Grease Spanky was my car in high school and my first year of college. Grease Spanky was a 1987 Chevy Caprice I bought from my aunt for $300. Spanks may have had humble beginnings, but she had personality and charm to spare. She was a legend and true friend and some of the greatest times of my life were spent inside her metal and glass walls. All good things must come to an end, but Grease Spanky didn't go out like no punk. Driving down the LIE one afternoon, her engine caught fire. She was towed away, stripped of usable parts and crushed into a tiny cube. That's the way to go. You are gone, Grease Spanky, but not forgotten. Here's to you my friend.
