Mirabell Garden has 4 statues and each respectively stands for fire, water, soil and wind.


The movie 'Sound of Music' was set here. Maria and the captain's children are immediately appearing in our minds, dancing around the fountain.


Salzburg with 'Salz' means salt; and 'burg' means city. It has a huge business in producing mountains of salt. It brews beer, and manufacture metals, chemicals and textiles. Taxes are very heavy and it is counted in great detail for every item. No tuition is required for students from underdeveloped countries.


This Roman Catholic church, Dom Cathedral, is dedicated to Saint Rupert and Saint Virgil. It counts among the treasures of sacred arts of architecture in the German-speaking area. Its engraving and drawing are so delicate.

The city boasts castles, churches and other architectures dating back to the early 7th century, and it lies in the shadow of Hohensalzburg, a massive medieval fortress, begun in 1077.
Cafes and coffeehouses are an Austrian tradition, and it is a custom to take an afternoon break for a strong cup of coffee, which is typically topped with whipped cream. In this coffee shop, we ordered the famous Melange Coffee with the popular Sachertorte Cake tasted sweet and sour to us.
Mozart was born in this city. This is the Mozart Museum which contains many of the Mozart's musical instruments and personal properties.
Mozart was a brilliant pianist as well as a composer. Most of the piano concertos were written for his own performances and called for a high level of virtuosity.
