In the morning, we went shopping locally. We bought Julianna a panda bear doll. She likes it. It will go with her Herrod bear from London and her koala bear from Australia. We also brought some small presents.

In the evening, we took the walk to the consulate. Basically, you spend more time getting through security than the actual appointment. You go into a room with other adoptive parents and take a quick oath. The oath was that you will be good parents.

The boat cruise was wonderful. The city is beautiful from the river. I would recommend this to anyone who is coming.

Julianna is still happy and dancing. My wife and I feel very lucky. Tomorrow, we get her visa at 3:30 PM and the rest of the day is free. My wife and I are ready for a break.

My wife and I are looking forward to tomorrow, the trip home. We are glad we came but are getting sick of living in a suitcase. My wife purchased one last gift today.

We took a group photo at 9:30 and got our visa at 3:30 PM. We were also told about the plane arrangements for home. My wife and I have sore throats. We think it was from the open air on the cruise. They cleared up by afternoon, but now I have a runny nose.

Julianna is doing fine. She eats anything that doesn't eat her. For breakfast she had a bowl of porridge and a banana.

Tomorrow is the magic day. We get to take our baby to the United States. The adventure here to get her was wonderful, but we are ready to come home.
