Sarah
 Try to imagine pure enthusiasm refined into a refreshing, lightly carbonated liquid. Now, use that liquid to water a field of sugar cane. Make that sugar into a cake. Sarah would like some cake if you're making one.
No one seems to remember for sure whether we started calling her Fun Sarah to distinguish her from other Sarahs or simply because she's just that fun. If there's a single defining exemplar of the shift in my social circle, starting in about 2005, from being comprised mainly of shiftless young ruffians and ne'erdowells toward being primarily charming, conscientious if quirky and demanding young women, it's Sarah.
As I am writing this, Sarah is buying me a present, because we are friends. That information will not be useful to you in the long term.
Running Themes
Pie/Cake- For much of the early portion of our association, the bulk of our interaction took place over pie at Perkins. Reasons for that are unclear, though it was probably some combination of our incompatible schedules and lack of common interests. Since that time, though our shared pastimes are more numerous, pastry of one kind or another seems to be of constant importance.
Drunk Sarah- There's some debate as to whether Sarah may, at various points during the week, cross the line between "quirkiness" and "dissociative psychopathology." Drunk Sarah shares many of Sarah's qualities, likes and dislikes, but her decisions seem designed primarily to make Sarah's life difficult and unpleasant. Drunk Sarah, while the most notable and most often mentioned of Sarah's personae, is by far from the only one Sarah discusses/blames for things. Yesterday Sarah, Future Sarah, '05 Sarah, '06 Sarah, and Social Work Sarah share no small amount of culpability for Sarah's troubles.
Bad Decisions- Even Sober Sarah has an uncanny ability to make The Wrong Choice in almost any imaginable situation. She loses at the casino, she dates almost exclusively dudes of dubious quality, and she hates every job she gets. That being said, she maintains remarkably good spirits about her ever-evolving shambles of an existence.
