Sounio and Glyfada

Sounio is a small community on the southern tip of the Attic peninsula. There, surrounded by the beauty of the islands and the sea, stands the reconstructed temple of Poseidon. We spent several hours absorbing the magnificence of God's creation, and we sang praises as we watched the sun set. We ended the evening in Glyfada, an Americanized suburb of Athens, where previous HUG groups have stayed.
