Durring the past week the following occured...
-Thought about possible topics
-Considered speech enhancement to be a possible topic
-Although I considered speech enhancement I did not research it much because our group has not yet selected a project. However, I did learn about one of the ways to eliminate a lot of the white noise that would come in to a microphone along with the desired speech. By using a low pass filter one can filter out the noise that would be above a certain frequency range so as to reduce most of the white noise.
