Rhiannon's Story

" Hello my dear friends..my name is Rhiannon. "

It is a Welsh name that means: a mythological nymph.
For those like the writer here, nymph means this:
One of a numerous class of lesser deities of mythology,
conceived of as beautiful maidens inhabiting: the sea,
rivers, woods, trees, mountains, etc. Frequently mentioned
as attending a superior deity. A beautiful young lady.

To get an idea of what I look like .. take a gander
at the photos above and below. I am a simple mermaid,
but have much strength located within myself. *Smiles*

My hair color is a blonde, as many can tell from the photos.
One thing that you do not know, is that it also has many
streaks, too . My hair changes with the season. It will
have: blue in the winter, green in the summer, orange in
the fall and lavender in the spring. Very nice I might add.

My eyes are the shade of coral. A very light peachy shade.
When you gaze into my eyes you can almost see the past.
As for my tail, it reflects the environment it is in and my
mood, too. That is why the photos look so very different.

I have been blessed with an awesome gift..that of
communication. Every animal I encounter hears my cry and
my words. I can spend hours talking with them, which always
made my father mad. LOL! My favorite little friend, who is
still with me to this day, is a stingray. I call her "Angel".
For her movement of flight. I was blessed with knowing her
children and her husband as well. It has been swell! *giggle*
Now to tell you of my story:

"My background I'm using"

My story starts out back on the bleak month of March.
The year was 1995 and it was the end of the month. Infact,
spring was right upon us when it all began. New life was
forming and the ocean was full of merfolk. I remember it so
well..like it was only yesterday. Of course, we kept
ourselves well hidden, but during the nights we would awaken
to the moon. There it was shining bright above us, and all
we could do was sing and praise the life given to us. My
mother and father were King and Queen of that year. I loved
my parents very much. My father was a man to be proud of.
I envied my mother a lot to find him. I only hoped I was that
lucky when I decided to settle down. OH YES! Us merfolk
will mate for life. I was promised to one called: Triton.

All the merfolk agreed that he had what it took to be
OUR savior. Of course, all I saw was a boy playing like
he was a man. =) Tho..I did find him utterly attractive
and that was all that mattered to me. I had FIVE sisters
beside myself. We are all very unique in our own special
ways. Let me introduce them to you:
