have been visited and phone interview to understand the Supply Chain issues and requirements.  For the external party, the suppliers, logistics provider, and e-services provider.  An extensive research is carried out in the contract manufacturing supply chain model.  Visited some of the industry lead like Solectron.

Conducted Feasibility study of the SAP implementation for Production Planning and Control.  My main role in the project is to gather the as-is process and carry out the fit-gap analysis for the as-is process and SAP R/3 PP process.  I Interviewed 15 Key Process owners to gather the as-is process. Conduct the 5 days SAP R/3 PP training for the key users.  Finally we delivery the As-Is business processes, Fit-Gap Analysis and Proposal of SAP implementation to replace their current legacy system.

This is a SAP R/3 40B in Hi-Tech industry project.  My involvement in this project began form pre-sales stage.  I was the Team Lead for QM and PP modules.  My main role is to supervise the implementation of SAP R/3 Production Planning, Quality Management and Interface programs.  For the QM module implementation, the implementation cycles that I am responsible: As-Is, Conceptual Design, Configuration and Testing, User Acceptance Test, Data Conversion and Go Live support.  QM modules functionality used in this project are: Master Data (Inspection Characteristics Master, Work Center, Inspection Plan, Catalog, Inspection Method, Sampling Procedure and Dynamic Modification Rules).  QM is integrated with MM Purchasing module for the triggering of the Inspection Plan upon Goods Receipts of the Purchase order.  Dynamic Modification Rules function is used for the AQL (Acceptance Quality Level) logic of STS (Ship to Stock), Skip Lot and Inspection.  Inspection Results Recording is used for the inspection results entering in SAP.  Quality Notification is used to notify vendor when there is rejection in the inspection.  Usage Decision function is used to inspection results decision.

This is a SAP R/3 3.1H project in Pulp and Paper Industry.  I was the Lead Consultant for the SAP R/3 Production module responsible for the full-cycle implementation.  The functionality of the PP process comprised of PP Master (Materials Master, BOM, Routing, Work Center, ECM), MRP, and Production Order Processing.  SAP PP Make-to-Order strategy is adopted by SFI.

In this project he was involved in conducting business requirement studies, conceptual design, modeling, detail design, power user training, user acceptance testing, integration testing and post implementation support.  There was a PP consultant working under my supervision. 

 

Schindler Manufacturing Malaysia (Elevator Division)

This is a SAP R/3 3.1H project in the Elevator Industry.  This is a rollout project and I played the Team Lead Role in this full-cycle implementation of SAP R/3 Production Planning module.  His scope of work covered from finalizing the business process until post-implementation support.  There was one PP consultant working under my supervision.

Schindler Manufacturing Malaysia (Escalator Division)

This is a SAP R/3 3.1H project in the Elevator Industry I was the Team Leader in this SAP R/3 PP Make-to-order with Variant Configuration implementation. Based on the knowledge transferred from the headquarters, Vienna, I conducted the business design enhancement, key user training, user acceptance testing and integration testing.  There is one PP consultant working under my supervision.  The PP process scope of work comprised of Materials Master, BOM, Routing, Work Center, ECM, MRP, Consumption Based Planning, Variant BOM, Sales Order BOM, Exception Message Handling, Production Order Processing and Kanban.
