Up, Up and Away!

"Hey how you guys doing up there?," I
say while looking up at the top bunk.

"We are okay. How about the two of you?",
my friends say from above us.

"Not too bad. Are you all scared?"

"A little nervous, but okay."

With that an announcement comes on:

"Attention! We are about to lift off
so, please remain buckled in your
beds. As, of a couple of hours ago,
the center has been broken into by
the outside. It won't be long now,
before they reach this section. I can
only assume that the staff of this
center has been killed. Please hang
on! This will be one bumpy ride.
Over and out!"

The ship begins to shiver and quake
with a great force. It knocks objects
down in the closets and upsets the
animals in the cages. The ship does
not shoot off into the sky like the
old space crafts. Instead it travels
upward like a helicopter. The ride
is now much smoother, that is until
we starting travelling through the
atmosphere. It then begins to get
very rough. It takes about 30 minutes
to become calm once more. We are
now in orbit around earth. At last!

"Ladies and Gentlemen:
we are now in orbit around our earth.
You are more than welcome to unbuckle
yourselves, but please at this time
remain in your rooms. Thank You!"

It does not take us long to get moving
again, tho we do not know where we are
going. The ride takes about an hour or
two, but soon we land. Oh what relief.

"Ladies and Gentlemen:
I am proud to annouce that we have just
landed on our own very moon. You may now
exit your rooms, but please stay near by
until further notice .. Thank You!

Basically, we were all staying very
close to our own room, but many of
us were looking up and down the
center triangle. The Announcement:

"You may now proceed to the floors:
11, 12, 13, 14 and 15. From here you
will be able to see Earth. Thank You!"
