How to get all characters
Luigi:
Play adventure mode. On the first level, just before you come to the finish, wait until the 2 second to cross. Example: finished at 4:32. Mario will be replaced by Luigi on the next battle. Then, finish adventure mode and at the end after Bowser you will fight Luigi if you beat him he is yours.
marth is by beating classic with every original character
ganondorf is by beating event 29, triforce gathering
get roy by beating classic with marth on no continues
mewto is by playing 20 hours with one human, 15 hours with two humans, 10 with three, an 5 hours with four humans.
clear event 37 to get pichu
to get dr. mario, beat classic or adventure without continue
to get falco, beat 100maN-Melee melee in the multi-man melee section
to get jigglypuff, clear classic mode once
to get young link, clear classic with ten characters
to get game and watch, clear classic with every other character except him
to get battlefield, beat all-star mode with anybody. to get all-star mode get every character and then you'll find it in regular mode.
to get brinstar depths, samus' tumbling rock area, play 50 vs. modes
for fourside, ness' skyscraper town, play 100 vs. matches
for big blue, capn falcon's 2nd racing area, play 150 vs. matches
to get get poke floats, a sky-high arena in which you must jump from balloon to balloon, play 200 vs. matches.
for mushroom kingdom 2, mario's flash back, snes graphics arena, get a pidgit trophy in lottery, adventure mode, classic, or all-star.
